Video Game Wizard reviews
13 The store was a mess when I walked in, small dust and dirt layer on everything. I picked up a few things but instantly put them back down because it made my hands feel dirty, like I needed to wash them.
No organization for its games, sure they might be groupled by console but it wasn't alphabetized or tidy looking.
The man behind the counter started spewing his politcal beliefs when I didnt ask. Talking about how we should carpet bomb Yemen and kill them all because "they haven't done anything for us in 50 years". Not really something I would want in my ear as I'm browsing for DS games.
Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back.
Pushy sales man. Not a lot of game choices just seems like a bad business idea hard to find.

This store is a local legend. They have everything from half eaten pizza to scratched up GameCube games in the wrong cases. Jokes aside they run this place like a flea market booth. Sometimes you find some decent stuff here and they almost always work with you on prices. As for the smell? You'll just have to sniff it out for yourself and make your own opinion
I walked in this store a few days ago with my eldest son Gregory when we were met at the front doors by what some would call a privately owned militia of roaches spanning atleast four to six inches in length.me and my son decided to leave the store immediately after this discovery, where we were then pursued by a small army of rats outfitted with kevlar and wooden sticks in their hands, safe to say i will not be returning anytime in the near future.
I’ll start by just saying LOL. Not really sure how to describe this place other than gross and they have nothing. I thought the reviews were some sort of joke so I decided to waste my time and vacation and swing by to see what it was all about. They literally have a whole glass case filled with junk or maybe trash, not sure. They don’t have any games of any value. I’m truly impressed by how bad it actually was. Good luck.
Edit 03/2023: Visited the store on my yearly trip to Florida and doesn't seem like much has changed. They run the store like a hobby rather than a business it feels like. That's not always a bad thing, but some profesdionalism needs to be in order. The owner was wearing Pikachu pajamas (with the packaging still in the store) but they were having some kind of sale out front. It just seems like they need to clean and keep the food out of the storefront (leave it back in the back room with the boxes strewn about.
Old review: From one business owner to another: Either update your business hours, leave a note, or some form of communication if you’re not going to be open during your scheduled business hours. Stopped by on Wednesday at 1: 40PM and they were closed. Another patron was there looking to unload a few consoles.
I’ve seen that the owner responds to reviews on here, so you should be familiar with Google My Business, leave an update or something.
Edit same day: raised one more to three stars. The owner came back as I was leaving. The store air needs to be circulated in there. The combination of old consoles, workers, and boxes of stuff makes the air stale. Even leaving the door open would help a little bit. The store isn’t very unorganized, with the exception of the glass countertops. Controllers, power supplies, and misc A/V cables thrown about. There was a few boxes on the floor full of misc.electronics that could have been put away, but the shelves seem to be stocked in alphabetical order, so that looked good. Otherwise, the store looks like it was never updated when the store owner took it over in 2013.
Stopped in a few days ago. When I walked in, there was a woman slumped over in a chair in the middle of the store, As I got closer, there was a plate of food that was on the floor in front of her. I thought she was dead. I kind of panicked and left. I did see her walking when I drove by again about 20 minutes later. Can't say much for the game selection but it was an experience to say the least.
I was filmed by lorrel without my permission. I told them to stop and they kept filming and yelled at me saying "it's for a YouTube video"
Purchased a Xbox original for $350. This very enormous animal named Lorrel told me it was new and never opened but when I opened the box it was missing the controller and the inside of the console had about a pound of dust and worms. The environment of the store isn't family friendly either. I would rather shop at a nearby GameStop or a m&m games store. Do not waste your time here.
Retro game stores are always cool and meeting a YouTube star is even cooler! Be sure if they don’t have something on the shelf to ask if they have it in the back. I wanted “clu clu land” but it was with the box and he had way overpriced it, but if your ever in the area be sure to check it out, it’s becoming a some what of retro video game tourist location and a legendary place to locals alike due to the Aaron kosharsky lore on YouTube. It’s a experience your not gonna get from a corporate or chain business! Definitely worth at least one visit! Check it out!
The guy at the store named josh tried to unzip my pants so I ran and he chased me but fortunately he tripped over a retail sized box of roach repellant. Smells bad and didn't have a good time.
Owner was walking around in dirty socks. Thought he was on the phone but turns out he was just talking to himself. I was looking for an adapter for my console until I stepped on what I believe was a mayonnaise sandwich. I left when I started to feel itchy less than a minute into my visit. I went to best buy and got what I needed instead. Avoid unless you're a risk taker.
Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give them a shot. I came to the store during their posted business hours. Unfortunately it was not open so I can not give them more than 1 star since I drove across town for no reason.
