I'm not sure about the poor reviews. I lived in this complex from DEC 2018 to MAY 2019. I had absolutely no problems. If I needed something fixed or serviced in the apartment, it was tended to that very day or the next day. I was in flight school at the time and I recommend this complex to those arriving in Pensacola for flight school.

My husband and I live there 5 years 2 years later a 3 bed room until my daughter died. We then moved to a 2 bedroom my husband was a double amputee a veteran so when we moved they put in the cover cement type cement carpet. The carpet was horrible the carpet was put in in pieces in which unraveled every where the apartments are not handicap accessible in wich when we coughed up nearly4000 we were told they were. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 4 organs I called his son for help caring for him they refused to resign our lease because he was there mind you my husband weighed well over 200 pounds at this point due to his liver failure friiens from the church helped me move because at this point my husband was in the hospital dieing alone so I could get out on time after leaving they put a 2000 plus bill in my credit account with no explanation why they kept my security already saying it was for painting you can not win with them it did not even matter my husband passed away while I was moving

I lived there from 2009 to 2010 when I was stationed there. I would highly recommend it to other military members moving there. The only bad thing was they find anything possible to not give your deposit back. Nonetheless, the amenities were on point. I never had problems with cockroaches like Pines at Warrington. A few silverfish here and there but not an infestation. I slept better at these luxury apartments. I lost sleep at Pines at Warrington worrying about the cockroaches and I was also a full time student too. Village at Southern Oaks were extremely comfortable for me.

I lived here for 3 years. Loved it! Had no issues. Maintenance crew were really cool and took care of issues within a day. I had a problem with the A/C at one point during after hours and they had it up in no time. Really appreciated that. Office staff were really great too. Pricing was not bad at all and the apartments were really nice. Only real issues were with a couple of other residents (short lived), but not really an apartment problem. I recommend.

Misinformation about the application process. Several calls to office to keep the process ongoing. When we would call they would state that they needed some type of new information, each time leaving us to wonder why they waited for us to check on the application instead of just calling us. Then when we told them to forget about our application, I received an email stating that our application was denied. I’m not sure the legalities of them lying through email but, I had to email them back and waste more of my time on them so, this didn’t hurt me in another application.
Don’t waste your time. I should have just listen to the bad reviews on here. Would have saved me a weeks worth of a headache.

Living here was ok. I really liked the apartment I was in, facing the sunshine all day. After a year I needed more space and looked at a 3 bedroom, it was way too small and had a huge orange stain on it that they said I could just cover up. I decided not to stay there any further. I was a tenant that always paid my rent in advance and kept my apartment really neat and clean. When I left they kept my security deposit and claimed it was for nail holes in the walls and that a tiny 2 bedroom needed to be repainted. I left the apartment immaculate and a few nail holes are normal wear and tear. I will not allow anyone I encounter to stay there and be taken advantage of.
