Village Inn reviews
19Great old fashioned restaurant with great service and great food can't go wrong if your in the area stop in an get a great meal.
Nice place to go if you're unsure about what you exactly want. They have a little bit of everything to satisfy most palettes. Save room for pie. They have some of the best pie in the area.
Server viably showed distain when I asked for refill. She was also wearing an ankle monitor. Service had really gone down hill in the last several years.
This restaurant is not worth the money in anyway shape or form. There are a million restaurants in the area that are much cheaper and the food is better trust me!
The hostess complained every time someone walked in that she was so busy (doing nothing to be honest) and my waiter complained about getting up early for the last several days because he was on the opening schedule.
We ate yesterday had a Free pies, But the pie? Is taste old, we've had tried Village Inn before but not this place it was good not this one.
I'm not a pie crust fan but was recently gifted a Pumpkin Pie from here. I found myself eating the crumbs from the box. So flaky and light with a dense rich filling. Perfection, Happy Thanksgiving!
My mother and I eat here every week. The menu is an excellent variety of good old American comfort food-and the breakfasts are to die for! My only complaint is that service tends to be slow.
Love this place! Service is always excellent. Food comes out quick and hot. Great coffee and pie. I never understand why they don't have a line out the door all times of the day, so good!
Great customer service from hostess as well as a very attentive server. It was busy when i arrived but server was right there to take my drink order. Food was great and everything was at the right temperature. It's been a while since I was at Village Inn, but I'll be back based on today's experience.
Servers, kitchen crew without masks. Kitchen, guessing a cook, while departing through side exit and while passing my booth, coughed without covering mouth. Did same upon return and entering kitchen. Will never return. Will never recommend. Ignorance to the pandemic, lack of respect to customers is unacceptable, rude and unforgivable.
Horrible. Our waitress was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Couldn't even handle 4 tables. 3 tables were 2 people the people. The other was a family of 3,2 adults & 1 child.
The food is good.
I always enjoy visiting Village inn.
The manager Dean is the most rude, disrespectful, inappropriate person in that place. He have 0 respect and a terrible attitude. My afternoon in the restaurant today was completely awful.
Actually I am not the only one reporting this incident.
**UPDATE: I received a appropriate refund and upgraded my 1 star review. I am pleased with CS from both the restaurant and my delivery app.
I ordered 4 meals only 2 were 'right'. I ordered through a delivery service. The pot roast meal comes with mash potato and gravey, and I ordered as a second side that comes with it a extra mash potato. I got corn bread stuffing (which I didn't order) no Texas toast and 2 wimpy pieces of Roast Beef so hardly any Roast Beef not worth it for the price. The 2nd wrong meal was a chicken fried steak which comes with mashed potatoes and a second side. Ordered corn bread stuffing as my 2nd side but only received corn bread stuffing only. Poor service for delivery services, which is too bad cause the food is good if the order is right. It's not the drivers fault so I tipped appropriately. I'll re-review my stars if I receive positive results through my delivery app.
I go to Village Inn on 4th street north at least 2 times a week for breakfast in the afternoon.
Every time I go there it is a wonderful experience. Suzi is an excellent waitress.
She knows my order by heart and she is such a joyful person who brightens my day.
The food is always great and everyone there is kind and friendly.
It was very very early I and friend went for breakfast, the server was very cheerful and the food was great.the best peach pie in the world!
Unfortunately they are under staffed but that's what is happening right now. The waitress was very friendly and the breakfast was great
I ordered via Uber eats, but need to tell you all. Who ever cooked my eggs is excellent! That cook is one of the few that actually knows how to cook sunny side up correctly.
Service was fine got the chicken artichoke which is the best thing on the menu chicken was dry I like the sauce on the side I had to fight to get extra lemon sauce won't be back
Don't understand why when you ask for the English muffin to be toasted for my eggs benedict they put it on the flat top marinating in whatever s***'s on there soaking in the garbage and grease and then put the food on top. Once again now I will never go back there so disgusting.
Unfortunately I paid up front cuz I was in a hurry, otherwise I would have just sent it back.
