Village Pizza & Pasta reviews
16Tried this place while traveling. Nice place. Took a little time to get service but it was fine after that. The lunch specials are a good amount of food for the price. We had spaghetti and meatballs with soup (veggie and pasta e fagioli) and bread. The food was very good! I would definitely go more often if I was local.
Excellent service by the young lady that waited on us. Food came out quick and hot. Great dinner experience!
My boyfriend got sick from their chicken alfredo. The chicken was an odd texture but looked cooked, so he ate it. It smelled a little off to me but I couldn't place it with all the cheese. He woke up at 2am and at 6am and again at 9am to throw up and blast out the azz. Not a good time. Will never eat there again.
We’ve lived in Denver, Nashville and now Tallahassee. We’re always on the hunt for the best, most consistent, flavorful pizza and this is the best! Highly recommend!
Very low key restaurant, service was excellent. The food was very good but we ordered wine and the choices were limited and mediocre quality. Will come back!
We are just strolling around Village Square inn, and wanted to eat dinner and tried this Italian restaurant, and didn’t disappoint us. And here are some of the dishes we ordered, and we kinda loved everything! #grouper #salad #soup #pizza #alfredo
We’ve been here before and pizza was always great, but today it was way overcooked and lukewarm.
We look forward to this pizza every time we are in Tallahassee so we were very disappointed.
Excellent food. We had the lunch special ravioli which came with a salad and garlic rolls. My husband had the meat and I had the cheese. Excellent sauce. I had already started eating before taking the pic. We will definitely come back.
Second time we’ve eaten there, disappointed both times. Garlic rolls are terrible - hard with yellow sauce poured on top. Chicken Alfredo was good, nice portion size, but the meatball sub was the WORST I’ve ever had! Bland, full of fillers, no marinara (just a sprinkle of cheese on a cheap roll) and only two tiny meatballs! Cut in half! For $10. They wouldn’t dream of serving that nonsense to a hungry 200lb man and pass it off as a dinner dish!
For an $85 ticket (dinner for 4 plus drinks), throw an extra meatball in there! Waitress didn’t care, manager didn’t care, not going back again ️
Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were flavorful but the sauce overall was ok. The bread knots are good. 7.5/10
Really glad we found this family owned pizzeria while we passed through Tallahassee! The Bianca pizza is to DIE for! Great service! We'll be back next time we're in town!
I showed up 15 minutes before close to grab some food and go. They pollute with thre service and the food was ready quick and tasted great once I got home and ate it. They gave off a family style service like they care and want you to enjoy the food.
The ingredients on the pizza were fresh and tasted amazing. Daniel was awesome. The place inside was clean and I love the decorations. The important part is the food and as far as the pizza, it can’t get better than that. The garlic rolls were awesome. It’s our new go to pizza place. Definitely worth that 50min drive.
Our family has been twice now. The first time was Father’s Day at lunch, so it was crazy busy. Food was great but took a while understandably. Today we went for a late lunch/early dinner. Service was fantastic and the food was wonderful! The rolls, fried ravioli, and house made salad dressing were perfection. We followed up with lasagna and spaghetti which we also great. Even the chicken tenders for our daughter were hand breaded and delicious. We will definitely be back again!
Order was wrong, ordered a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza, I checked the order and it stated left half pepperoni and Jalapeño and right half cheese only. Pretty simple you would think but apparently not.
The penne alla vodka was amazing! Some of the best, if not the best, I’ve had in the south. I also got a slice of cheese to test out the pizza and it was delicious! NY style thin and crispy with zero flop! As a New Yorker stuck in south GA, I will definitely be traveling back to eat again.
