Villaggios Pizzeria, Newberry FL

Absolutely loved this small town pizzeria! If you love great service and affordable New York style pizza this is the place for you! From the awesome servers to the friendly owner this is the place for food in Alachua county! I travel for a living and have been to city's like Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City and this by far on the top on my list of pizzeria's that I would go out of my way to eat at!

Our first time. We were delighted with the flavors of our meals. The atmosphere of the place and the service are excellent.

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday. They had a HUGE assortment of pizza by the slice. I had chicken parmesan and meat lovers, and both were excellent. Great place in Newberry!

Amazing pizza amazing garlic knots for people who have a stomach like mine where garlic or red sauce don’t like me this hasn’t affected me at all I highly recommend this place to anyone if I could give y’all 10 stars I most definitely would

Always has the best atmosphere, staff is always friendly and welcoming. Just walking in, you know you’re going to have the best pizza in Alachua county. Every time we order pizza here we are blown away at how amazing it is! Villagios never disappoints

Its good nyc style pizza. I got a large pie with double pep, cheese bread, 12 garlic knots? (Well they called them garlic knots) and two cannolis. The one thing that was disappointed was that they did not fill the cannoli.it was only partially filled with a gap in it. And for $4.50 i felt cheated. I would go back and if i do I'm coming to mention that.

We were originally from NY but live in San Diego now. While visiting Florida someone took us for pizza at Villaggios saying it was good. It was the best pizza we have had since leaving NY many years ago. It was amazing. We had 7 people and had 5 orders of garlic knots Caesar Salad, Antipasto, giant size, 2 extra large special pizza and drinks all around. When I received the check I had to ask twice because it was under $50. The servings were so large we all took home doggie bags. They sell by the slice and serve hot and cold hero's as well as typical Italian food. It was so good we went again for slices at lunch. The service is friendly and quick. When they brought the pizza on large metal trays the plates were smaller metal plates instead of paper or glass which kept the food warmer, nice touch. Many of the people serving and the owner called the customers by name greeting with wild smiles. So many are repeat customers a very good sign. Being a NY'er and ex NY Cop we are a little snobby about our pizza but by far this is the best pizza and food you think you are are in NY. The owner from NY comes over and if invited sits down and makes you feel you are in his home sitting at his kitchen table. They have photos from all over NY. While the place might need a little facelift it is clean and inviting, the bathrooms are up to date and super clean. The place is not large but even with 7 they moved tables around and quickly seated us. It is in Newberry Florida but hearing some people talk they drive over 20 miles from South Gainesville to eat here often. The amazing food, great and friendly service at low prices make this a place you must try and I am sure you will become a regular. Don't miss this place. Walter and Ginny

OMG! Best food in an unexpected place. We are new to the area and really didn’t know what to expect from this little town. Delicious New York style pizza, great salad, and savory garlic knots yummmmmmm.

Love me some Villaggio's. They're Great! They get an easy solid five for consistently delicious old skool mom and pop New York style pizza. And those knots, my Gods!

While you could say they're not much to look at from the street, I'll say they're a textbook example why you don't judge a cook book by its cover. People Love them, parking lot's almost always full (the way you used to size up a place), and they're reasonable; I commend them for that. Easy to see they Love what they do.

One of the best pizza places I've ever been to! This is my go-to pizza place, I just wish they would deliver! Highly recommend trying them out, you will not be disappointed!
