Chris and Jay were absolutely amazing! Personality and service were everything! Hubby and I, food critics and absolute foodies, were very pleased with the Chilean Seabass, Tuna Tartare and the libations! Definitely going to visit again!

Whenever I go to Orlando, I try to make it a point to visit Vines Grille & Wine Bar. This last visit, however, was a severe disappointment. I wanted to bring two of my colleagues here when we were in town for a conference and it did not live up to past experiences or expectations. We ordered the Bruschetta a la Mozzarella, and while it tasted OK, the portion size for $15 was disappointing. It was three pieces of very airy crostini with a small amount of tomatoes and a sparse amount of cheese. If you're going to be that stingy with an appetizer, it had better be amazing, which it was not. One of my colleagues ordered a bison steak which was a special item that night, and the other ordered a NY Strip. They ordered the bison medium and the NY medium-well (not what you should do to a steak, but hey). But both of them came out very bloody and not how they ordered it. In fact, the center of the NY was reddish-purple. They both said the flavor was good, but if it's not cooked to order, then it's not right. They both declined an offer to throw it back on the grill, as that would have delayed dinner. As for me, I ordered the Traditional Pappardelle Bolognese. While the flavor was OK, the pasta was very over-cooked and falling apart.but the sauce was like watery soup. It was terrible, and after only a few bites I decided that I wasn't going to eat something that was unpleasant to eat. What's interesting is that after we ate there, I received an email from Open Table promoting their Magical Dining menu. Nothing was mentioned to us, but that would have been nice to know about. I was really embarrassed about the food quality when I had talked up the place to my coworkers. Given the size of our check, the quality should have been off the charts. I will probably give them one more shot, but if I have another experience like this, I'll be done.

Delicious food and great drinks! We had a small party from our office do happy hour and the team took great care of us. They made it easy and the service was all smiles and warmth. We'll definitely be back and hope to stay later so we can enjoy the live music that was setting up as we were leaving.

Went there for magical dining. Food was tasty but my chicken was raw. I was thinking they would bring me another plate since I barely ate it but they took my plate away n just went on with my dessert instead. I left hungry.

Stopped at Vines for lunch and had a really really great experience. Waygu sliders was the best sliders I've ever had and the staff was really great. Complimented the smooth inside vibe. Was looking to relax at a high class lounge while working on the go and this place definitely met my requirements and I got all my work handled with no disturbance. Maria made it a great experience all in all

We had the most unexpected incredible night here. The food was outstanding and the drinks were so delicious we could’ve stayed all night. Cherry was such an amazing server, she had us laughing all evening and took some truly great pictures of my husband and I. We will 100% be coming back and frankly wish we lived closer so this could be our regular spot.

Been here many times and always considered it one of the best places for cocktails and happy hour. It’s been awhile since we went and was disappointed upon returning. Their cocktail menu is half of what it used to be. Place was empty which it never used to be, always one of the busiest in town. No musician playing. Service was awful. Bartenders are clearly hired for their looks and are too busy chatting with each other. They got annoyed when asked about drink suggestions and really don’t know anything about bartending or spirits and drinks in general. Didn’t even know how to make basic cosmo when asked. Doubtful we’ll return or recommend to anyone.

Last night we went for the first time to experience the "Magical Dining" in this restaurant. I understood that these types of activities are used by restaurants in the area to promote themselves with local residents during the low season, that is, it is like doing a Free Tryal to encourage the citizens of Orlando to make these places their favorite place. Our experience was quite the opposite, a group of 5 people wanted to share this experience and it really couldn't have been worse. The server treated us as if we were poor people without resources, it took more than 30 minutes to bring us the salad that we ordered as an appetizer, the food that we ordered had a very good taste, but the price that we paid evidenced the $40 for dinner, since particularly me who ordered a "churrasco" they brought me a little less than half of what it should be, the salad was some leaves taken from a plastic supermarket container, the dessert was an ice cream and it was melted, not counting the Cheese Cake that seemed like those that were already about to be discarded. My message is for the owner, if you are going to participate in the "Magic Dinning" make sure they are magical experiences that make your consumers want to come back. In our case, we will never return, if this happens throughout the season, instead of gaining new consumers, you will lose many.

The food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful.
All of our entrées were delicious.
Our server, "2 stars Kevin, " as we called him, was very personable and FUN!
Also, Shawn made several appearances throughout our brunch and kept us laughing.
Ohhhhhh, and our beautiful tall hostess was the sweetest!
See you soon guys!

Bad service I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The hostess at the door with the blue hair was very rude, and threaten to cancel our reservations because our party of twenty wasn’t inside! It was pouring down raining. Then we sat down at 8: 30 but didn’t get our food til 11! Also order crab cake but they ran out smh. Poor service

Unfortunately, not going back to Vines for now. Main issue was the bar misleading prices and the quality of the drinks. My husband ordered a Manhattan while waiting for the diner, waiter asked him which bourbon he would like and gave some choices (without saying was an upcharge or which one was included in the price), chose a non-fancy bourbon, but the bill came at $16 for the drink and an upcharge of $12, of course plus the 20% mandatory tip, the drink final price was $34. I ordered a martini (menu price) $15, however I got charged $4 extra because she used Tito's vodka, nothing fancy, plus the 20%, Martini $23.
Servers and bartender were very nice, don't think is up to them to price the cocktails.
Dining room was extremely dark, and the live music suddenly stopped when we were having dinner, no background music either for 30 minutes.

The atmosphere is splendid! The food is amazing! The appetizers are dangerous because they are so good that you won’t be able to eat your dinner! Hands down one of the best and most unique restaurants I have been to in the Central Florida area. Definitely make reservations because it gets quite a bit of traffic and it isn’t that big of a place.

Cherry isthe absolute best host that i have ever encountered. She was very attentative and she constantly checked up on my self and friends needs without asking. Go to vines and ask for her. I will only come back of sheis working.

We went to Vine’s for the first time last night for Magical Dining. We had a very poor experience. The fried chicken was over cooked and dry. The service was very slow leaving our drinks empty several times. It was only the second night of Magical Dining and the restaurant was already out of the Cheesecake dessert leaving no dairy free options (which was a big reason we selected this restaurant). Then the bill came and we were overcharged and not the Magical Dining price. It was corrected but the experience was overall very poor. We will not ever go back.

Great place for happy hour meet ups! Have some very a unique take on some well known appetizer concepts and they do the right thing with providing complimentary non-alcoholic beverages to the designated drivers. Love the outside veranda! #vines #bar #grill #orlando #florida

I don’t normally write reviews but.

The good:   Atmosphere.check,   Nice jazz band.check.   Octopus app.check

The bad:   Server looks and acts like Professor Severus Snape,   except with shorter hair.   He didn’t even crack a smile when delivering an engagement cake to the table behind us. Enough said!

The ugly:   Ordered a $65 dollar Austrian Wagyu New York Strip Steak that was over cooked, tuff, and  not seasoned every well.   I don’t believe it was Wagyu!   Save your money.

Not a very pleasant experience. My BF and I wanted to try a new restaurant and he mentioned Vines. Since I’ve never been I said sure. Walked in and the ambiance was nice so we decided to stay. Our waitress was extremely disheveled almost like she was on some form of drugs or something. Couldn’t answer any questions properly, extremely forgetful and seemed lost about what was on the menu. We ordered the Fried Chicken and the Char. The fried chicken was extremely oily and flavorless and the Char was so overdone it felt like I was eating a beef jerky. When she came back to take our barely eaten plates we told her that the food wasn’t very good it all tasted stale. She looked us in the face and said “yeah that’s what happens when you come to a restaurant close to closing time. The food doesn’t really taste as good”. We ALWAYS have date night closer to closing time at numerous “upscale” restaurants in Orlando and that’s NEVER been an issue. Needless to say we will never come back. First and Last time.

Great service, great atmosphere but the food was mediocre at best. My bill (for myself) was $100 and the steak wasn’t great. My whipped potatoes tasted mostly like mayo. The side salad that came with the steak wasn’t very good either. The food definitely lacked flavor. I expected my $64 steak and $15 potatoes to be amazing. I’ve had better meals at outback and Olive Garden. I do not think I will go back.
