Well this hasn’t gone well. We booked a cabin and wasn’t told that it’s right above an entertainment room so every night our room shakes from the vibration. We asked if we could be moved and they told us that they didn’t have any rooms of our size but could put us in a smaller room and give us a $200 credit towards our next voyage. So we would be in a smaller room but at a larger room cost
So we’re just trying to just survive the noise. The customer service is very subpar

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.
INCREDIBLY unorganized cruise company.

We booked a cruise for March of 2024 with 7 other couples. Due to supply chain issues, one of their boats wasn't ready, and cruises got shuffled around.
While rebooking us, they messed up our paperwork and by the time we got ahold of someone, the new cruise we chose was full except for 1 room that was a higher tier than the one we chose and they wouldn't let us rebook it with our same cost, even though it was their mistakes and they had all these other rebooking promos. Everyone else from our party was rebooked, except for us.
We ended up canceling our cruise and decided to get refunded. It's been 3 months now, and we have yet to receive our money back.

Update: they were issuing payment back to the incorrect card number, and it's now been 4 months, and they still haven't given the refund.

I am beyond excited that I picked Virgin Voyages to set sail on with my loved ones. Everyone was so accommodating, knowledgeable on how to assist, and just genuinely happy to be there to help. The food was beyond superb. A special shout out to Oscar the Charmer (truly a charmer), Paublito (A+ on service), Sam (that taught me how to dance to a Back Street boys’ song), Marvelous from Gunbae - Korean BBQ (who taught us that super fun drinking game and wined and dined us until we almost popped of joy, The Diva…. And honestly to every single person who works on the “Scarlet Lady” whom made our stay so so so very special. Till next time!

Just completed our Virgin Voyage Scarlet Lady’s Dominican Daze with my travel group of 11 people. A big shoutout to the staff & manager at The Wake who took great care of our private room dining on Dec. 12th. Memorable staff also include Patrick from Test Kitchen, Pink Agave (Rhomfel), Razzle Dazzle (Stephon) and saving one of the best for last - the crew at On The Rocks: Sara, Agos, Ruffi, and Crystal. They were amazing!

One of the best experiences of my life was taking a Virgin Voyages cruise! The atmosphere, entertainment, FOOD, and staff were all absolutely wonderful! The cabins are spectacular, the ship is clean, everything is so picture worthy! I cannot wait for my next adventure with Virgin! I highly recommend to everyone!

Seas the Day. Feelin nauti. These were cute little sayings on our wristbands. No card to hold onto which was a nice change from other cruises.
We sailed the Valiant Lady in the French Daze & Ibiza Nights leaving Barcelona and going through Marsielle, Cannes, Palma & Ibiza. An incredible journey!
The app and instructions leading up to the cruise was fun, instructional & had such personality!
The ship was wonderful with little cozy places to sit, eat, play games and sight see. The ship was also a bit small and a bit lack luster compared to other cruises we’ve been on. Only one pool which was not made for swimming but lounging around and few hot tubs a bit bigger than my bathtub at home. The best part of the cruise was the food!
Extra Virgin was delicious! Hannah from Ukrainian was amazing. Very sweet and knowledgeable.
The Test Kitchen & Extra Virgin are tied for number 1 for us. Extra Virgin had slightly better food. But Test Kitchen was quite an experience. We had the privilege of getting to try both A & B menus. The Test Kitchen puts one in for a treat! Where else can you try wasabi and strawberries put together? ! Or asparagus ice cream!?
Nelly from the Test Kitchen is fabulous! Loved her energy and that she remembered me while I was in other places on the boat. Thank you for your knowledge on amazing food and for your sweet smile!
The Wake had great calm chowder! A bit more of Fine Dining.
Razzle Dazzle - Sebastian was so friendly and sweet! The food was pretty good. The cauliflower was delicious and the atmosphere was fun.
Pink Agave was the least favorite. Food was okay. Service was a bit slow.
Gunbae Korean BBQ - what an experience! We had such a fun table with some fellow ship mates. We played a drinking game and ate good BBQ. The short rib was fantastic.
Dockhouse mediterranean cuisine was amazing! The shrimp and octopus was incredible! We ate our way through a handful plates of shrimp. More than we should have. No regrets!
Cameron, part of the art & crafts, sure can tell quite a story! He has a great personality and had some fun craft ideas!
The alcoholic drinks were not a great deal but we did get the $600 bar tab which was nice! We ended up spending all our bar tab so the last day was out of pocket.
The Scarlet Night was fun and exciting! Happy accident I brought a red dress cause I didn’t know about scarlet night until a few nights before.
The tattoo parlor on board was a nice little surprise! We did get tattoos the last night of the cruise. The are more expensive then they really should be. I got two small tattoos of which I had to pay for both separately. It took less than 5 minutes for ink and paid close to $500. Just be warned it can be quite expensive to get inked aboard but it is quite a fun token to take home with you.
In conclusion…The boat was a bit small and wished there was a bit more to do on it. Didn’t feel like there was very many shows and there was a price for room delivery of food even coffee which was a bummer. However, We would sail with Virgin again! The adults only, was wonderful and the food incredible! Service was fun and nice to get to know so many amazing individuals. The balcony room with the hammock was lovely and quite roomy. It was a wonderful vacation and I feel the cruise line took great care of us with the shuttles from the ports in land and really all the thoughtfulness that went into the boat and the itinerary was not missed. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Ruined my husband's 50th birthday! We booked our cruise on the Valient Lady - Rockstar Cheeky Corner Suite 10 Months prior to on boarding. Our destination was canceled giving us 4 months to scramble to find another vacation destination. I took the option to receive a refund. I called 3 times within a month before I requested to speak to a manager. Every time I called I was told the same thing "your refund was processed today, it should take 7-10 business days". I'm more disappointed of the lack of communication within the Virgin Voyages staff and customers more than anything. I understand things happen but it's very frustrating when myself and a few family members had to call several times to get refunded.

So far - Meh. We have a voyage booked but my wife was injured between when we booked and now. They wanted to charge us 20% of the original cost of the cruise to downgrade our room to an accessible shower. And the accessible room is cheaper than our original room on-line at this very second. "Black Friday" sale they said. And the phone service has been extremely rude so far. Here's to hoping it gets better and that my wife doesn't die in a non-accessible shower.

Well will not ever be using them. Had a cruise booked for Jan they not me canceled. Got an email saying due to port changes and a ship not being ready. I understood things happen you can’t foresee. But they are refusing to refund my money I paid for travel insurance.my travel agent told me in these situations other lines will.was about 200 dollars… so all do this time wasted planning a cruise and money I will not get back. They also per my travel agent have been challenging to work with and she is considering not even offering them is my impression. I had a different line cancel when covid started and I know I got my insurance back with no issue and was easier process. I was thinking about going with them in the future but not after I see how they handle issues.

If you're debating about booking, just don't do it or prepare for a battle. Virgin Voyages canceled our trip in 2024 and offered 100% refund or rebook the trip.
They don't provide a refund for the Virgin Protection (Travel Insurance) which is round $500, even though cancelling the trip wasn't my fault and they are falsely advertising 100% refund for their mishap.

I have had many emails and phone calls with customer service and they told me to submit a claim to Aon, which got denied. Just wanted to warn people. I won't ever book a trip with them again.

Thanks for cancelling my trip and taking my money.

Horrible experience in every way! Office completely incompetent, and looks surprised Every time you ask them a question, also, do not provide accurate answers or directions ever. Ship is extremely disorganized, and there are no views of the front of the ship, which even carnival has for double the price of most cruise lines you're not getting more bang for your buck, room service options are very limited and delivery is slow and you have to pay for it. Call dinner reservations will be fully booked by the time you're bored, some people are good at using the app so if you don't know, he will starve or have to eat pizza, which is probably the most edible thing on board. Extremely exhausting vacation, not relaxing at all. Extremely stressful.room was too small and amenities are basically nonexistent. They lost and damaged two of my items, the only two items in their custody. So if you have the option to bring things off board with you, do that. The food is inedible for the most part. I was able to walk in to some of the restaurants and I had to wait 45 minutes to even get the first course which was extremely underwhelming. Even the ice cream tastes bland The water is not good. You're not going to listen to my advice and go on one of these horrible cruises, be smart, and bring your own bottles of water.overall a colossal waste of money and time. Never been happier to get back home will not ever be returning on a virgin voyage cruise. It is very clear Richard Branson is not at the helm of this, and just slapped his name on some subpar cruise service, most likely based out of Philippines. I've been on 20 cruises in my life, some of them even carnival, and all of which were better. Save yourself the trouble and do not book a virgin voyage. Even if the rockstar level you will not have a good experience, and will be extremely disappointed with the staff, service, ship. Virgin ruined my vacation.

Standing Line for an hour at Barcelona Pier. Anything BUT expedited. VIPs should have their own line. Disappointed.

Virgin Voyages commenced it's first paying guest cruise in August 2021. No one would expect a new cruise line to be a well-oiled machine on day 1. However, while Virgin's concept and overall strategy are truly amazing, There are still a lot of kinks that still need to be addressed.

Concept: I loved the concept and value proposition Virgin presents on its cruise line. Some of these are no kids, no "traditional" timed dining, no hard sell or "add-on push" employee engagement, app-driven, allowing for cell phone controlled guess experience, and environmentally focused.

Pre-Cruise Transportation: You can coordinate with the cruise ship on airport pickup or pre-excursion airport pickup and terminal drop-off. The issue I saw with this process was the lack of representation at the airport. There was no signage. The person I met at the airport was the excursion operator but not a cruise line representative.

Rooms: We never go with the Suite packages. I like understanding how most cruisers experience the cruise, so we had a Sea Terrace room. Overall, I loved the room (pictures attached). Some things could be more functional, but overall, it worked. The stateroom attendance does need to do a better job of introducing guests to the room and how it works.

Pre-Trip Info: When we boarded, we had no clue there were NO plastic water bottles sold or distributed on the ship. The only way to carry around water would be to get a glass of water or bring your own reusable water bottle. While I love the concept, they did NOT do a good job conveying this before the cruise. We had to buy 2 "Resilient Lady" reusable water bottles on board.

Food: Amazing. I am a foodie. I have traveled the globe eating at dozens of Michelin-star restaurants. I also love to cook as well. This was by far the best thing about this ship.

Beverage/Spirits: Major Shortfall. I was repeatedly told, "That wine is not available. " They have these lists of alcohol and wine all over the ship, but often, they don't have what's on the menu.

Additional Negatives:
• #1 failure of the cruise line – Sanitation. It was rare to see anyone wiping things down. Often, the sanitizer stations were an afterthought. Of course, the results – well, if you watch the news, they recently had an outbreak on Scarlett Lady. This is because they don't make it a priority.
• Leadership is not present. You can't figure out who is actually running things. After digging, I can tell you that Leadership typically wore golf shirts, and staff wore tee shirts. However, I had some major issues and finding leadership was impossible. It would be nice if a leadership board showed who was running the ship or they held a mixer introducing guests to meet the leadership. I have no idea who was even driving the ship.
• Hours of Operations – the hours listed on the materials are not always accurate. It depends on the ship schedule.
• There is no way to convert money or even bet money! They apparently have two ATMs on the ship – one of which wasn't working the 2 times I tried to use it.
• Toiletries. The toilet paper was terrible. It was like recycled cardboard.
• Cross Training. The Galley had a member in one of their stations out sick. The person replacing her had no idea what he was doing. Apparently, they don't have backups or cross-train people, which adds confusion and poor service.
• Disembarkation day. They need to open breakfast early. The disembarkation excursion getting you to the airport left at 7: 30am. Breakfast didn't open till 7am. They need to open breakfast up at 6am on disembarkation days.

ILL START WITH BAD: The main problem is Virgin charges too much for what you get, or what they CLAIM YOU GET (I'll detail, read on). Been on lots of cruises and for half the price you can get just as good (if not better) a ship, food, and service. No kids is nice, but not worth paying double. They claim they have no buffet. It's a lie. The galley is a buffet. Period. They say you get free wifi. You do but it's garbage until you upgrade. They gave us a $600 bar tab. But failed to mention all drinks are taxed at 10%. So the tab was really $540. There is zero reason they can't include in the price. They claim their drink prices are better than other cruise lines. And they are until they stab you with 10%. They claim they have no formal night. But they have something worse. It's a red scarlet night and you aren't in red you are shamed. They claim all tips are included.and they are but at a serious rate when you compare apples to apples pricing. For my money, Royal Caribbean blows Virgin away even after you pay tips and wifi. Next the valiant ladies hot tubs are small, few and far between, and have no jets. Only a couple small pools too. Room service.they stick you with a delivery fee.yup. Cage transactions, they charge 7%, to put money in your bank if you want it off a credit card. Table rake fee was 5% for a table with a virtual dealer. Yup. Finally (before I get to good) they had a tender process to go ashore and required you to make a reservation. Problem was it sold out quick and those left over trying to get on.the process was chaotic and unfair. Okay now for the good, but again you are paying way more than other lines. Food, service, and rooms were excellent! Really nice spaces to hang out.

I had the pleasure of going on the Valiant Lady in September for a week doing the French Daze and Ibiza Nights cruise. I've been on a few different ships but have to say this far exceeded my expectations and the best by far. As soon as we got off the ship, we booked another for next year. The entertainment team were amazing, big shout out to The Charmer the magician. Spectacular the restaurants were Simply delicious Extra Virgin was our favourite followed closely by The Wake, Gunbae and Test Kitchen. The spa was enjoyable. Scarlet Night was so much fun, everyone dresses in red and they have a mass pool party. Added bonus was, it was, adults only. Free WiFi on-board, free soft drinks, alcohol reasonably priced. Worth buying a bar tab (although most deals now come with this included) I cannot fault anything about this ship and still buzzing from the whole experience.

WORST CRUISE LINE EVER! We are supposed to be leaving next week for a two week "make up" cruise because our first one had so many issues.

We haven't even left and they have screwed up our upgrade! It's been 3 days and countless hours on the phone. We can't get the same answer twice! It's been 3 days since they messed up and we can't seem to find anyone within the company who cares.

Nobody actually cares about helping you or making sure everything is ok once they receive your money!

I am aboard The Resilient Lady on Virgin Voyages for the Greek Island Glow. I feel like I am royalty. This is my first time traveling with Virgin Voyages but not my first time cruising. I feel blessed beyond measure. I must give a shout out to my favorite waiter Muarman! He put up with us 4 ladies giving him a hard time tonight in the Extra Virgin restaurant. We all enjoyed his sense of humor and he made the experience that much better!
