Virginia Park Apartments, Fort Pierce FL

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Roaches galore even if “pest control” comes. They’re inconsistent and don’t come when needed to keep up with. If you have more than 1 car good luck finding parking space in the complex. All parking spaces get filled by 8pm and if you park in the grass the police that lives inside the complex will ticket you. Managements response to this issue was to park outside the gate next to the road. Leaving your car vulnerable to anything. The pool is closed weekends and anytime management is not on the property and the police that lives here will tell you to leave the pool area during these times. The garbage piles very high and we are constantly placing garbage outside the dumpster it gets very bad and gross. The floors were done horribly and seemed to have been attached with Elmer’s glue since after mopping a few times they loosen up and can easily be felt as you walk over the loose areas. This place is not worth your sanity or money.

This place has gone downhill and become an absolute NIGHTMARE!

There is an officer that lives on property who makes it his business to patrol what his “neighbors” are doing and making it feel like a community prison! Several people have reports on him and it just doesn’t seem to be enough for the property corporation to open their eyes and realize the inconvenience it is causing people to have to endure. He acts like he owns VIRGINA PARK RESIDENCE and it’s sick, children are being deprived of the pool which to mention is the only fun thing they really have to look forward too since there’s no “play area/playground” on the property!

PARKING
Parking has become a disaster as the property management has come up w a new “parking system” which seems to be another thing that’s working against the community. Literally towing vehicles that are registered and parked in the assigned spot given the day you sign lease and move in. May I include the officer mentioned above patrols the place and personally calls to report each vehicle so PLEASE BE CAREFUL ONCE MAKING A DECISION TO MOVE HERE!

I am Hispanic and spouse is not, so many neighbors have expressed to us that it seems to be discrimination ongoing and I’m starting to visually see it for myself. If you are of non Hispanic decent and have been on a waiting list for a place here good luck it seems as though you have to speak Spanish to get in now and I do not agree!

Living here has been an amazing experience! It’s safe, it’s gated, it’s close to everything, & it has a pool w: tennis courts! The neighbors are also great! My family and I have been here for almost 6 years and our little one plays outside with his friends every single day. The property manager is incredible! She is easy to work with, fast, efficient, reliable, helpful, and most of all, understanding! Unfortunately due to rising costs the rent is too high, but that’s a problem everywhere, and it shouldn’t affect the overall living experience. The units are very nice with tons of space, BIG washer & dryer, back porch, walk-in master closet, huge bathrooms, and a very efficient kitchen. Also there is the option for very cheap, but VERY fast WiFi for each unit under $40 per month!
