15Beautiful here been visiting since i was a child and now im a dad and bring my family love it here
I am not into nature or springs where there are no lifeguards on duty, and signs of possible Alligators swimming in the springs. It's technically their own backyard.
Awesome.
Beautiful.
Peaceful.

Great place to share with family and friends
I loved this State Park. Great place to spend the day. You can BBQ or have a picnic or you can always buy food at their Cafe and enjoy it under a shady tree. The water is very cold though. You need to bring a noodle as the water is pretty deep. If you don't bring one the gift store Sells them for $3. You can also rent a kayak or Inter tube on their lazy river. Great place to take your family for the day. The entrance fee is only $2 per person.
Excellent place. But very deep and without lifeguard security, the edges have a lot of vegetation and the platform has a lot of silt. I love its water and the sidewalks
Cool waters, lots of water activities. Just a bit crowded so get here early to get in the park.
The state is ripping itself off only charging $2 per person. It's a great natural resource that deserves protection. Ranger at the admission booth was quite gruff on a Wednesday. A better selection of Tshirts in the gift shop would be appreciated.
Rainbow River State Park. Beautiful and refreshing. Multiple springs with kayak and canoe rentals. Gift shop showcases otters and other things found in nature. Reasonable prices and only 2 dollars to enter the park. Plenty of parking too.
We arrived early and the kids jumped into the water. They were in for about 10 minutes when the an alligator was spotted just outside the swim buoy. We spent the rest of the day walking the trails and visiting with folks. The gator kept us all at bay while we waited for a trapper to show up. We enjoyed seeing the old trails that once housed a small zoo and waterfalls which provided entertainment for all who visited.
The water falls are so beautiful people travel out of state to sew views like this and it's right in our back yard go check it out is beautiful.
For only $2.00 one can walk around the beautiful tranquil trails. Perfect weather for 3 mile walk. Its so gorgeous you don't know how many steps your walking and it adds up quickly! Right now with the lowest water level I have seen in years all the waterfalls are dried up but the beauty in nature is incredible. It wld be nice to see the area where they once housed the small zoo cleaned up and transformed into something. I get it, it takes money and donations.there is also swimming, kayak rentals. A good family time!
Rainbow springs is a beautiful state park with waterfalls, wildlife, swimming and so much more.
Rainbow springs, Florida was a really nice State Park. Walk around trails and see waterfalls and swimming area.
This is where you are first greeted. You may ask any questions about the park. We also have a campground that is not located on this park property. The retail store has noodles and other neat items for those that like stuff. The store is not open all the time. The concession stand is not open all the time. Enjoy your Visit to Rainbow Springs Park in Dunnellon, Florida!
