My mother passed away on June of 2022. I was advised her plaque would take up to 12 months to receive because it was produced out if the USA. I went to Vista yesterday and met with Wanda. Wanda is a outright liar. After 16 months I found out by Wanda my mothers plaque was produced locally in Miami. So lie #1. Wanda also advised me yesterday that the reason my mother's plaque was delayed was due to the manufacturer having to recall 100's of plaques for poor bronze they used and they were turning black. I found out who there manufacturer is and called them. The reason Wanda gave me was lie #2. The real reason my mother's plaques was never delivered and installed after sitting at the manufacturer's warehouse for about 10 month's is for lack payment. Furthermore; the manufacturer advised me they have approximately 500 plaques sitting at there warehouse complete but do not deliver to Vista due to no payments received. I confronted Vista and once they saw I knew the real reason they immediately installed my mothers plaque the very next day. Bottom line is Vista is collecting family members money for plaques and not paying for them and meanwhile lieing to family members. If your love one has not had there plaque installed it is very likely it is due to lack of payment on Vista side to the manufacturer. Vista needs to be investigated and audited. They are liars! They are taking advantage of families at their most vulnerable times. I will be reporting them to the funeral cemetery consumer services with all the details and follow up to be sure this gets handles accordingly.

I’m so appreciative and grateful to the entire team for their support and kindness during this hard time. To the Funeral director in charge, Stephanie R Hernandez, and Jennifer Socarras, there are no words to express my appreciation. The entire team was wonderful… but these two ladies were OUTSTANDING. The memorial service brought us peace. Words cannot express our sincere appreciation for your extraordinary assistance in coordinating the funeral during this emotional time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I love the place, this is my father's resting place, quiet, peaceful, too much construction always going on, but management does make it comfortable for us drivers to find our way around. 22 years visiting dad almost every Sunday, nice place to call the final resting place.

Very appreciative and grateful to the entire team for their kind support during this emotional time, especially the Funeral director, Stephanie R Hernandez and Jennifer Socarras, who were absolutely OUTSTANDING in assisting with making the arrangements a smooth process. My family was able to find peace with the service and we are forever grateful.

We were burying a close friend. Her husband was crying on her casket, screaming her name, and the guy in charged pulled him off and said we need to bury her. Not cool. Let him cry! The person in charge didn’t let us know when we could throw flowers in her grave. They just told everyone to move out of the way and a bull dozer comes through and drops a concrete slab in, almost crushing flowers reserved for later, and drops a load of dirt in her grave. They put three loads of dirt in, and then the bulldozer packs the dirt down, hard, loud. Totally inappropriate! As if we’re on a construction site. It was so disrespectful. This was someone precious and needed to be done with a gentle touch. Give people a warning what’s about to go down, or save that for later when everyone has left. As if the scenario wasn’t terrible enough, It was so awful, loud, and just horribly handled. I would never recommend this place for a loved one. It was just a business for them.

Cemetery grounds close at 3pm ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Well established memorial center should be open 24/7 with a security attendant so that one can visit loved ones without these time restrictions.

This place is horrible. ZERO compassion for families at the time of making funeral preparations. Very RUDE staff. We dealt with them only because we had no choice. They treat it like a pure business and will not do a single thing for you unless they will make money from it or they are forced to contractually. It also takes more than a year to get a tombstone, even after paying for it in full. They should not be running a cemetery.

We went to visit the site where my husband was placed in 2004. I was very upset, as I found only 6 eternal lights working in the entire section. When purchased, I was told these lights were ETERNAL. I called to make a complaint and the lady asked for the name of my husband and she would have maintenance take care of it in 2 weeks. I told her it wasn't just the light for my husband that needed to be replaced, it was all the lights that are not working. I live in Georgia now, and not able to visit frequently, as before, so who knows how long these lights have been neglected?

Otherwise the cemetery is taken care of nicely.

My aunt is buried here with her husband. I visited today to find they removed a name plaque I had to purchase because vista has still not provided the one that we paid for. Disrespectful to remove that from a grave and place in trash. They don’t bother to box it up for the family.

Worst place ever to bury a loved one. I am going to place this on all social media.

Burial of my mother was done beautifully and she has a lovely spot. They were very professional and I was pleased.

The burial went well. But after I ordered the bronze marker for my fathers grave. Which was in July last year a few weeks after the burial. They said it would take 6 to 8 months because of delays. Well it will be one year next month. Ive called every few months to check for status. Family in person has also inquired. Like a recorded robotic message. They repeat the same script. No one researches the progress or delay of order. Do not order your bronze marker from them. Avoid the hassle.

I must say during our most difficult time and even having our loved ones final resting request done in advance, the attention, compassion, and care that was given to us was just wonderful. Stephanie the director, along with the entire staff made everything much better and at ease during those days. I greatly appreciate your time and understanding from the bottom of my heart.

On March 15,2023, Ronald Sammario assisted me with my familiy services, and was helpful and courteous; He made sure that I had all the information up to date and answered all my questions and calculated some information when it was the other departments job; he went beyond and above and I am very satisfied with the attention that was given to me. I would highly recommend Ronald Sammario.

Went to find my brother's grave in a Sunday. There were no maps of the plots. The lady working the front desk was no help because she was a volunteer. She was nice but couldn't help except to say come back on Monday. We are from out of town.

It has been almost 2 years since my mother passed away, and she still does not have her headstone after it has already been paid for. I've called, I've been in person, I contacted on facebook, I emailed. Nothing.

When I went in person months ago, they told me there's a granite shortage. A two-year granite shortage? People are getting granite countertops for a kitchen no problem, but for a headstone, there's a multiple year shortage? If you don't have a product, don't sell it, and don't promise it if you can't deliver. And don't take people's money if you know you aren't going to provide the service. When you are paid for a product and service, and you don't provide, that is considered theft. You are stealing from people who are in the depths of grief and suffering from the loss of a loved one.

I was initially told there would take 6-9 months, and now we are going on two years. They never reached out to me that there would be a delay, and they had no intention of notifying me either. I only found out from going there in person since no one answers the phone or responds to messages.

Get your headstone for your loved one elsewhere. You don't need additional grief; you're going through enough already.

Avoid this place at all cost.

Can’t leave any pictures, notes, or flowers unless you buy the vase or small frame directly from vista. Their reasoning is because people leave a mess. Give me a break. Hire more people, figure it out. You’re messing with peoples loved ones and not allowing people to grieve. Instead you nickel and dime people. It’s disgusting!

Update: plaque arrived 10 months after burial. Also, I won’t be able to visit my abuelo if these ppl don’t invest into some quality infrastructure. The whole grounds is falling apart.

My uncle funeral was unprofessional and we were not allowed to have over night viewing. The day of the burial we were not allowed to see him and say our last goodbye. If you are of catholic faith don't bring your family member here.
