This is an amazing and little known asset for the great community of Punta Gorda.

A great place to take art classes. The teachers (for the most part) are really friendly and encouraging and very talented. I'm learning alot. I've taken several classes and enjoyed all but one. Will def sign up for more!

Enjoyed the life and figure drawing open studios and portrait drawing classes in the past.

Very uplifting experience like none other. Such friendly staff from the time the doors came open. Its definitely a stop worth its weight in gold. A must have / bucket list type of experience.

If you are looking for some good stuff, visit the place! There are a lot of classes for all ages and interests. Wonderful little pieces at the gift shop and great exhibitions.

I have been here several times in the last week. Lisa is absolutely amazing and wonderful to work with! We highly recommend it as a venue for any event you may have!

A friend and I are taking a watercolor class at the VAC. We have absolutely no experience with art, so I'm sure our teacher, Mairin Wilson, sometimes wonders what she signed up for. But she is super patient with us and makes the class fun, and we have learned a LOT. Bonnie at the reception area is very welcoming and friendly. She is so enthusiastic about what we are doing in class and about everything going on at the center. She is such an asset to the VAC. She could get anybody excited about anything. The exhibits are amazing. They have very talented artists here. I have always had an appreciation for art, but after taking the watercolor class, I am blown away by what watercolor artists do. If you're thinking of taking any kind of class here, whether you have any experience or not, do it!
