Volusia County Tax Collector reviews
16I sat there for 45 minutes waiting they didn't message my phone they didn't come over and poke me on the shoulder it's real nice that they get my attention to tell me they have to recycle my number unprofessional as can be
Always have a great experience here! Carol, the clerk at check-in is extremely kind and informative! I no longer dread getting my needs taken care of at this city office because she makes me feel at ease. Everyone in the back at their stations is very helpful too and kind as well.
My registration and tag sticker was “lost” in the mail. Now I have to physically go into an office during a pandemic to get a replacement. I accidentally ran a toll on the B line two months ago and they had no problem sending me a bill that safely reached my address. Kinda funny eh? No it’s not
After making me go get an Odometer check resigned by the vehicle seller, I watched the manager walk up to a clerk, ask her how she missed a signature on a title, and told her to just sign it for them. Break the law when its convenient, but if you have the date 8 places correct, and the 9th is hard to read you have to come back. Get of your power trip you weirdos.
I have never had to wait more than a few minutes, and have always received knowledgeable, courteous service. I really don't understand the negative comments, unless those commenters are privileged and deserve better service than us ordinary folks.
They are polite, efficient and are doing all the social distancing procedures. There's a worker outside helping everyone who comes to check in. They seem compassionate to the fact that people are waiting.
Stacy helped us with tags, title and registration. She was awesome.polite, efficient and really knows what she's doing.
What a pleasant surprise! I was checked in 15 minutes before my appointment, spent two minutes waiting, and then I was able to go inside. Within five minutes, I had my new registration. The clerk was very pleasant and efficient. A five star experience all around.
Unorganized, complete lack of communication skill set and that’s before you even get in the front door. They have someone outside attempting to assign numbers, but no system in place.
Clerks have terrible attitudes. No going above and beyond. Don't even want to perform job. Can't and won't are two different things. Clerks choose won't not can't when essentially just don't WANT TO PERFORM THEIR JOB. I would rather go to outside tag agency. Better service is worth the additional fees.
In my 4 years in NSB I have always had a great experience when I’ve been here. The last time it was maybe 20 minutes from in to out and the woman at the information counter told me to have a great day and thanked me for my patience. No patience needed.lol
You're taking appointments only due the corona, that is fine.but no need to be rude to customers when they call.
The experience of helping my parents to get their “disabled veteran” tag was surreal. The clerk was rude, condescending and just down right unprofessional.
There needs to be a way to report this to the county. Some sort of IG (inspector general).
Quick, efficient, friendly service all around. They don't make you sit long, and the people working the desk are kind and helpful.
Terrible place, all they care about is taking your money and making you feel dumb for not knowing certain aspects of the tag/title laws/ rules and if you ask any questions they tell you to go online
I'm not even going to go into it it would just be kind of productive and I'm sure everybody already knows
Sometimes there's a wait, it depends on what time of day and the month. However they're friendly and helpful folks trying to take care of you in the best way they can.
No one's perfect so don't be rude, the folks working there are very helpful.
