VyStar Credit Union reviews
15I am so happy to be a long-standing VyStar customer. Recently my card was hacked and I got security alerts via email, call and text instantly. There was no issue with the stolen funds (which I have experienced with other banks) and I was able to come to this branch and quickly get a new card the same day. I also love that VyStar supports our community and the Jacksonville Humane Society in particular! #OneHappyCustomer
Stayed in Drive thru 30 minutes. One person working it. Only 5 cars 2 lanes, Vystar needs to hire more drive thru associates to accommodate customers.
I open an account at VyStar at Jacksonville Beach a few weeks ago and was disgusted The two employees were walking around the lobby with no masks on and the person whose desk I had to sit across had a very poor fitting mask. I did complain and someone from corporate called me. So today after moving to town, I went into the one in Ortega, the person ahead of me in line had his mask under his nose. The teller that waited on me is mass kept slipping off and she just kept pushing it back up again. But tell her sitting next to hers mast fits so badly and was slipping off the tip of her nose. This is ridiculous and was slipping off the tip of her nose. This is ridiculous.
We arrived on a Saturday at 9: 57am and texted as directed by the signs. We were directed to go to the drive through line marked closed. Another vehicle was in front of us and we waited 25 minutes before the other vehicle moved.all the other lanes serviced customers while we waited. We asked by text a few times what the expected wait time was and received very curt unfriendly responses.
I was having some issues with another branch (DUNN AVE) so I went to headquarters and the manager made some phone calls then directed me to this location because the actual branch at the headquarters was closed that day, and to speak with Mellisa Boykins. First of all Mellisa was waiting on me. She listened to me and didnt judge me she gave me no where near the problems I had dealing with the Dunn Ave branch she was happy to help me, and she did it with compassion and a smile. I will forever be grateful. It was nice to meet such a lovely young lady. Thanks Mellissa.xoxo.
Just horrible every since the inside shut down you are obviously forced to drive through. My first couple times were fine until I waited 30 minutes in line after I sent my transaction tickets and deposit watched two car that clearly pulled up after me leave. I called to see what the hold up was. All I got was a generic apology and my receipts coming down.still did not get an explanation, and all of my transactions were very basic
Usually I have no problem with my bank. Until the past few weeks when I've been forced to use the drive thru. Today was the worst. It took an hour to move 6 cars. This is ridiculous. I'm using the ATM from now on. I can't deal with you people anymore.
In an attempt to be added to an account, we've made multiple trips to accomplish the same goal with no success. Workers contradict each in provided next steps and are smug about it. If you value your time, I would visit another location or business.
I came into VyStar a few days ago dealing with a lot of personal issues and needing assistance. I met with Rashelle Taghlabi and my experience with her is one that I will never forget. Rashelle went above and beyond to assist me with the things that I needed to get done. Not only did she provide a solution for the personal matter I am dealing with she recognized a financial need that she could assist with by helping me refinance my car. She is extremely knowledgeable, diligent, dependable and relatable. Overall a sweet person who not only cares about her members but is passionate about the work she does. I came into her office crying and left with the biggest smile on my face. Not because of the help she gave but her determination to do all that she can. She’s helped make my dark times feel and seem so much brighter. She is truly a gem. Rashelle, thank you for everything that you have done. I will never forget the kindness you showed me and will forever remember this wonderful experience with you.
The tellers are friendly and do their best, but they are constantly under staffed. I consistently stand in line for 20-25 minutes for a simple deposit.
I certainly will never open an account with this institution. Vystar wanted to charge me $5 to cash a check written from one of their customers. If this is the new norm, I'm glad I have better options at my disposal.
The location is convenient, and the parking lot is large enough to almost always have open spaces (an accomplishment in crowded Riverside).
The branch VP should be have been more proactive with my deposit grip. I have had no problem with the branch on Dunn Ave, where they care about their customers.
Love that they moved into my neighborhood. The staff is friendly. Service was fast. Parking was easy. I don't like to go to the bank, but VyStar makes it so enjoyable that when I HAVE to go.it's not a chore.:)
Glad this branch opened up. Hogan Street location is impossible to park at. The staff here is friendly. A little slow in drive through.
