Waggy Dag's Subs & More, Lantana FL

I found this place on Facebook when I was in Jupiter. The pictures looked so good, I drove to Lantana just to try it and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED, I love this place!
The food is fresh, the people are great and I love that it is a family business.

Went by for lunch during the week and it was my first time visiting Waggy Dags. Not a good experience whatsoever, bread is low quality and my sandwich was a mess when I unwrapped it. Keep in mind I live across the street so it’s not like I went a long time before unwrapping my sun. For $18 I will not be going back.

This little place is out of the way (going towards the beach if you are on Lantana Rd) but it is a cozy little restaurant. Local owners. Their menu is nothing to write home to mom about (because the need a cheese steak on it) but all-in-all the food is really good, I have been twice and it's always fresh, sliced to order. If you need to compare sub shops there is a horrible company called Totally Awesome Subs which Waggy dags blows them totally out of the water when it comes to quality and portion sizes. The prices are reasonable just please tip these workers. The one thing I have to warn you about is the sub can get mushy if you allow it to sit. I saved it for my dinner and it definitely went into the air fryer to dry the bread a bit. I recommend if your not eating it right then and there to put the condiments on the side.
Will be back, maybe I'll try a wrap!

Excellent service from the staff: my barn dog chicken sub was fresh and tasty - I did not have to wait long! This was my first experience eating at this spot. Shout out to the girl with the yellow hoodie and making sure i was satisfied. I would definitely recommend it.

I think this is one of the best sub shops ever! They have soft bread, quality ingredients and the owners clearly have a thing for dogs! It's great. There aren't a ton of places to sit but it's never been an issue for us. We have to remember they are closed on Sunday bc it's tempting to just run over there for a sub when we think of it. I love the Italian. Anyway, awesome subs!

I usually don’t write bad reviews but this has happened to me twice. I place an order online at noon for a 12: 30 pick up bc I’m on a half hr lunch break. I get there at 12: 30 and my sandwich is not ready. The girl tells me she’s working on it. I wait a few minutes longer I look over and it hasn’t even been started yet but all the walk ins are being made and leaving while I’m still standing there waiting for mine to be even made on a 12: 00 online order! I ask the girl so mine isn’t even made yet and she said we’ve been busy. I said I ordered mine at 12 and then she starts making my sandwich. I’m a little upset because this didn’t just happen once. This is the second time!

Everything was fresh, delicious and service with a smile! Best sub I’ve had in Palm Beach County! Specialty subs- Barn Dog Chicken and the Branco Italiano taste GREAT!

WaWa is right across the street.and there subs put them to shame. So next time you on your break. Get your gas and cigarettes then come to Waggy dags to get a Real Classic.

Was in the area and tried Waggy Dag's Subs today. I ordered online - Roast Beef, Turkey, & Ham, Large, White, Provolone, Oil, Vinegar, Mayo, Yellow Mustard, Waggy Sauce, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Red Onion, Cucumber, Green Pepper, Cherry Pepper, Sweet Pepper, Pickle, Pepper, and Oregano. Was a HUGE sandwich but one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had. They shave the meats and everything was just right. It made (2) meals for the day and worth it. Will be back for sure.

Used to be my favorite place to eat, but now they close at 4pm so I can literally never get to them. Also had a horrible experience on the phone with one of the girls, but I’ll give them credit that usually the girls are super sweet. Just really disappointed with their closing times and my last experience.

Hands down the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. The meat is so tender and flavorful, the bread is always just right and it's toasted to perfection every single time. I usually don't leave food reviews, but I felt obligated to review this sandwich and the folks who made it! I'd give it more starts if I could.

From NY and a former Deli owner I appreciate and enjoy my Heros/Hoagies.this place came across my attention back 3 months ago. Since then I have been trying to enjoy what looks like a Good Florida Hoagie. I live in Broward and since have traveled to NY in between driving daily to WPB Lake Worth and surrounding areas. It has to be literally a dzn times now, that I am trying to TRY there hoagies. ALWAYS CLOSED SHORT DAYS AND AGAIN TODAY Weds closed! I just don't get it!

They are by far the best sub shop in the area. Since I found them I go at the least twice a month.
They are amazing!
