Walden Lake Apartments, Plant City FL

What a great experience touring the property and getting my application approved. Nayka made everything simple and I can’t wait to move in to my new apartment.

For months now we have tried to get our oven door handle and microwave handle fixed… obviously still has not been resolved. Then for the last two weeks there has been trash all over the main pull in… extremely welcoming if I must say. A few months ago a dead body was pulled out of the pond next to the complex. That really goes to show how the area is definitely getting worse. The pool has been closed several time this year alone and the hot tub seems to always be closed. The staff is nice but the absolute lack of communication to the staff is unbelievable. I shouldn’t have to wait months to get maintenance which I am sure was not documented properly so that will be something “ we broke” when really it couldn’t be the ancient appliances provided. The rent continues to increase without anything to show for it. We aren’t gated even the gates have been gone for 3 or 4 years but I can almost guarantee we are all paying for gates we don’t have.

All in all the complex isn’t that nice and the you can’t get any work done even though on all the reviews they want to say the resident satisfaction is important to them. It definitely is not a priority at all! Basically the nicest part of the entire complex is the main office if you can over look the trash when you park outside of it. ****As seen below*****

Lovely, professional and very helpful. This will be my first time living alone and they made it so easy in still waiting to hear if I have gotten the apartment for sure but I would love to because they are great

4 year Great Tenant always pay. Washer caught fire and smoked 4 weeks ago still no replacement. I don't blame office staff but management is horrible if they can't make executive decisions. As a contractor they'd be fired after a week of poor performance.

Kassandra is Amazing!

I booked an appointment for a Friday Morning, however in Thursday afternoon, I happen to finish my appointments early, and gave a call if I can have a tour of the apartments that afternoon. Kassandra took time to check the appointment schedules that afternoon, and happily took me for a tour. She explained the amenities of the apartment complex, and honest with some downside of the apartment like train noises during the day (which I don't mind). She is very enthusiastic and efficient.
I cannot wait to move into the apartment complex by August!

Staff/managers are unprofessional at all times, always finding new ways to take extra money, and unable to fix anything wrong within the units. Please do not waste your time or money staying at this facility.

Mrs. Ruiz was very helpful in the process of getting myself started with the application and answering all my questions.

Syretha, she was a great agent in terms of how professional and kind she was, she went the extra mile on various occasions to ensure my peace of mind about the whole moving situation because moving can be stressful.

Moved in last Year, and was promised that the balcony full of mold was going to be cleaned up, as well as the dirty unit. There is hardly no hot water, bathroom mirror not properly installed, neighbors are extremely loud at 1-3am, dog waste all over the place, piece of the flooring missing, and I could go on an on. I pay $2,400 for this junk of unit, even thought I have spoken to the manager regarding this situation many many times, no one has done anything. A year has passed and no maintenance has fix the unit. It is obvious that Debra the manager seems not to care about this community at all, wish someone else more professional and caring would replace her soon.

Kassandra is super nice and she really wants to turn this place into a five star community, but her hand is tight up; there so much she can do. (She might be a great manager)

This must be the worse place I’ve ever rented, and I do not recommend this community to anyone. Spoke to several neighbors and they can’t wait for their lease to end so they can move elsewhere.

I wish I could give this place a zero star! I’ve place so many orders on the portal app requesting maintenance but for some strange reason they states being short of staff. Well it’s been a year; are you still short of staff? Definitely the worse place to live at, plus the prices are ridiculous for an outdated unit.

She was on amazing and she made it really simple and easy to understand, and I do appreciate it and she was very sweet

Syretha is an amazing tour guide, and person all around. You’re incredibly lucky to have her apart of your team. She explained everything very well, and was very personable. She made me feel very welcome, and helped make our decision a lot easier.

Kassandra was very nice and knowledgeable about the property and its amenities. She was also very open about the breakdown of costs to get into the property. She deserves a raise

Nice facilities, maintenance takes a little bit but only because they’re backed up and they get done what they need to when they can, huge plus for dog parks. People who live here are generally nice.

The staff is nice and try to be helpful. But communication between you and the front office is very bad. Management is the biggest issue here. They’re never available and never to be seen. When theirs an issue it’s ALWAYS tossed to the side. A little more involvement with management to solve issues that the leasing ladies can’t fix would be great…. Honestly wouldn’t recommend living here just due to the fact that you pay money to live somewhere and fees, you expect that the bare minimum is that they value and care for residents needs.

We have been submitting requests for a year for the same issues and finally got someone to come fix the black mold in bathroom but never came back to finish the job that was a week ago.
