Walgreens, New Port Richey FL

Never had an experience like this. I booked an appointment for a vaccine. They kept me waiting for 40 minutes before they told me they couldn’t verify my insurance.
I have Medicare and a premium Blue Cross supplement.
What I observed while I waited was that they turned away others for the same reason. Every person waiting then began to tell about the poor treatment they always get at this branch and how the staff doesn’t care.
Please stay away from this place if you can.

Today Sunday, April 30,2023 at 4: 30pm I went to this Walgreens to buy beer with my wife, my cousin, and my son and when I went to pay the manager asked everybody's ID. I think it is because the manager is racist because my cousin is BLACK! This is the second time I go with my cousin and this manager ask for our ID. I have been coming to this store for a few years now and never had this issue before until I came with my BLACK cousin. They just ask for my ID since I am the one paying. (Disclamer: I have to specify my cousin's skin color because this manager have something against my cousin.) If this happens one more time I will sue this store!

This locations pharmacy department is an absolute joke. On several occasions now, they have made difficult to get the medicine I am prescribed. Also, they are rude for no reason. You are much better off going to a different pharmacy.

Called the Pharmacy today about a script and woman who answered was extremely rude. I have had this issue before and I'm sure it was the same woman. Reading the reviews other people have also been at the receiving end of this behavior. Guess Walgreens doesn't care or managers. Word of advice if your that miserable quit!

They banned me (HISPANIC) and my (BLACK) friend out for no reason. All we wanted to do was buy an Arizona but no we were told to leave for no reason. She told us it was because some reports? Also last time we were there this lady was just following us? (RASICM)
