Bethany is AMAZING! My dog Reese, a reactive German Shepherd who is now in recovery thanks to Bethany. I would highly recommend her to anyone struggling with their dog. Bethany is wonderful to work with - she takes the time and truly listens to understand what you are struggling with and what your goals are for you and your dog. Then she gets to work. During the board and train she is very communicative with training updates, what she’s doing with your dog and how your dog is responding. She’s always responsive to any questions you may have. As a dog owner who LOVES her dog, it was hard leaving her, but with the daily updates from Bethany it made the time away so much easier. I had 100% confidence my dog was in excellent hands. You can truly see how much Bethany loves dogs and she pours that into each dog she is training. What she’s has done for Reese and me as her owner is life changing. Once a very reactive dog that I would have to think very carefully about the places and situations she could be in, we now have the tools to enjoy all the things with confidence. Reese can enjoy the world around her without feeling the need to react to everything and I have so much more confidence as her handler. I am so grateful we had this opportunity and so thankful to have met Bethany. I highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Bethany and her resources enough! I have 3 dogs that I wanted to introduce to the e-collar, but it was too overwhelming for me to learn a new tool and train all 3 of them at the same time (not saying it can't be done, it was just too much for me at that time in my life). Anyway, I got Bethany's video course so I could train my boy and sent his sisters off to board with her. All this to say, I have experience with both options and they both rock!

1. The courses. The e-collar video course was super clear and included multiple examples with different dogs. This was very helpful because it gave me a wider range (i.e. More realistic) expectation to how this experience would go - dogs are so unique! The course has step by step instructions to ease both you and your pooch into this new tool.

2. Board and Train. Boarding with Bethany was such an amazing experience. The girls instantly fell in love with her and were very eager to please. Bethany kept me in the loop during the whole process and I was able to see their journey on Instagram, too!

The e-collar (& Bethany, of course!) gave me the ability to communicate more clearly with my pups, which led to them knowing my expectations, which led to my highly wound up/ anxious dog FINALLY being able to settle. All of this hard work has allowed me to enjoy a fuller life with my dogs.

We are now about 5 months post B&T/ video courses and the change has been amazing. They've always been good dogs, but this tool and Bethany have allowed them to be GREAT dogs!

TLDR; You can't go wrong. The courses and B&T are both fabulous options. Plus, you have an amazing person who will cheer you on the whole way!

We live in Singapore and added a second dog to our family. However, we had very specific reactive behaviours we needed to cope with, in relation to this pup. After exhausting all our options with three local trainers, different training tools and having many emotionally charged encounters on the leash, we engaged Bethany for a 1: 1 video consult, after buying and studying her guide books on e-collar training and boundary setting. The most beneficial part about the training is the mindset shift that we worked on for ourselves, as dog owners and dog guardians. Bethany was kind and patient, and I am still able to reach out to her and ask her a question or two, and she is always available. Our new pup, now a pup no more, has been trained with the principles Bethany has outlined in her e-books and with consistent reinforcement, 6-months after our call with Bethany, I'm happy to report he's a much calmer, well-adjusted and happy animal, and so are we. Thank you Bethany for creating the e-books and for the guidance. You are awesome!

Bethany is a godsend. My bull terrier puppy is as stubborn as they come. No matter how much I tried I could not get him to listen to me. I was feeling overwhelmed and a bit hopeless. I discovered Bethany and reached out about her Board & Train program……. MIRACLES! My baby boy came back with such a different temperament. Respectful, peaceful, and obedient. Still silly happy and mischievous but the fact that he will listen, and relax is worth all of this. I never thought I would need a dog trainer, but I’m glad that I discovered Bethany and reached out for help. It has been life changing. And a bonus is how communicative she is all throughout, sending updates and the most adorable photos to cherish for a life time.

Walking dog training was the best thing I have done for my dogs! Bethany is so great understanding you and your dog’s needs and goals. All of her guidebooks are so helpful and her methods have worked so so well for my 1 year old and 2 year old pups. They now have a better understanding of what’s expected of them at their current level of training. Doing the board and train has helped give them such a great kick start and I can’t wait to continue working with them. Bethany has been amazing to work with, she provided so many photos, videos, and updates during the board & train, and answered any questions I had. I now have the confidence to continue the work and practice for success with my two dogs and I have a much more peaceful mindset going forward

Bethany has a wealth of knowledge in dog training. When listening to her speak, you can feel her love for helping people and their dogs. She is very open about her training methods and she gets results! This is visible through all of the content she shares on IG. Personally, she helped me gain the confidence I was lacking with the ecollar…which was the missing link to managing my dogs reactivity.

I purchased the ECSG in 2021 and have been a long time IG follower. I can honestly say that Bethany has helped tremendously with my training efforts just by way of her materials/content. She gives very insightful and assuring advice and tips. 100% recommend!

I am a fellow trainer and had a dog in for some pretty bad separation anxiety. The dog was doing really good but I still wanted a second opinion. I scheduled a virtual call with Bethany and we had a wonderful talk. She is so kind and sweet. She knows what she is talking about and provided another exercise to practice. (And I had the dog back for boarding the other night and she was still so calm and relaxed in her crate) Bethany exudes community over competition. If you need help, CONTACT HER! Even if you are far, a virtual call can be so so beneficial!

Thanks to The E-collar starter guide and all of Bethany’s guidance, my relationship with my dog has greatly improved! I Highly reccomend Walking Dog Training for all your dog/human training needs!

Bethany makes dog training easy to understand for the average dog trainer. She is helpful, relatable, and makes you inspired to keep working with your dog. I have loved working with her and you will love it too!

Hands down! One of the BEST resources out there on how to get started. Such amazing illustrations to go with and a fun read. The e collar guide changed my relationship with my dog and I am so so grateful for Bethany’s account! She also does Live QAs for free and I have attended them many times to get advice thank you for all you do!

These training books and videos have completely change our lives. Our reactive dog now goes hiking and camping and fishing and to town and I’m no longer consumed with worry that we might see another dog. Our hound gets to be off leash on hikes and camping and we have complete confidence in her recall. Bethany’s training is a game changer and has given us tools to have more freedom.

This woman’s go to “training method” is to throw an e collar on the dog. She advocates using an e collar for separation anxiety. Literally enough said. Ask ANY vet behaviorist or IAABC certified trainer and they would be absolutely appalled at the even suggestion of this. Please for the welfare of your dog, look elsewhere. Make sure your trainer is actually certified and if you have a behavioral issue, make sure you use someone who is IAABC certified. If your dog has separation anxiety use someone who is CSAT certified.

Also, super sketchy she is getting so many 5 star reviews after posting such an egregious thing about using an e collar for SA. I'm not trying to bash anyone, but I want fellow dog owners to be aware of what is okay and what isn't. If you aren't sure, literally ask your vet. A decent (not even great, just decent) vet would NEVER be okay with using an e collar for SA. And ANY vet behaviorist would lose their mind at the mere idea. Just- do your research, and look for people with actual certifications.

I randomly found Bethany on IG and connected with her and her content immediately. The information was like the most addictive candy or food you’ve ever eaten! It was exactly what I was looking for, an answer for the struggles we were having outside of our year and a half start with Vito and only using positive reinforcement. What I realized is I needed, we needed, a balanced approach and that is exactly what Bethany gave us. As soon as her contact was released as hard copies I scooped them up and promptly purchased the prong collar and e collar as she uses throughout her content. We also did one of her IG monthly challenges with “Place” work over the month of December. Between slowly incorporating the prong collar and e collar AND place work on the side, Vito is a changed little man and it’s given us confidence in negotiating some of the tough spots positive reinforcement wasn’t touching. I can’t recommend Bethany and her context enough, she has given us tools to strengthen our relationship with Vito, set very clear boundaries and overall has given Vito confidence and shown him what HE is capable of doing. From all the way in Washington, thank you Bethany!
