Walmart Supercenter reviews
20Well.for starters the MoneyGram system was down today, so i could not purchase my rent check. It was not to crowded, but another ongoing problem was alot of items have no price tag. Also, is it me or do people go out their way to block you in with food cart, or go slow "on purpose. Other then that things are the same. It was not to crowded today and i got what i needed.checkout was "self checkout, and things ran smoothly.
While Walmart has great prices on things on their shelves, the problem is there is empty shelves, and as for cashiers, they seem to be non existent. I do not work for walmart, so I will not check myself out then bag my own groceries and then carry to my car. If wal Mart wants people to check themselves out give us a discount for our troubles. Until then either use more cashiers or lose my business.
Absolutely no cashiers available, had to bag an entire grocery cart of food by myself, while bagging the register quit working and had wait for an employee to reset the register. I will never shop at the Walmart in Lake Wales again.
Never liked going there, I'm more of a Mom and Pop store, but I just don't like going. Now if they would open more lanes that would be great. But I don't get paid to check myself out and I'm not going to. Shoottt I would stop going there but my Mom we need smoke.
Ok 4 years from my last review of lake wales walmart and boy things have changed I called the store 7 times because they either transfered me to the wrong dept or put me on hold or hung up on me or just didnt answer at customer service I not sure what customer service is for if they cant help customers. Why because they dont answer the phone. With all the self check outs there should be plenty of people to answer phones right? All I wanted to do was spend my money at their store that is if they had the item that the really bad web site doesnt tell you if you store has. Well guess I am off to lowes or home depot
Rows and rows of empty shelves abound. Extremely limited selection if you can even find what you are looking for. The store looks very disheveled and unorganized. Workers seem like they have been sedated and walk around aimlessly. Drive the extra miles to Winter Haven if you don’t want to waste your time.
The store was cleaned, almost everyone worn a mask or shield and there was good customer service and the greeters was extremely great
Super busy, but great service. Went to garden center for propane swap and no problems. Friendly employee!
I'm so pleased with the pickup procedure. I'm fighting cancer and just cannot go inside. Your employees are fantastic. I am very seldom disappointed with the selections they make. Keep up the great work.
Dont shop were I got to check my self out and put other people out of a job that not taking care of your customers or your employees Walmart
If I wanted to work for Walmart I would. Do not do self check out. Hire cashiers so lines aren't miles long.
I use to love going to this Walmart. Not anymore; it has become the worst Walmart I have ever been in and I have been to many. Management of Walmart Lake Wales has gone to pot. They never have things in stock anymore; things that I buy on a regular basis are all gone from the shelves. The workers there have no manners, they are constantly in the way of shoppers and don't have respect to move out of your way. Since they have started the pick up orders the people that go around filling the orders have no respect. They are constantly blocking the isles and instead of respectfully moving over they expect you to get out of their way even though they are blocking the area you are shopping. Publix prices are usually a little higher but I will pay extra to keep from tolerating the present conditions at Walmart. I am sure I am not the only one who will stop using this Walmart due to sorry management.
Sheryl went above and beyond to help me out in a bind. Hard to find that kind of customer service these days.
Not a fan of this store due to looking for things and talking to my son within 10 feet of two employees telling my son I can't find what I am looking for. Yes I could have asked for assistance, but they seemed busy talking about the weekend they had.
The worst Walmart for customer service I have ever been in. Mother's Day only 1 cashier open and there was over 13 people in line. One customer went to the service desk to ask for another register to be open. It didn't happen, the cashier asked for help and none came. Waited in line for over 25 mins.to be checked out. I don't use self check out. I am not a cashier and if I wanted to check myself out I would just shop online. The front End manager no where to be seen or found. Loads of employee's walking around texting on their phones during work hours but none would help this poor cashier named Melody get the line down. One said she was locked out and couldn't help, another said she was already busy with other things and couldn't jump on to get the line down. Where is the customer service people? Stop trying to push self check out and get some cross training going so you can take care of your customers. Poor management all the way around. And tell your employee's to stay off their phones during work hours and take care of the customers. GRRRRRRRR!
I can't blame Walmart for having the worst management in this store. I've never seen a group of unexperience, unprofessional, unadequate and disrespectful management in my entire career. They are never on the same sheet of music, they do what ever they want to do and the job never gets done, then they blame the employees for their mistakes and lack of communication. They treat their employees like if they were slaves with out any concern for them or their family. Shelves are always empty and they never have anything and good luck in getting help you'll never find anyone and if you do they don't even speak English. Worst store ever.
They are doing a good job at keeping it safe from the virus they clean and wrap things down all the time
Store is small and way over crowded.
Communication between employees needs work. Most staff is friendly and willing to assist.
It was well organized. The line was fast to get paper tissue, paper towels, water bottles and lysol. The employees were polite and very helpful.
In the crazy days of 3/18/20, all employees were kind, courteous, friendly and helpful. Cleaning people were everywhere. Thank you Walmart Associates!
