Walmart Supercenter, Gainesville FL

This Walmart is the type of Walmart I'm used to shopping in. The other one in Gainesville FL needs help.

Lines for miles!
I gave the 3 Stars for the simple fact that it was stressful for me as a disabled woman. But, the woman in the scooter who checked me out, was AMAZING! I give her 100 Stars. She lives and obviously, still works, with her disability. She was an amazing soul. People are having a hard time during this pandemic and it's unfortunate that Walmart is the place for inexpensive food right now. I have a hard time standing for a long time and Covid continues to plague Alachua County. It scares me to go anywhere but, food is essential for everyone!

The place is packed! It was insane. A lot of empty shelves. No one checking people out at this Walmart anymore. All self service. At least Walmart is finally admitting to no customer service.

This syore is the biggest train wreck i jave ever seen as a Wal-Mart. My last 2 trips in there were no carts then to top it off there are stocking pallets all over in the way or employees filling online orders. To top off the disaster of trying to shop in the store they have decided 2 or 3 cashier is sufficient and everyone is basically forced into 2 lines that have aprox 20 self checkouts for each line. With 1 incompetent cashier trying their hardest to keep up with 40 people checking out. I walked away from a full cart and refused to wait for 30 min or more in a line to checkout. Left and went to a competitor store and got all my items again then checked out in less time than waiting in your line would take. Pay attention to your customers i am not your employee and im not interested in waiting 30 min to do your cashiers job for you so you don't have to pay a employee. I will continue to take my cash elsewhere until you fix this.

It was a very busy Walmart location. It had a good selection of Gator gear and other essentials.

Super annoyed! I come home to find out one of my bags was not given to me. Ok, common mistake I get it. But I call Walmart and not a single person in any department will answer the phone. Someone from the pick up department picked up the phone, immediately placed me on hold then transferred me. What exactly do y’all get paid for? When I was there all I saw was people standing around. No reason in the world why the phone just keeps ringing! Its 8 pm and I know it’s not busy. Y’all need better staff. Probably why y’all work at Walmart

Lots to offer from soup to nuts but, prices are getting higher and, not enough clerks to get someone out under an hour. True.

This may be the cleanest and best stocked Walmart in the county. But it is the slowest check out Walmart in the entire state. You have lines on one side halfway through the groceries. One guy running electronics that has to clock out of his register each time to go grab an item for someone because he has no help and has a line halfway through the store. It just seems poorly managed and way understaffed for this many people That shop here on regular basis

Walmart was Walmart! Had entertainment by fighting girls at checkout! Employees were nice and merchandise was available.

Always love goin on the first of the month, everyone's happy and buying wings, cheese dip, bags of sour patch Kidz, etc.

A prime place to do grocery for families and students. They are comparatively cheaper than Publix and Target. One downside is that sometimes at the end of the day, some stuff is always out of stock, even though the app shows it. Walmart should concentrate more on stocking in this branch.

Only got 3 stars because i waited 20 mins to be told photo was out of photo paper and I could not print my pictures

Due to the state mask mandate being lifted, I was unaware that this Walmart mandated masks. I casually entered and started to walk in when an employee by the name of Mimi came up and grabbed me by the arm, yanked me around, and started yelling at me. I have nothing against going out and grabbing a mask, but with how she treated me I left all together.

I will admit, I didn't respond in the best way, but I was just playing her game.

More check out registers need to be opened. The self checkout lines are way too long. The answer is not to eliminate humans, it is to give more people jobs who actually want to have a job. Shelves aren't barren, but sparse. I prefer to just go to the garden center at the Atlantic Blvd location.
