Walmart Vision & Glasses, Vero Beach FL

Eye doctor was really wonderful. Unfortunately the staff is not. Went to pick up my glasses. I never got a call that they were ready at all, but since it was 2 days past when they were supposed to be ready I took a shot. Upon arriving, husband and I stood near cash register for about 15 minutes. No one acknowledged us even tho we saw them, see us standing there. Another woman came out from the back but also ignored us so I asked for help. She was very rude. Said she was already helping someone, I said we were just there for a pickup, and that no one had acknowledged us.this is when shr became very condescending. When i finally got my glasses they wouldnt fit them to my face, or even let me look in a mirror i was ushered out and made to feeel like a waste of time. I will never come back to this location.

Dr. Weiss is a life saver as he discovered that I had a Hollenhorst Plaque lodged in my eye that other doctors misdiagnosed. I greatly appreciate his services as he is a professional doctor and knows what he is doing along with his staff.

I didn't feel well attended, the doctor was rushing the whole examination process and the staff no helpful at all.
Now, I ended with a pair of glasses that causes me headache.

I am not one that leave reviews unless I feel business and/or it's staff give outstanding service and deserve 5 star rating.
Basically, if I cant say anything nice, I say nothing at all. However, my experience with staff at Walmarts Vision Center in Vero Bch for past 4 MONTHS have compelled me to break this rule.

I sought an ER eye exam for contacts w/ Dr. Weiss on July 15th 2022 for contacts & glasses when on holiday in Vero Bch (I forgot to pack new pr contacts/glasses and threw away worn pr before realizing) and needed exam/valid prescription bc current one had expired.
I was UNABLE to drive back home to Clearwater bc im blind as a bat (R -4.50 L-4.75) eyes without corrected vision.

The eye exam w/ Dr. Weiss went fine, it's the STAFF! Not only have they gaslighted me, D. Brill my eye dr for 33yrs, and Clearwater Walmart Vision Center they have flat out LIED! All 3 of us have repeatedly asked for my valid script to be faxed and/or hard copy mailed for MONTHS. Not one of us has received anything. The staff in Vero Bch are that incompetent. All of us are met with rude & nasty behavior and are told " its not my job anymore.this is last time I'm doing it" or "if want it, drive over and get it yourself! ". They went as far as calling my eye Dr and Walmart staff lazy Liars to boot!

Can you believe that that? ! Not you're job? 8 attempts each from 3 individuals = 24 attempts. And NOTHING! You can't tell me that you did YOU'RE JOB did your job in the first pldon't!
My only recourse is paying for additional eye exam which is scheduled for tomorrow. I'm also leaving this review and reporting them to BBB.
Shame on you staff at Vero Bch Walmart Vision Center, karma is a BBB!
I would avoid this place at all cost bc it may cost you twice as much if you dont!
