Waterfrontoo, Nokomis FL

My family and I stopped here while on vacation and it was one of my favorite restaurants in the Sarasota area! You could tell that everything was made from scratch. The beer bread was amazing! Our waitress, Joy, was excellent. She was prompt with her service. I will definitely return!

Well Too that was a nice meal.

Starting with escargot, the sauce was a little non-de script but a nice plate of snails for $9.95.

The baby backs, green beans and loaded baked were all good.

Tender ribs with tasty BBQ sauce. Green beans sauteed in soy, not overcooked and a small, piping-hot loaded potato.

I arrived at peak time so service was a little distracted, but they got it together. The pint-sized Margarita was good and at $7.00 a bargain.

Too is easy to get to with great parking. I walked in on a Saturday night without a reservation, they were packed but got me right in, plenty of seating and a nice view up the canal.

All in all a good meal, decent price and good service. This is a good Greek American supper club that has managed to maintain it's character through covid and biden.

Went to waterfront too yesterday pre Mother’s Day Dinner, my wife ordered a top sirloin steak, ordered it medium, her steak was overcooked.she sent it back then the owner brought it back and argued the first steak was cooked wright. Not good business with other people at our table who we brought and other customers sitting near by. We’ve been coming here for 10 years and didn’t appreciate his rude behavior. With that attitude I’ll consider going somewhere else.

Amazing atmosphere and service. Always a blast of a time here. Please get their haddock with chips if you get the chance.

Very nice, very busy dinner house. Comfortable atmosphere, nice cocktail lounge, very good but not intrusive service. Our party of four celebrating a birthday were seated after a short wait.

The extensive menu is well balanced. There should be something for every one. We all four had beef and two shared a 16oz.lobster tail. Everything was prepared as ordered and was delicious.

Server failed to bring appetizers, steak and lobster were both over cooked, tuff and cold. The last three times food was over cooked, there will not be a fourth. The quality of the food has slipped since moving to the new location, it's too bad my wife and I have been going there for many years.

Three of us arrived, waited about 5 minutes for a table, got seated on the back patio. Great service, great food. We will return.

This is for the owner - nana, nana, nana boo hoo. You're so insecure about reviews that you lash out like a whiny 5 year old bully.

I had the jumbo shrimp with broccoli and rice and it was perfectly cooked! All of it. I will be back for another plate.

This is one of my favorite restaurants the food is great there the staff is all family. It’s got an open kitchen in the middle so you can watch them cook everything. The steak is great and I love the Greek salad and don’t forget to try the string beans with garlic they are delicious.

Ate at Waterfrontoo on April 20 at suggestion of our friends that have eaten at the restaurant in the past. It was our last night out before returning to Ohio. Nice setting on the water and good table to view sunset. Slow roasted Prime Rib and Ribs promoted as featured entrées were ordered. Waitress was pleasant but not very knowledgeable about other options but that's understandable considering difficulties in securing workers. PR ordered medium rare. Came out looking MR but was super tough and chewy. Don't think it was "slow roasted". Ribs were far from " fall off the bone". Super chewy as well. Manager, I guess, came over and offered free dessert. I declined and just asked that it be taken off my bill which it was. Restaurant featured items should be 100% every time a customer orders. Disappointed. Maybe just an off night in the preparation of these two menu mainstays.

My son & I were given a recommendation to visit Waterfrontoo from a local guy named Thomas we met at Pops Tiki bar (also very good). He said the coconut shrimp app was the best, and he was right! We loved it! Our dinners were excellent as well. They were incredibly busy that night, but our server did a great job & made the evening even better with her service with a smile. The owners took several trips around the dinning area checking in with every table at some point. Impressive to see that anymore. It was overall a excellent experience and I felt the cost was very reasonable for the quality. Looking forward to bringing my wife & the rest of the family there many more times! Loved it,

My father and I went back again again this time for hers 88 birthday dinner? I tried The swordfish it was absolutely amazingly delicious I️ would suggest any fish lover to try I out.

Would have been a 5 star however through no fault of there’s, it was very crowded and it took a bit too long to get our meal. Escargot and ribs were great. Overall time spent at the restaurant 90 minutes. I’ll return when the crowds let up a little.

We had a reservation at 5: 00. We walked up and the hostess asked if all our party was there. I told her yes. I also then told her 2 people had to cancel. She then told me that we were going to be added to the end of the waiting list. We waited 40 minutes. Extremely rude! Then we ordered and we waited forever for our food. We ordered two large lobsters and a filet with shrimp. Filet was raw and had to send back, One lobster was over cooked and the other wasn't cooked. They took the lobster not cooked back and brought it back still not edible. The waiter said that the owner said it was fine. Come to find out the same woman that wouldn't honor our reservation was the owner. On top of that it was my Birthday. The server was wonderful absolutelynot his fault. I have been here several times but this time was terrible. We should have just walked away from the beginning.

Nice place. Non-descript exterior. Pleasant inside. Friendly, experienced, but over-worked staffed. Place is packed all the time and staff have to run to keep up. They do keep up, but all that hustle and bustle unnerves me. Prime rib is delectable, but it's the only thing I've had on the menu. Companions who did not have prime rib commented favotably about their meals. Wish they could install more sound dampening. It's not the loudest place I've been to, but it's loud enough to be bothersome. Don't go if you're looking for a quiet romantic place.
