Waterside Suites and Marina, Key Largo FL

Pros: The room was spacious, the balcony had a nice view of the marina, and the air conditioner worked well.

Cons: we saw a roach in the cupboard and one of our towels had a red stain on it

All in all if they kept the rooms better it would have been really great

It was raining when we got there and the parking lot was a big puddle. Too deep to roll luggage. Bed wasn't very comfy, but the room was nice and very clean.

Be ware of bedbug! I stayed for 1 night and suffered for more than 1 week! What a nightmare!

This location is absolutely gorgeous! The floor plan is perfect, price is great, and the rooms are equipped extremely well. The rooms are so clean! My favorite part though.the staff! The staff here are so friendly and happy yet totally goodabout privacy! They genuinely seem to want to make their guest feel at home. The key here is genuine. The staff truly seem to love what they do! I will book here any time and I highly recommend this spot! It's truly a perfect lil gem in key largo!

The rooms are great for families and very roomy. Loved having a balcony overlooking the canal. But.the room was very dirty and we were basically stalked and rushed to check out by the cleaning staff which was super annoying and unprofessional. With a little more attention to detail and customer service, this place would be great.

Unfortunately all the other comments about cleanliness are correct - the floors especially were very dirty. This could be a nice place to stay with better maintenance, but at $200 a night I don't expect to find roaches in the room.

The place was really clean, great location and the service was A+.
We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Decent standard of accommodation but WiFi was terrible and did not work at all in our unit. We complained and were told it would be attended to but 5 days later when we checked out nothing had changed. Suspect this is a long lasting and continuing issue here which they can't be bothered to fix. Won't be making a return visit and do not recommend.

Staff were indifferent upon check in, room was dingy and the floor was covered in crumbs and generally quite dirty I.e. Feet were black after walking around barefoot. Couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. The only positive was a comfortable bed, the view over the marina and the fact the pool was clean and warm! The worst place we stayed on our trip, wish we'd driven on to homestead and spent half the cost on a motel room.

3 stars due it to being so dated and the pool was small and not lit at night. Otherwise great place for the fact it's a 1 bedroom apt. Pullout couch and 1 king size bed. 2 full bathrooms. It serves its purpose especially if there for like a week with your family, you can cook instead of eating out all the time.

House keeping not that great.was a bit on the dirty side. A lot of little things wrong. Tv didn't work in bedroom.no batteries in smoke detector.the front desk communication is via text message and they are mia in helping half the time. The new owner did a nice job remodeling but needs to work on staffing issues i feel.

This place is extremely disappointing. The "suites" are simple, old and unclean. The "marina" is uninteresting and rather ugly. Wifi is virtually non existing. Service is disinterested and not very friendly. The worst thing was the dirty floor and living room. As you can see in the pictures, this is what I picked off the floor myself, after being told that the cleaning staff would be here only tomorrow. Disgusting. The front desk knew only to say "we're sorry".

I only remember my 1 year old son crawling in the room for 5 minutes. His knees were completely black. Never seen a room as dirty as this one.

The outside could use some cleanup. Lots of garbage and general messiness. The canal was a definite positive. Loves watching the boats and lizards from the balcony.

Wish I was able to share video I took of inside our room. The rooms have been renovated nicely. It's a nice place on a canal. A lot of boat activity. They had a nice pool, that's about it for the amenities. This definitely not a resort. Just a place to stay. Great if you're here to fish, snorkel or dive. The staff was very friendly. Our views from our balcony was nice. Only drawbacks to our room was, the shower had very little water pressure & the TV's were outdated. No smart TV or HD. Other than that, the place was nice & clean.

We had a nice 1- night stay here. The updates are clean and tidy, even if some things already showing wear. I have a feeling someone's pet had their way with our sofa, which isn't management's fault. The kitchen could have been cleaner, but ironically the floors were slippery from too much cleaning product. On the other hand, the AC was ice cold and beds were comfy. We loved the view, the location, and had plenty of room for our family! Would stay here again for sure!

Great location. Nice size rooms with full kitchen. Only improvement would be the sofa bed, very hard to sleep on. Everything else was great, super friendly staff and close to great restaurants.

Could be cleaner, front door looks like it went thru a war. Drunks outside most of the night making all kinds of noise. Could use new carpeting. Workers are really nice though
