Manger seems to be a muzzle manic. Not good hospitality. Boats need to be returned by 5pm. Way to early in summer. Was my reason not to join.

0 stars. I moved to SW Florida recently and joined and pre-paid for the Platinum annual Waves Boat Club membership. It was a mistake, to say the least. Twice already, my guests and I have been knowingly placed on boats with defective engines. The first time this happened, the owner, Aaron, called me and accused me of "taking out the lower unit" and that I "had to have hit something". Thank goodness I texted the dockmaster number upon leaving the harbor that the engine was off, it was running very loud even at idle speed. The dockmaster admitted the engine was bad upon my return and that the mechanic "hadn't gotten to it yet. " Once Aaron heard this he backed off and went after some other club member. Today we were put on another defective engine/boat, it had some leak somewhere and they were "waiting for a part". On a few occasions, the dockmasters have been unprofessional and adversarial, despite taking my tips. It is a great concept buy sadly poorly managed and operated. I did enjoy my initial meeting with Carole in Sales but as a life long member of various clubs, the way I have been treated as a member is totally unacceptable.

No boats are ever available. Why pay hundreds of dollars to not have any boats available. Call Freedom boat club, they actually know what they are doing.

This is a really nice club with a variety of boats for use by the members at several locations around the bay. They have membership specials periodically and apparently it is pretty easy to get a boat when you want one. They have a couple of nice fishing boats and there are plenty of places to fish in the area. Boats come clean and ready to go and are kept in good shape. Dock hands are terrific. They do everything except catch and clean your fish!

I've been a member of this boat club since 2011. My membership has offered me so much enjoyment to have the opportunity to go out on the local area waterways. My club membership gives me choices of nearly 50 boats available for full day use from 5 different Marinas. I try to go out on the Intercoastal Waterway or the Gulf of Mexico at least once a week. For me boating has become a regular hobby much like golfing is to an avid golfer. The convenience of taking out a boat, enjoying it's use, and dropping it off without the burden of cost and maintenance goes beyond description other than it's a privilege to be a member.

We all heard of the two best days in a boater's life: the day the boat is purchased and the day it is sold! Well I believe there is a third best day in a boater's life: the day you join the Waves Boat and Social Club!

Really enjoying our membership here. Boats have been in great shape. Plenty of locations to go out of. Friendly staff.

Great owners and staff! Pay your membership and you get to pick from several boats. They clean them and make sure they are ready for the next day.

Great place and sevice. Wish that the boat rental captains wanted to work, no one was there to run the tour boats.
