Wawa, Largo FL

Food and service are great, but something needs to be done about the junkies hanging around outside at the tables. They come in, get a free cup of ice in a Wawa cup, then sit out there for HOURS! Half the time they're nodding off from an OD. It makes for a very uncomfortable atmosphere for paying customers. If they're not buying something, get them the hell out of there. The one on 19 and East Bay has a security guard now it's gotten so bad.

My girl bought a pretzel and it was stale so we walked to the deli, that was not busy at all. Asked the gentleman if he could heat it just for a moment. He asked his manager, who was doing nothing, and he said no. I don't understand why. It was a deli item. Not cool.not that I want every guy that comes along heating my woman's hard pretzel, but I feel it wasn't a big deal for him to do it. After all I was watching.

I do love WAWA and believe they have great subs. I do recommend watching while they make your sandwich and then paying. I have noticed that their employees do feel like they are making you a clean "sanitary " sandwich, all while opening doors, touching objects that are touched without gloves etc. As we all know gloves are for our protection, they do forget that the gloves are only protecting the one wearing them if they are not worn properly. Other than that kudos for great food, snack and frozen drinks.

I come here at least three times a day and it would probably be more if they would actually keep their coffee specialty drinks open overnight. What is even more frustrating is calling them to see if their specialty drink bar is going to be open and they don't answer the phone and you can't leave a message either. So many times I come there to get a drink and then I have to go to a different one, they always say they are short-staffed overnight, but yet someone can make cappuccinos and other stuff-update 3/21/21 not enough staff for specialty coffee drinks, this time during almost the whole day.

I love Wawa but today made me rethink everything. The male employee making my food and coffee never changed his gloves. He was wearing clearly old gloves (you could see the worn out trim around the wrist). He went to make my coffee, wiped the counter down with a antibacterial cleaning wipe, and went back to making my breakfast burrito without changing gloves. I couldn't stay and complain and ask for a new one because I was running late for work. I am just disappointed that the employee didn't think to change his gloves between cleaning, or between any contact outside of food.

I love Wawa.my kids and I ate there on Sat night we all had the same thing except me i ordered a small chicken noodle soup. I ended up with food poisoning and i called and talked to a manager on Sun and she said she made a report about it and that someone from Wawa Corp would Call me.today is Thurs and still no call.very disappointed

I am a regular customer at another Wawas and I must say this store is far superior to the one I visit. All local Wawas should strive to be at par with this location. All coffee is filled and hot during morning rush. All machines are functional. No walking out of Wawas without the item you wanted to purchase. I will be changing my regular visits to this location!

I grew up with Wawa, so when they came to Florida, I was ecstatic! Nice, clean stores, plenty of gas pumps and room. Perfect for boat owners to refuel as it's close to the beach, and gas prices are competitive. Inside we have 2 free-style fountain soda/drink machines (Coke products) (no, the sodas are NOT "free") and a nice coffee area, with lots of choices, including cappuccino, several varieties of teas, flavored cold creamers, cinnamon,
Fresh made sandwiches to order, and frosty cold specialty drinks. Throughout the year Wawa runs different specials on coffee, Hoagies (Hoagiefest!) and drinks. (Siptopia!)
Wawa is always my first choice when it comes to convenience.
(Some of my personal favorite snacks Wawa has are Tasty Cakes.yum.and Herrs Jalapeno Poppers cheese puffs.love it)

Although they have good coffee and food, very poor customer service. I personally spend a l of money at the wawa around Florida. I was filling up a zip lock with ice I was ran out of there, employee told I can't do that. They just lost a customer over a little zip lock bag of ice.

I go to this Wawa at least 3 times a week since it’s on my way to work. I used to think it was the best. Employees are friendly and check out times are quick, but.the last two Saturdays I’ve been there my salads have been awful. Last week there was no bacon or eggs on my chef salad which I’d paid extra for. (That was an expensive chunk of lettuce!)
Yesterday’s chicken Caesar was about half full and that’s with the chicken! Even though the directions state to fill with romaine to the rim. There’s one guy (tall guy with dark hair and a beard) that makes a great salad, but unfortunately it wasn’t him making it.

I guess I’m going to have to start double checking them for now on, or go to Wendy’s.

And they need to make more breakfast sandwiches. I come in around 10 am on Wednesdays to buy my coworker and I each one. Lately it’s been slim pickings on them.

On July 30 I came in at 1: 30am and the worker there refused to let me use the restroom, telling me that it was closed, but this is a 24hr location. Very displeased!

Great store, though I may be a bit biased. One of my favorite people in the world works here. Hello, ARB!

Great place to stop on the way to the beach. Clean restrooms. Good food and fast service. I stop in for coffee every chance I get. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious too. They have pretzels by the counter. They have a beer cooler and plenty of drinks for the rest of the family.

I live in Tallahassee but visit largo for holidays. Every time I go to this wawa I get excellent service and the food is deliscious. The staff is always more than helpful whenever I ask for help. 11/10.

Great food (for a convenient store) & cheap. Way better than Subway in my opinion. Friendly employees.

This location has the worst service.never have coffee machine running.the store is dirty, and the employees seems to not give a dam they work there.

They have a menu that lists the soups available for each day of the week, but it's rarely accurate. Today I was shorted 2 quarters from the cashier's change machine.

I love Wawa! The food here is always made correctly and it's delicious. They get mad at you though if you walk in while they are mopping.like sorry, how was I supposed to know? I think they serve their coffee too hot though. I have to leave the lid off for 20 minutes for it to cool some before I can drink it.

Great concept, albeit a little weird in the operation. In a laudable attempt to separate cash handling from food production, the resultant delay can be very frustrating (and, I guess, a major contributor to shrinkage). The products themselves are, however, top quality and excellent value. The IT is very good, too. Customer facing initiatives & signage outside/inside could benefit from review, but, overall, the site is well controlled and very kempt.

Great food selection. Coffee bar could have a little more to choose from. All in all, great store.
