Had a tough time finding a tortoise shell pickguard for my 2014 SG Standard. WD had a nice selection of custom colors and graphics. Reasonably priced, shipped fast, and most importantly - looks great and fits perfectly

Pickguard arrive with a gouge in it. No damage to packaging bag or delivery box it came in. Itvwas clearly damaged befor packaging. The plastic protective coating was covered with pieces of some kind of debris. It was clearly just cut on the machine and thrown in a bag. No clean up or inspection. Take your money and ship. No reply to my emails. I would never buy from this place again.

If your pickguard fits, it'll look great; if there's any problem, don't expect a resolution or even an acknowledgement.

Ordered a pickguard, came promptly, liked the look - turns out it didn't exactly fit the bass, despite serial number being a match for model and year. A "close miss" like this wouldn't be a dealbreaker in many cases, but in this case, raised chrome parts means the pickguard can't be installed at all without a proper fit. Over the course of a month, I've tried contacting WD through their online return/exchange form, email, and phone+voicemail regarding the problem, and have received no reply whatsoever. I'm open to discussing the issue, covering handling/restocking costs, etc, but the total lack of response is very disheartening and rude. Very disappointed.

This is an outstanding company for luthiers. They have a great selection, great customer service, and outstanding prices. I highly recommend any small builder connect with them!

The quality isn't what it used to be. Send them a strat pickguard to copy and they get it wrong, repeatedly. I gave up on them.

Fine selection of guitars and accessories. Service on site. Mom and Pop shop. Not a chain. Mon thr Fri 9-5. Makes it a little hard for the working man. Otherwise a great shop

Hands down the BEST guitar shop that I have been to since I moved to Florida. I grew up in the L. A.music scene and have been to every great guitar shop you've ever read about. The reason I love WD is because they are a small custom shop with every single guitar part you would ever need for a fraction of what you would pay at Guitar Center and the real beauty all the parts are personally made by WD and brands like Kent Armstrong and Kluson, which are now my favorite pick ups and tuners that I only ever found out about at WD. Ok now for the guitars and Amp selection: I love the fact that you can get a G&L guitar here or an Orange Amp Combo. These are brands that the big stores don't always have available and must be ordered on line, and guitarists seek. Last but not least is my guy Paul, he now does all my work on my guitars, I can take a $200 FireFly les paul and give it to Paul to trick out with new pick ups, pots, set up, tuners and I get back a guitar that plays better than my Gibson Les Paul Custom for a lot less money. With Joe Biden in office I think I will stick to buying cheap guitars and bringing them to Paul. Thanks WD for making my Guitar World Rock!

I've ordered two custom pickguards from them and both have come out perfect. Great and fast work. If i need a custom pickguard made they are the first people I think of. No hesitation from me for when I need another made.

Friendly ppl in the building but, took a week to replace a vol pot only to find the tone not working after getting home. Don't think I'll drop anything off there again after listening how it must have gone bad in the case some kind of way that week it sat there.

Awesome place for guitars, parts and repairs. I had them make custom pick guard and switch plate. Also, they installed new humbuckers, and 3way switch. I took the flea market guitar to them after I did the re- finish work, they did the rest at a very reasonable price. They are very friendly and helpful, even to a guitar noob like me. There were many more little pieces everything is quality and it's just an all around great place. I will buy my next guitar from them, after I learn to play this one a little better. I already have it picked out, it's a G&L telecaster style.

Ridiculous policies. They sent me a clearly defective pickguard and won’t do anything resolve the issue because I filed two edges they neglected to do to tryand make it work. If the pickguard is already defective who cares if the sides are filed? It’s not like they can resell it? Hoping PayPal takes care of it!

Went to this place to get Locking tuners and the more I talk the higher the price went seem like they’re just out to get money not to really want to help people I would suggest guitar center or any other place other than Wd guitar The employees are very rude and not very helpful in fact I almost got into a Physical fight with the one overweight guy that works there I would never go back there not in 1 million years
