Weeks Auction Company LLC reviews
9 I used to go to auctions all that time when I was growing up with my dad and grandfather so I started young.
I like the way you can get a permanent bidding number, the ease of getting registered was great, the girls and guys in the office up front were very friendly and helpful for me and my son in law since it was our first time going here.
The only thing I don't like is having to bid against people that don't bother to come to the auction online. They are always saying some items are sold to the Internet. I feel if you want to buy from an auction you should have to attend to buy from it. I guess I'm old school.
Located in Ocala, Florida, not far off of I 75. Lots of farm equipment, automobiles and trucks. Containers and other miscellaneous items.
Wasted half a day here hoping for some good deals, guess I was wrong to expect that, but that's not really Weeks fault, just people with more money than mechanical knowledge.
What I can say though, is that the food was hot garbage. Got a $7 burger that was nothing more than boiled mystery meat, and a $3 basket of fries that tasted like they'd been in the freezer for 4 years.
The employees were nice and helpful, but the auctioneers made things confusing to where you didn't know if you were bidding for one item, multiple items, or a choice of two similar items.
Super super fun place! The staff is so friendly and helpful. I'm going here for every public auction!
I've always loved going to this auction, however here lately it seems like everyone wants new prices for old stuff. Most stuff gets passed on because it's a no sale, the seller always wants more money than it's worth. What's the point of taking it to an auction if you don't want to sell it? I still love the auction and the way they run things.
Tried to ask for prices on phone and they make you go there and figure it out on your own. Waste of trip, gas and time.
Waited over 2 weeks for a check
Went to cash check and they didn’t have check on “positive pay” a program with their bank to ensure they wrote the check?
Office is manager is very rude. "Too busy to deal with you" Not my problem. Learn to run your business and handle your responsibilities.
Edit to this:
The owners son called me to takeover the situation. He answered all my questions and everything was handled and solved in less than a single business day. I appreciate him but am still disappointed with the original interaction I had with a someone whos supposed to be a manager.
Monthly auction open to the public you're allowed to pull in drive around look at everything there unrestricted get in and out of vehicles then you come on the auction day with money in hand and bid your little heart out you got enough money you own it pay for it and take it home they do title transfer and tag transfer right there on premises to buyers market hope you brought enough money
