Wekiva Golf Club reviews
19Course is not worth $55! Maybe $30 if lucky, the fairways are awful, tee boxes need a lot of work too. Won't be returning until improvements are made
Horrible course conditions. Fairways were not maintained, greens had dead spots, just generally not maintained well. Guy in the pro shop was rude…I was told when I booked the tee time that 9 hole rate after 12 noon was $28. Was charged $35 when I got there, and the guy was a jerk about it when I questioned it. The course is not worth $5 dollars. Don’t waste your time or money!
Played first time today. No starter with 10 people waiting to tee off ahead of us. Probably the most sand traps of any course I've ever played. Fairways are not well maintained. Greens were fair at best. Dont expect to return. Only plus, free ice and water available outside clubhouse.
Staff is great. Course was in decent shape. Fairways and greens had patches of weeds and growth throughout. Some of the tee boxes didn't have any grass. But for $45, can't expect too much more. It was still fun. Nice course layout. In the same price range, try Winter Pines Golf Club. Much better shape and nicer carts. Casselberry Golf Course is also good. I would rank them 2 after Winter Pines, then Wekiva.
I was pleasantly surprised after reading many negative reviews. The course is not in great condition, but it’s not bad either. Great value for the price compared to other local courses this time of year.
Excellent practice facility only drawback not very much grass on driving range. Very nice personnel
Late tee time, staff could not confirm payment made on their website, treated poorly and lack of golf carts. Enjoyed the golf with family.
The staff are awesome but the golf course needs improvement. Some of the fairways need immediate attention and many of the greens are not a joy to putt.
Always a good time at Wekiva Golf Club. Did not play that well but the one thing I notice about this particular course is the people who work here are some of the nicest you will find running a golf course. Top notch all the way around.
The club manager SUSAN was HIGHLY unprofessional…. She needs her position rebuked ASAP. NEVER have been cussed at by a manger that is representing a company.
I use to consider Wekiva my home course. Played it frequently throughout the week and occasionally on the weekends. Recently took my son to play and the greens were in horrible condition, crab grass all over hole 1. That’s the first impression you give to a customer and it was severely lacking. I’ve seen it in much better condition, for the steep price I’d play elsewhere.
Employees are nice, the golf course definitely needs some work. Some of the worst greens I’ve ever played.
Played this course 3 years ago was in decent shape, played today and it is the worst course i ever played golf on.fairways are all sand.stumps no grass and there were no tee boxes.greens had growths of some kind on every one.charged $58, isn't worth $25.00.told county took it over and was working on it but didn't see anyone working plus guy behing counter was rude and they didn't have any keys for carts which didn't have brakes anyway. STAY AWAY
I am going to give this 5 stars. As of March 2022, they are starting to fix this place up. Seminole County is now the owner. I see investment already. It will only get better.
As always the personnel are great. Compliments to John at the front desk. By enlarge the greens were in very good condition, but the fairway we're not as good as the last round. My ball always seem to be in a depression where there was on The fairway or the rough.
Decent basic course. Back nine is definitely nicer than the front. Well worth the money, staff is friendly and helpful
I was in the area for a wedding that took place on 2-4-22 and golfed thw following day 2-5-22 before driving back south to Fort. Lauderdale and the course is not in good shape at all. It's not even in decent shape. Tee boxes were pretty bare on most holes as if you were hitting out of a bunker. Since I golfed after 12pm the rate was $50. I could find courses in MUCH better shape to play for around $30 back home. The layout was very simple. Hole 17 par 3 was the most challenging and probably the only real water hazard. Considering how many lakes are in the area its a very dry course, maybe 2 holes had water hazards. The greens were bumpy and played very fast. The hole locations were challenging which i enjoyed and the staff was very friendly. That's about the only two positive things I can say about the course. Everything else needs major work.
I live 3 mins and if this course wasn’t way over price. For a medicore layout and poor conditions. I’d gladly drive 30 mins then walk out my back gate and start playing
