Wicked Barley Brewing Company, Jacksonville FL

The beer (double stout) was a glorious explosion of flavor cascading across my taste buds. The burger would have been the same but it was lacking a little something. Bun was great, Patty cooked perfectly, butter was nice, bacon was bacon, but it just needed a little more salt or acidity to bring it home.

I hate coming here because there's almost never any parking. Food here never does it for me. The beers and friends that enjoy this place is what keeps me coming back.

Last visit they had this coconut beer that is awesome. Didn't enjoy the pretzel brat very much, nor the pork rinds.

The brewery claims to be your second home. They are right. I stop on my way home from work often. I am always greeted with the most welcoming staff. Everyone here is about the customer. Everyone here is trying to have a good time while providing excellent service. If you are looking for a favorite place to chill and relax with a craft brew, Wicked Barley is the place for you. Becky, Lindsey, Fallon, Tristin, Jordan and the biggest smile from Hannah all come together to make your visit something to remember. (I am a picky Person, to the point of not going somewhere from one bad experience. This review is more than I usually provide due to the amazing staff). The owners of this place seem to have put their trust in a few people who have the same passion for the business as the owners. This translates to a business they manage as if it were their own business. Do yourself a favor and stop by Wicked Barley. You will not be disappointed.

Relaxed brewery/pub vibe. Simple table set up inside with outside deck & picnic table seating out back. Pub Grub menu served on metal trays. Vinegar potato chips were excellent. Bratwurst w/pretzel bun was delicious. Beers to go in a cooler by the front door.

Food staff needs work.
They forgot our order to start and had to come back to ask again, then brought the wrong food for our kids.literally said "Grilled Cheese" as they handed us a PB&J. Good laugh. Next they gave us the wrong drinks (2 tables mixed up). Adult orders were missing items as well. They have little plastic meat-doneness markers and mine was LITERALLY IN my burger.not sticking out, not on top of the arugula.actually buried in the (albeit tasty) meat. I only found it by biting into it thankfully not ripping open my gums. Then I mentioned it nonchalantly to our waiter who passed to the cooks, and they laughed at me. LAUGHED. Garlic-ginger fries were indelible as there was zero garlic and all ginger, but I wasn't about to send it back after the laughter out of fear of retaliation. Had to ask twice for napkins and no offer to fix anything. Used to love this place with the limited menu, but the expansion and additude leaves us looking for better experiences.

Nice place both indoor and outdoor. Great selection of brews and excellent food, at least what I had was. I was there on Tuesday, when they have a taco trio special for $6 that was really good, and comes with chips and salsa. I paired the tacos with an IPA, made for a good night.

Great place to grab a drink and relax. The outdoor area is nicely laid out and offers room for dogs and kids.

Wicked Barley is a really cool spot to get some good beer and unique pub food by car or by boat.

The new turf beer garden with the shade tent overhead is a really nice touch as well.

Sometimes I will come out for an early morning paddle and pull up to the kayak launch for brunch paired with beermosas or cinnamon toast crunch porter when it's available which is delicious!

Super cool atmosphere. They do need better parking options. I saw people park across the street but were sorta flirting with danger trying to run back to their car after drinking. Sooooooo.yeah.

Overall not impressed. Their food menu is very limited and over priced even for the time. The service was less then up to par. I'm not much of a drinker so I can speak to the alcohol. However, if you are coming to this place for food and a decent atmosphere. You better off going to McDonald's. PS. Unless it's alcohol don't expect a refill.
Pss. Management did what they could to make it right but I think that. People need to know before coming.

Super friendly staff, and extremely busy location. However I'm sorry to say, I believe this place is highly overrated. The beers were just meh, the mead was bad. Service was super slow when sitting outside, but at the bar servers were speedy and super friendly and knowledgeable about their brew's.

Great burgers. Great beer. Family friendly. Really nice staff. Our favorite when we have out of town company

I'm a big fan of wicked! It's an awesome place with the coolest outside vibe. A dock to pull up your boat to, a beach to pull up on your kayaks and awesome beer and burgers and sandwiches to boot. I give it a 4 star because of the service from the server we received was down right horrible. I think we saw him all of 4 times. Waited 20 minutes for him to bring out beers. Even the other servers didn't know where he was when we asked for him.

Good brew, food and atmosphere. Service was great and many seating options, indoors & outdoors.

Look. Everyone loves your beer selection. It's great. But you need to understand: if someone orders the IMPOSSIBLE BURGER it should be presumed that they are vegan or vegetarian. This must be cooked on a separate surface or pan. Otherwise my food is coated in meat grease. Even burger King can figure this out. I can't be the first to bring this to your attention.

Rachel was the absolute best! She made she we got a table as soon as we could and took care of everyone waiting for a table. She was the best and I’d come back because of the service she provided and making sure we were taken care of!

Great place. Came by for a quick beer and will definitely be back for more since Im moving close by.
