Bistro Wild Olive reviews
29Crab cakes were the best I have ever had in my life, the salmon meal was absolutely amazing and the cinnamon roll cheesecake was to die for. Everything I ate was a 10/10. My only regret is that I didn’t find this place sooner. BEST PLACE IN CRESTVIEW.
Best around! Great family environment, great food, great service- McDuffie Family does a fantastic job in this community
Used to be our favorite place, but last time the service was slow and fish was dry. Very noisy, too. Desserts are amazing.
Overpriced food in small portions, menu changes every day. Cheapest thing on the menu was a $17 salad.
First time here and the food was so delicious I forgot to take a picture to add with my review. Highly recommend. Came during breakfast hours. Steak and grits is a dream come true for a southern girl like myself.
Lovely atmosphere and excellent service even on a busy night. The food was great too, especially the crispy duck.
I usually love eating here but after the last time I won’t be back. My card was charged 2 times for $138 and one for $147 the waiter voided them but still takes 3 to 5 business days before it’s released. I gave the waiter a $40 tip in cash for my $138 bill and I put $120 in cash in the book with my debit card to cover the $18 difference. My waiter brought back the book with all the cash gone and a receipt for $138 after questioning him he stated he got confused and went a voided the $138 and charged my card again for $38 (should have been $18 because I gave him $120 in cash but I didn’t catch that at first) I decided to check my account as we were sitting at the table and saw the $138 charge and another charge for $147 I asked him about and he stated it was a mistake and he had voided it. As soon as I figured out he didn’t charge me the right amount (the $38 and not the $18) I called and spoke to a lady who said she would handle it and call me back but never did! They have great food but I will never go back the waiter basically tried to give him self a $160 tip by taking the $40 tip and the $120 in cash but still charging my debit card the full $138 bill
This place was great! Constand quality service even for a large group! Great food, all around top notch restaurant!
The alfredo with shrimp & the chicken parmesan were quite SALTY. If you are not a person who salts their food, then you won't like this. My husband & I don't use salt. However, we do use sea salt for flavor - while cooking. But even then, we are careful. Not ALOT of choices on the menu for supper. Cheesecake for dessert was good, but expect to pay $8 per slice. For a family owned business, they are quite expensive! 2 main entree's with 2 salads, 2 iced teas with refills & 2 pieces of cheesecake made from scratch. Our bill was $66.00 & some change, plus tip! I have had BETTER for Less & my main course wasn't full of SALT.
We really enjoyed the food, even with a large group the service was great. I would like to return to try other menu items before possibly giving another
Great food and great staff! I will go back every time I'm in town! We had fried green tomatos, egg rolls, fried calamari and shrimp, salad, chicken and sausage gumbo, chicken parmesan, and amazing desserts, all of it was so delicious!
My wife and I eat here quite often. Our dinner tonight was awesome as usual. I had the oven roasted chicken and my wife had the chicken parmesan. 2 Thumbs up We got a pc of carrot cake to go.
BYOB! This place was surprisingly amazing. Just passing through and looking for something other than bar food and was left overly satisfied. Seriously, try the filet. Expertly cooked to perfect temperature and soooo yummy. Duck breast was delicious too. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Took oreo cheesecake to go to haveat home with red wine, yuuum. Great service too. And that focaccia bread.
Fresh, delicious food, homemade salad dressings. Love their bread, dipped in seasoned olive oil! A little classier then some of the other restaurants located in town. Prices do reflect quality. Expect to pay a little more then you would for lunch at other restaurants in town. Average lunch cost with tip is $12 - $18, give or take, depending on what you order.
Great food and always a friendly smile from the staff. Definitely must try the breakfast there!
Love this gem of a restaurant. Food is always excellent and the service is friendly and engaging.
Felt warm and inviting food was great would go back when in the area again. Would recommend to anyone that is nearby.
First time there, went for a birthday dinner. Food was so good. Pricing was reasonable for the quality of meal. Although didn't realize that they don't serve wine, but you can bring your own. Will go again.
We always love coming here. The food is phenomenal you never want to stop eating. Definitely my #1 favorite food place in Crestview. And the classiest place in town. I love that I can dress down or dress up to go here and still feel comfortable. I also love that it’s BYOA which gives it a laid back feel, for me anyways. The staff is always warm and welcoming like you are family. Today our waitress was Heather and she was very kind and patient and we really can’t wait for our next visit.
Such a good experience! Everyone was very polite and the food was amazing! Waiter was excellent and the atmosphere was so peaceful!
