This man is not fit to care for human beings.
I was a potential patient who had fear of surgery and he accused me IN WRITING OF NOT BEING MENTALLY COMPETENT.
He had zero people skills.

I referred a friend over to Dr. Figlesthaler and he had a fantastic experience. Going through medical issues can be frightening. Dr. Figlesthaler and his whole staff truly care! This doctor is by far the best urologist. He is extremely knowledgeable, fully educates you on all options, takes his time, responds quickly and a phenomenal surgeon. It is no wonder people travel from all over the world for his care.

Dr. Figlesthaler is an excellent and caring physician. A good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Figlesthaler, my friend is a patient of Dr. Figlesthaler. I am a snowbird and didn't have a urologist in Naples and relied on my friends reference. My friend was right, Dr. Figlesthaler and staff are great, professional and caring, but most importantly Dr. Figlesthaler is a gifted physician. I trust Dr. Figlesthalers advice and skills dealing with my body! If you need medical help or are new to Naples and are looking for an excellent urologist, this is the Doctor for you, he is good!

Kudos to Dr. Figlesthaler and his talented team for making my visit so effortless. Despite the large volume of patients, there was very little waiting time and Dr. Figlesthaler took all the time that was needed to explain my medical condition, my test results and the medications that he prescribed. I have recommended Encore Urology to several of my friends.

Dr. Figlesthaler is an amazing surgeon. I know this because I worked for him for about 5 years and during that time he operated on my father in law for prostate cancer and treated my brother in law and my husband for kidney stones. Both of my parents are physicians in Connecticut my father is a general surgeon so I’ve asked for his advice on many medical concerns. He agreed that Dr. F is one of the best in his field. He’s confident, smart and very caring. He was one of the best employers I ever worked for and treated us like family which is rare. He will always hold a special place in my heart for taking care of my father in law and for being so good to me when I worked for him. If you need a Urologist in Naples you need to see him.

Dr. Figlesthaler was an excellent surgeon, but his reputation is tainted by his partnership in Urology Associates of Naples who poisoned my wife and have denied any responsibility in the damage that was caused!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Figlesthaler and his staff. He referred me to Dr. Bossinger (his associate). Dr. B was kind, compassionate and an excellent surgeon. Dr. F popped in to say hello, hold my hand and reassure me that I’d be just fine and feeling better in a day or two. Great men, and excellent care! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

As a doctor in an emergency situation, he was excellent; unfortunately, his office never forwarded the tests that my local urologist needed. So I am disappointed.

3 Hour Wait time is unacceptable. Well I stand corrected, after 2 weeks of pain and the doctor back from vacation I was set for a followup and was called by his office to confirm.i was hoping for a plan to get this taken care of once and for all. Well his office called to tell me they could no longer treat me and I could pick up my files. I have no idea why he has done this. Very Unprofessional if you ask me. This is probably because I wrote this. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. Well the plot thickens and I found out why he no longer wants me as a patient. It seems that I have ruffled his feathers with this post, which is all true, These are not the kind of actions I expect to see from a Professional or should I say lack of!

He embodies everything that is wrong with conventional mention. He is arrogant and short tempered. He saw me for six minutes and based on an incorrect diagnosis prescribed three very dangerous drugs. The drugs destroyed my immune system and I have never recovered. It is unlikely that he would be able or willing to compensate me for losing ten years of my life.

At Dr. Figlesthalers office brought someone in for procedure and follow to get
Results of tests. When we showed up (15 mins before appt.) were told he was
running on Time. 1 1/2 hours later still sitting waiting. Asked again at 5 pm and
Told one person ahead of him, so far 2 people have gone in and not him. He had
to come to my house because so much pain and couldn't drive to their office.
If not for the results wouldn't wait any longer and walk so discussted.

Wouldn't even be here except Physician called him after post and wanted redemption
So he gave him another chance, and he gave him the benefit but back too what started.
Should have just seen the other Urologist instead, my ex-father in- law was a Urologist
And never treated patients like this. He scheduled appropriately and never had his nurse/
Receptionist book patients appropriately.

I work in the medical profession and will never recommend this Physician to anyone friends,
Patients because how his staff and physician do business.

Dr. Figlesthaler gave me my life back. I was diagnosed with acute kidney failure and hospitalized 5 weeks before the procedure. I had an outpatient procedure at Physicians Regional with Dr. Figlesthaler and it's now day 2 and all is great! Dr. Figlesthaler is very direct and to the point, which I appreciate. While in the hospital the first time and though the procedure he was very genuine in his bedside manner and made me feel very confident in what was happening. Getting rid of the Foley is wonderful. A couple of weeks of healing and I'll be good as new. I highly recommend he and his practice team. I will warn you, waiting can be a problem. He is so busy that it does get a bit backed up. I'm willing to wait for the best.

He is kind and thoughtful. My husband has many health problems and has a difficult time communicating, Dr. Figlesthaler took the time to listen to his issues. It is appreciated. Outstanding Doctor! !
