I called this store to see to obtain some information and make a purchase. Jake (or Eric) picked up the phone and he was very unpleasant, not willing to help. His excuse is I’m new so I don’t know about that. I asked to talk with manager and Jake (or Eric, can’t even hear what his name is) left me on the phone for 30 minutes. I finally hang up. They really don’t want business

I love visiting the shop every time I come to Winter Park. For some reason I used to think that the prices were higher, but this time they just didn’t seem that elevated. The store is always changing, and the decor and variety is always exceptional. I love that they absolutely have everything you were looking for as a chef. Everything is displayed so well, clean, bright… It’s a delight to visit here.

This store location is disorganized and doesn't care about your time. I went in for an Interview didn't hear anything back until a week later and they ask me to come back. I drive 30 minutes and get there and wait. The manager comes out notices me and says "I'll be just a second" takes the other 2 back" and makes me wait an hour just for her to send a normally employee out to say "oops we didn't mean to call you back" She could have sat them down in the back came out and literally take 10 seconds to tell me that but instead she made me sit an hour and wate my time. I wasn't even worth the time for her to come out herself and tell me. If this is the way the manager of the store treats people, I could only imagine how they treat their customers.

I've never been treated so warmly in a store before! The c sales associate treated my like a good friend rather than a random stranger just walking into his job. I got some lavender cedarwood dishsoap and Mac & cheese. The soap smells like a spa! It makes me actually want to wash dishes! I've NEVER felt that way in my life before. I haven't tried the Mac & cheese yet but hopefully it's nummy nummy.

Not what I expected walking into this store.
Went running an errand for a client who had called ahead so that the associates could put some merchandise aside for me to pick up. Walked in, was greeted by a sweet gal. As I walked up to the counter, another two associates were just chatting it up. Didn’t even acknowledge me. So I waited. When they finally got done with whatever conversation was more important than attending to a customer, I proceeded to explain that I was there to pick something up for my client. Back and forth on the walkie-talkies, no one could figure out what I was there for. Finally, someone brings what I was there for up to the front and there was a line already created behind me. So, this man, I wish I would’ve gotten his name, but he knows exactly who he is decided to call the lady the was behind me to the other side and has the nerve to say “come over here, she’s caused enough commotion for us”. Ummmm I wasn’t aware that calling ahead for something and you guys not having it was such a burden on you, Sir! You didn’t even leave the front to help. And if you’re itching to talk about a paying customer in front of everyone, don’t.

I’ve been shopping here for quite some time, and I’m also a shareholder. Quite frankly, the service at the checkout has gone down hill. I went after Christmas to return a knife, and the poor associate had no idea how to return an online purchase. The manager, a lady whom I can’t remember her name, couldn’t have been less interested in helping her learn how to return it. So, it took quite a while. Perhaps the worst thing was the associate said out loud that she had no idea how to do it and so usually when online products came in for a return, she gave it to another guy who would do it for her. This means the manager hasn’t even bothered to take the time to train her, and no one seems concerned that she has incomplete training. Then fast forward to today, there were five employees hovering around the check out. One actually made direct eye contact with me, and I raised my eyebrows like are you going to help me because the person at the register, the one register that was open, was busy helping another guest (wrapping a marble cheese platter). Nope. They have three registers. So since none of the five employees were going to assist me, I put my item down and left. What is going on here? It needs fixing and soon. I don’t know why I bother going into the store anymore.

Needed a replacement knife. I was helped professionally. But the attendant was a way to careful with the way she handled the merchandise. It was in a protective box, relax or get someone else to help the customer if you don't like kitchen knifes.

If you like paying for overpriced items, this is the store for you. Id rather go to Amazon or Ikea.get nearly IDENTICAL items at one third the price.
