24I called to ask if they had a specific plant in stock. The person on the phone told me he was too busy to go and look but that I am welcomed to drive out there and look for myself. Hopefully this was just a low level employee and not the owner because that was a terrible response for an inquiry.
This nursery has huge and they have a great inventory. My first impression was not the best because as I was greeted by a middle-aged female associate that did not seem very happy or helpful, I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or didn't want to be on there on the weekend but she answered my questions very shortly and pointed things out, did not offer to walk me anywhere and seemed irritated when I asked for plant-specific advice (which they claim to offer freely and happily on their website) so I had resolved to find the plants I needed and watch a YouTube video to do the rest. Then Hunter came to help me, he said he had just moved to Florida and answered all of my questions happily. He even pulled the wagon/cart around for me and placed my plants at the front of the store while I shopped (because I was wearing a baby carrier). Because of hunters wonderful customer service I will be visiting this nursery again.
Always helpful and friendly, with healthy plants. Beautiful grounds too. Highly recommend Willow Tree.
We came in today to price out all new plants, pots and decor for our remodel.
Everything was great until the kid, Xavius? , who had a wrinkly shirt at the front counter checked us out. We had our three kids with us, and we told our middle to child to not touch anything. Then the young kid working the register said “maybe if you told her how fragile they are she wouldn’t touch” in a very obvious sarcastic tone. I’m assuming this kid is a management child due to him being allowed to wear a wrinkly shirt and not be professional at all to the customers.
Willow tree nursery will never see us again, and as reviews go Unfortunately people say more negatives then positive to friends/family to experiences they have. Unfortunately I will never talk highly about Willow Tree Nursery after my trip today, which is unfortunately because their decor, plans and overall varieties were exceptional
