WillowBrooke Apartments, Lakeland FL

I am a recent arrival to the Willowbrooke Community and I have nothing but good things to say so far. I can not speak for everyone who lives here, but this is the best apartment I have stayed in (been in multiple with family and 1 other by myself). The office staff Luciano helped answer every question I had to get through the leasing process and after moving in he checked in on us and gave us a very nice welcoming package with some emergency move in supplies. We did use some right away so thanks again Luciano! Linda was also the one to show us the first apartment tour and answered the phone several times when I called. She answered any questions I had or found Luciano to get the answer very quickly.

I feel like they truly care here, I feel safe here, I feel like the community is welcoming, and the apartments have a lot of space. There were some issues when I moved in (very minor to me), but the office staff said they would get work orders put in for maintenance to take care of those as soon as possible. If you are looking for a place that has a wonderful view, great community, feels comfortable, and is right next to a TON of shopping areas, I would 100% recommend Willowbrooke!

This complex is peaceful, and there is plenty of shade to go for a walk. Pet friendly. Office staff is so caring and thoughtful. Maintenance requests were taking care of very quickly. The pool is always impeccable. Great location and so close Target.

I’m moving out because the prices are beyond my budget, but I loved the three years that I lived here.

The maintenance staff upgraded my apartment due to the significant rent increase. They did a very poor, sloppy job. They painted the cabinets and counter tops and got paint splatters on the walls & floors of the apartment. They also got paint on some personal items that were stored in the dining room. Would rather not have them upgraded my kitchen or bathroom at all

From the minute I drove up to the property I knew I wanted to live here. The grounds are beautiful with tons of trees and bright green grass! The day of the tour was perfect Linda assisted us in picking out the best place with a view! And she was so pleasant to work with. A month later was our move in day and I was so happy with the apartment and the cleanliness of everything! When we arrived Austin (maintenance supervisor) was inside making sure everything was just right for us even had the a/c turned on which was a blessing on our moving day lol! And to top it off he was so friendly. Thanks everyone for making this a truly pleasurable experience! Also their was an extremely helpful and nice young man that answered my calls but I did not catch his name.

Great leasing staff! The apartments are really nice. Willowbrooke is definitely one of my top 5.

Heather B is fun and very knowledgeable! She makes me smile and I enjoy her training. She puts a lot of effort in training and I greatly appreciate her!

WHY would you want to stay a appointment where some of the CREWS are RUDE you to TALK TO YOU ANY HOW. GIVING A HEADS UP IT ONE OF THE WOMENS BAD CUSTOMERS SERVICE RUDS AS PEOPLE

Willowbrook is the most impressive complex I've ever lived in. All of the staff and neighbors are friendly. Maintenance requests are always filled in a timely manner. The yard and overall appearance is kept clean and maintained. And the monthly food trucks are an awesome bonus!

I really like the office staff, they are very friendly and they treated me very well
The green areas are well maintained and all surroundings of the property are well clean

UPDATE to first review of Black Mold they, lied, commented perjury and put my sons health and my health at risk well the tried to sue me but They lost! Heather god don't like ugly and now I am counter suing you for way more then the 4k you all tried to sue me for! You do realize I am going to sue way more then what your company tried to sue me for, you had no right I am supposed to be notified of my deposit within 15 days and yet here it is going on a year you falsified court documents and lied about when I moved out and about the mold So since no one is telling me about my deposit I will sure for 1400.00 plus what ever is allowed by the FLA STATUE and what the court finds fair! Move if you can this is a mold infested complex that need to be condemned! Sorry you lost the law suit but that is what happens when the Defendant keeps all documentation's from day one! Thank You

It’s a typical apartment complex, to be honest with you… Nothing fancy here. Expect the typical community pool area, filled with young unsupervised screaming children and single mothers taking selfies. You’ll notice there’s an array of different police officers that live there, (which I’m not sure is comforting or concerning?) The rent costs as much as an actual stand-alone rental home locally, so unless you really enjoy spray painted countertops, paper thin walls, and a delightful view of either the side of Target, Chili’s, or the outrageously wealthy and condescending people that live behind the complex…your options are pretty limited. Parking is usually pretty full, so good luck in that department, too. Beware the second floor of each building, as you will likely have to wrestle through spiders, spiderwebs, and eternal clouds of mosquitoes and no-see-ums that reside there because of the 60’s style orange incandescent lighting and the fact that it is all basically surrounded by swamp land. The best news about the place is that it it’s less than a quarter mile away from the Polk Parkway. That will make an easy escape from the area to literally any of the adjacent, nicer areas of Florida.

Willowbrooke is simply an amazing place to call home! It's beautifully maintained and so peaceful, yet within walking distance of shopping, dining, and excellent entertainment! It's very safe, the staff are so kind and helpful, and the included amenities great for families and single people alike are next level awesome! The gym and pool are extremely impressive, the landscaping is gorgeous, and living here really is a delight. The affordability for the luxury is amazing! HIGHLY recommend experiencing coming home to Willowbrooke! (We especially appreciate Heather who is phenomenal at her job as manager! She truly cares for residents and moves mountains to meet their needs. WillowBrooke is one of those rare gems with its well trimmed shady large live oaks and meticulous kept grounds. It’s a quiet, peaceful and respectful complex with a cordial staff led by Heather, who really stays on top of things. Their attention to detail is amazing. The maintenance staff are professionals and do a great job addressing any issues you may have.

I can't say enough about this community! We moved here Nov 2019 and it has been absolutely amazing from the staff to the community itself. The grounds are very well maintained and I love how quiet it is. The apartment themselves have been renovated and are well maintained, and up-to-date. The bedrooms are very spacious and you definitely get your money's worth with the layout. The maintenance staff (Jim) has been absolutely amazing, always on top of any requests that are put in, seeing results within hours! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. It will be bittersweet as our lease comes to an end in June as we're leaving the area to be near family, but if circumstances were to change, I definitely would renew my lease for another 12 months. Thank you WillowBrooke for making us feel at home for the last year!

Loved Willowbrooke! The staff in the office (shoutout to Heather and Linda) were always very kind and communicative! The pool and gym are such nice features provided by the community, and I loved our apartment. Whenever we had any issues, even a broken lightbulb, staff would be right over to help you out. Great location where you can walk to Target or to Lakeside Villages.

If you are looking for a place to call home - look no further! Heather is always willing to help and have been on top of everything since day one.

Just curious why my truthful review of this Community was took down? I have pictures to prove and no I didn't bring this up before but Willowbrooke doesn't monitor who is coming in your apartment when your not home. Heather is a liar says the non contractor that isn't certified for mold, yes i would be more then happy to post that email from her and said companies statement, So by taking down my review just goes show you. Its all truth, and i wish Heather would be made to live in the apartment as is according to her its fine. Hahaha See you in court.
