Thank you for running an exceptional operation and maintaining a beautiful community while I healed from my nasty divorce. You guys were all wonderful to me.

When I was in need of a larger apartment this past August since my studio apartment wasn’t going to be conducive living space for my brother and I along with our 2 pugs, who are also brothers, my top notch realtor Trent Head scheduled an appointment for us to view a 2 bedroom apartment at the Metropolitan apartment complex located right off of the 5 corners section of Wilton Manors.
Originally I hadn’t even considered the Metropolitan as an option since I didn’t think it would be an option within my budget; however, I simply figured I’d take a look at the two bedroom unit in order to use it as a measuring stick against other two bedroom apartments that I would be looking at that would be within my budget, yet not have the quality and amenities that the Metropolitan would be able to offer to us.
Upon arrival, my realtor Trent Head introduced my brother and I to Glenda Dominguez, Yeny Carruitero and Zelinnette Albino since these three amazing women make up the staff at the Metropolitan who are in charge of leasing the available units.
These three beautiful professional women from the moment my brother and I stepped foot on the property, could not have been more helpful or more courteous or more professional if they had tried to be.
With the introductions having been made our viewing of the Metropolitan was off to a great start.
With Glenda, Yeny and Zelinnette being the face of this beautiful complex it only made sense that what would follow upon the completion of our initial visit would be my brother Keith and I signing a lease to live in this resort like apartment complex.
We all know that rents are high all across the country and the Wilton Manors neighborhood is no exception, so it was more than refreshing that we were able to come to an agreement on a lease that I truly consider to be a fair business deal.
I was taught by my father that the only fair business deals in life are the ones that both sides walk away from with a smile on their faces and that is exactly what our experience was like when we became residents in the Metropolitan apartment complex this past August.
My brother Keith and I along with our two brother pugs Lightning and Linus couldn’t be happier with our decision to live in the beautiful peaceful Metropolitan community.
We highly recommend that anyone (single or coupled or married or brothers, etc,) looking for an amazing community to meet great friendly neighbors and make their new home should without question make an appointment to view the studio, one bedroom, two bedroom or three bedroom apartments that may be available at the Metropolitan.
From the lovely staff of Glenda, Yeny and Zelinnette to the amenities and spacious apartments, the Metropolitan has so much to offer for a good fair price.
You will not regret your decision to include the Metropolitan in your future apartment search.

I'm a current resident of Metro, and this place really is adorable. It's comfortable, it has a top of the line interior architecture, nice people overall, great facilities, and the administration staff is amazing. We really have great maintenance. Oh, and its close to Wilton Drive so we don't have to drive to go to bars, we just walk out and are there in 5 mins, literally.

Wish I could afford to live here. I have several dog walking clients here. Beautiful location. Lovely abodes.

I love living at the Metro! I highly recommend living here It's just a two minute walk from Wilton Drive where they have the hottest restaurant and bars. I have a three bedroom here and i never hear any of my neighbors. The pool and gym are great! The trash valent is super convenient and always being able to park is a super plus! The office staff and maintenance is are very helpful and efficient. I love calling the metro my home <3

Moving into ‘The Metro’ has been an excellent decision. Rental communities can be tough because they are very good at putting their best foot forward and once you become a resident, the storyline shifts and what surfaces are faulty appliances, leaks, dirty pool, spotty elevator operation, paper thin walls, a management company that doesn’t care and/or tries to blame on you for problems etc, etc. We’ve all been there.

The Wilton Metropolitan management team has been consistent from the moment I was greeted at the leasing office. I have lived here for three years and they have maintained an exceptionally high level of professionalism, service maintenance, responsiveness, accessibility, friendliness and more. I have yet to come across a better run facility. I am comfortable in calling this place home and recommending it to anyone.

The units themselves are excellent living spaces, good appliances, good storage, are well built (I can’t recall the last time I heard any of my neighbors), energy efficient and well maintained. Then there are the facilities: The gym – small/medium sized, high quality equipment (so you can get a decent work out), always clean and everything always works. The pool/hot tub – Relaxing, the cabanas & chairs are put back in order every day, nothing is worn out, the pool & hot tub are always clean and well maintained. Bar-b-cue area – It’s part of the pool. There are three grills, outdoor sink, gas doesn’t run out, clean facility etc. Conference Room – Stylish, useful, it’s free, full kitchen attached. Onsite there are two large pup-parks, again, well maintained. Parking is never an issue and if need be you can rent a garage (I have one to keep my car out of the sun).

Nothing is infallible, hence things break. Since I’ve lived here the pool pump failed once…. It was fixed the following day. The handle on my microwave broke, fixed within 36hrs of sending the maintenance request. The grounds & pup park are very well maintained. The culture of the community is super friendly, I think a lot of that is down to the management team as they set a good tempo.

Sure, you can go more lux, I’ve looked into it and discovered ‘The Metro’ hits a sweet spot for it’s privacy & peacefulness yet walking distance from everything, there’s plenty of parking, it’s not just pet friendly but pet-responsible, great amenities and much more.

People regularly ask me about the train. Yes, the trains are loud, some can be really LOUD, but It’s a non-issue as the apartments are well insulated. I live in a 3 bed that is one unit deep from the tracks and my bedroom, living room and balcony face the tracks, the train noise is barely audible. If you want to hear it, you will have to listen for it. Also, there is zero vibration from the tracks.

The noise level here is excessive. Loud club music plays at the pool from early morning til late night, although it is supposed to be off by 7pm. Dogs are in the pool area every weekend and they are not supposed to be. The property is supposed to be smoke free, but our neighbors smoke on their patios, at the pool and at the entrance to the gym. There are junked cars and buses in the parking lot and alarm panels that malfunction and beep for days before management addresses them. The residents do not follow the rules for valet trash pick up. There is no valet service on the weekends and they just pile their trash up outside their apartment doors from Friday til Sunday, so we have to walk by trash piles to get to our apartment. Management leases the gym to trainers who train clients that don't live here, so the gym is always full of NON residents and trainers. I would not recommend this property if you are looking for a nice apartment home.

My apartment was excruciatingly uncomfortable. The ceiling is very loud when upstairs neighbors walk, especially when they walk barefoot. Lived in many buildings before, none as uncomfortable. I was on second floor in middle building. I got no help from management, they offered me to move to a higher floor for a higher price and a new full year lease, that was it.

I did enjoy living there however, I am disappointed that they charged me for the carpet replacement even though, I only used steps on the left side on the carpet in the bedroom area and I remembered the maintenance supervisor, Alexy did take a picture of it during walk in inspection.: (. This community do provide social events almost every months. The leasing agents are very nice and friendly and they also wonderful team. Thanks for sending me the security deposit refund. I am really appreciating.:)

Beautiful pool, clubhouse, but the architecture and interior apartments are ordinary. On the property, there are several dog parks, both on-leash and off-leash, which are well-used. There are even steady groups that become social groups. Progressive dinners and real social groups also are available.
I think Wilton Metropolitan is a good place to retire given all the amenities included.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! I've lived here for 3 years and have absolutely loved it. I've lived in many apartments over the last 10 years and Wilton Metropolitan is my absolute favorite. The grounds are well kept, the gym is spacious, super nice, and always clean, the apartment units are very nice and all have modern appliances, there are multiple dog parks, everyone that lives here is super friendly and welcoming. Most importantly though, the staff that runs this place is top notch! The ladies in the front office and the maintenance crew are all amazing and go above and beyond to take care of everyone. They're professional and courteous and you can tell that they truly care about this place and that they love their jobs. They respond immediately to any concerns or maintenance issues you have. The complex is conveniently located to so many things and within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc.plus the complex is always hosting events at the pool. I can not recommend Wilton Metropolitan enough! If I wasn't relocating for work than I would stay here for another 3+ years!
