Visited friends that were staying here. Great view of Gulf bit we like our Emerald Oasis at Beach Resort 506 better!

This is our 3rd time staying here. We have stayed in multiple units and have not had issues with the units which we have stayed in albeit some were better than others. Overall for a 4-7 day beach vacation it’s not much different than any other place, they all have pros and cons. This trip however revealed the bad side of this particular complex. There was serious flash flooding that occurred from a heavy rain not a hurricane or tropical storm and the facility was not remotely prepared for it. The problem that is really a dangerous and very frustrating problem is the flooding of Norwood Drive the one way in and out of the complex. Today and two days prior to, the flooding was up to waist deep and we were unable to drive out of the parking lot in our vehicle safety until the 3rd day we were here. We were expecting more rain tonight and I have no idea how we are going to get out so we decided to leave early and cut our trip short. I had to walk in waist deep water for a considerable walk both ways to go get groceries. I know that they cannot control weather but they need to get a huge sump pump over here and pump this water out ASAP. I will not be staying here again due to this. Also the beach chair rental attendant might possibly be the most rude and condescending individual I have ever encountered. He was a complete and total jacka$$ to my wife and I had to confront him about it and I literally yelled at the guy to tell him to quit speaking to me and he would continue to keep telling me what to do and where he was going to sit us. I told him I didn’t want to sit and we were leaving and he continued on. He treats people like they are completely unable to read his whiteboard with directions and talks down to them in a very condescending manner and he has no sense of customer service or how to wait and let someone ask a question or make a comment. Again the units are ok and the property management/ rental company of our particular unit was ok but the on site HOA and management staff are horrendous and I would not recommend staying here.

Love the condo. Beautiful views. Not allowed to have your own umbrella inside the “horseshoe” even if you are keeping your baby protected from the sun for a short time or trying to nurse your baby in private. I was placed in the very back. I wanted to very briefly watch my son skim board while keeping my baby shaded (for 10 minutes). Don’t get your hopes up if you want to get chairs up front. They aren’t day by day reservations.

We have been to windancer before, and this is our 3rd stay at Windancer condos. Before our units were clean and no work required before we unpacked. This time we stayed at unit 208. The unit was was out dated and was not clean. We had an entire curtain panel missing from our patio door. God and everyone else could look in at night. We had black feet within the first 30 minutes from a dirty floor, and the main carpet was filthy. We called and very nice maid was dispatched to clean the floors and bring more towels. Amanda was the cleaning girl. Very nice and polite. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

Unannounced construction during our stay. The AC wasn't working properly all week. Sheets were dirty and some were moldy upon arrival. Honestly, wouldn't book again for that price. Beach was nice though.

Went for a week to Miramar Beach. Winddancer condos are perfect! Nice updated interiors with plenty of space! Nice clean private pool and private beach with white sand. Close to the famous outlet stores, Chic fil a, and numerous other convenient stores. I recommend renting a scooter and cruising. Had a blast. Will recommend to anyone going to Destin, Florida!

Absolutely horrible. I would give no stars if that was an option. We arrived to an extremely dirty condo, including what looks like drug paraphernalia and lingerie in a bathroom and sand in the bedsheets. Roaches on the balcony. What a disgrace. The condo itself is extremely outdated, which would have been easily overlooked had it not been so foul. We drove over 14 hours to be here and wish we would have never come. I have a newborn daughter and am afraid for her health in this disgusting condo. We deserve our money back at the very least. Management does not seem
to care. What a shame. I will never stay here again.

Average. The upstairs carpet in 406 was filthy and the comforter had small blood spots near the top.
The elevator broke our third night but it was fixed by 10 the next morning. Probably the most disappointing thing is the beach chair set up. You are supposed to be moved up as people check out but we were moved back. We never got to sit near the surf or with a nice unblocked view.

Excellent stay
This was me and my family’s second stay! Great price, great view, and has a great view of the ocean. We could walk 5 steps and be on the beach.
Awesome rooms, it’s close to alot of shops and malls. If i had one complaint it would be tge bathroom is kinda small but overall iwould recommend this place 5/5 stars will be back soon! Ps make sure to get all the sand off of you before you get into the bed

The location and access to the beach was great, however the unit 108 we were staying in was very outdated and the condo itself appeared to be not cleaned to our standards considering the situation with Covid. I ended up cleaning the entire condo after 10 hours of driving! There were handprints on the glass door! But we enjoyed the beach very much!
The condo would deserve some TLC from the owner like removing the rust from the bathroom, painting the walls and replace old dirty rugs in the bathrooms, clean the sofa and replace the pillows on the sofa.

Had a nice view. Unit was pretty average for the price. Access to the beach was great. Need to change what they do on the beach for your chairs and umbrella, went 5 days sitting in the very back were we were placed looking at chairs that were never sat in all day in the front by ocean. Wasn't sure if we needed to bribe the beach attendant or what. Then when you ask the attendant has an attitude about placement.
