DON'T DO IT! Ten years ago having just greenstream (a phone line only for DSL) and basic DSL with Windstream cost around $56 dollars. Almost every month since then it's steadily gone up. Last bill was $91 and this current one is $100! WHAT A RIP OFF! And the service gets interrupted all the time and is so slow and frustrating. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They went bankrupt and seem to be offsetting their losses to their customers. Just switched to T-Mobile for a home internet and phone package and an saving OVER $50 a month for very fast unlimited data (no more Windstream or Verizon for us!).

The internet is not for WFH or job interviews over video. No service 3 days this week. Speeds on a working day are 1.2 mbps to 40. Zoom and Meets drop. Apple TV won’t play. I’ve lost many jobs due to this internet. My hotspot from phone is faster and what I now use for work.

Windstream does not even rate a one star. I work from home and had to take a whole day off last week due to the internet being down. Now, three days without internet, I am going to have to take at least one more day if not two. I am so cancelling and getting Xfinity

The food was over cooked and they only gave me 15 pieces of chicken when I ordered a 16 piece. They also forgot my side of Cajun fries. But the manager was very understanding and helpful. They fixed my order right away.

I just spent over an hour on the phone with Customer service and was hung up on. Again. We have had a problem with our service for 6 weeks now.

This is for a customer that spends over $10k a month for over 8 years. I know we have been with Windstream for 8 years because they thank me when they answer the phone.

Today was the final straw. For the last 6 weeks we have been trying to make a change to our account. At first they told us that they did not manage our phone numbers, and told me to call another company. Eventually they realized that they had lost the numbers.

What I have been told is that they lost lots of phone numbers in a platform upgrade 2 years ago. They have no way of knowing who the phone numbers belong to unless you call in and tell them. They have been unable to add the numbers back to our account.

So far we have spent a combined 40+ hours on the phone over a 6 week period. Not to mention productivity lost. I have been promised return phone calls over a dozen times. I have received zero.

I have also been hung up on at least 4 occasions. Today I was told that I would be transferred to his supervisor. He said he was going to put me on hold. I never heard hold music but I heard him in a co-worker laughing. And then he seemed to realize that I was still on the phone and he hung up on me.
