Grocery Store Winn-Dixie reviews
14 We do all our grocery shopping here when we are visiting our dad in Florida.
They have a lot of selections of everything and a really nice liquor shop.
Good store. Close to home. Read the shelf tags carefully. Good people work there. Since they did the redesign, the prices are sky high. Only shop on the weekends. Miss the old store. The way the checkout computers work is very confusing.
Edit: Just went there today. Prices are very high and selection is not very good. So very sad. For the same price Publix is a better call.
Too expensive and have robot cashier. Their greed is over the top and I look forward to them being gone.
Nice store right here in Barefoot Bay, although the pricing on some items is a little steep.
Some prices are reasonable while others are not even their own brands sometimes are priced more than the commercial products
So much better than the Sebastian store. Friendly people, stocked shelves cleaner.night and day
Winn-Dixie has a lot of potential. It's just not ran well. It's not the management they are great It's the business as a whole. Aldis bought them let's see if there is a change. Also we lost the pharmacy in barefoot and that we really needed here.
Terrible shopping at Winn-Dixie, no cashier's to cash us out, my wife and I will never be back to your store, and when I asked the girl to cash me out she said I had to use the self checkouts and she refused to cash us out, I'll never shop at Winn-Dixie again! Someone else will get our $200 a week business like Publix, they always have cashiers on duty!
Always a great experience and everybody is so helpful. Especially Joe in the meat department.
Never crowded. They carry my favorite ice cream Turkey Hill brand! Nice staff and very clean store.
Winn Dixie for my taste has better produce than Publix. However, some of the stores especially Wal-Mart freeze fruit, bread, and veggies and sell them as fresh. The poor consumer has zero idea how old this stuff really is, and then charge me exorbitant prices for tasteless fruit and veggies. These are crazy times with everyone trying to fool everyone. Where is the United States?
The workers will literally sit there and talk about customers it's super weird and unprofessional. The meat or sea food department old lady is one of them.unfortunately did not catch her name.
Bread and wine. Meat and vegetables. Convenient! Weekend sales. Bogo's save money. Eat dessert first.
Ice cream. Klondikes!
Love this Winn-Dixie, I really do, but one of the newer employees doesn't know how to use EBT cards. She said that she can't use it if I don't know my card amount. In the 2 years I've had my EBT card I've never had an issue with this. If the store needs to know her name, I don't know it, but she is a little overweight with shoulder length curly hair. Date and Time when I was there was 7/27 around 4: 30PM. Teach your new employees how to use EBT otherwise I'm not coming back, or avoiding that employee like the plague. I had to guess my balance and I wasn't able to use $35 of it! I get EBT for a reason!
