I’m not sure why windixie all seems to get a bad rap. I know some of their stores are on bad sides of town but every one I’ve been into has been clean and the employees are always friendly and for the most part knowledgeable. They have a bunch of buy one get one free sales each week! And the produce is always fresh. I’ll continue to shop here over the over priced Publix.

Greetings are pleasant and everyone who is a Winn Dixie employee are so helpful. Checking out is average just like any other store. I enjoy but 1 get 1. Well worth shopping at the store. Not only groceries but multiple household items etc,

This WD is old so it's not as clean looking. Produce while abundant isn't very fresh. Artichokes were brown and had floppy stems. Had to search for 4 good apples. Overall WD is my place for meats always.has been. The newer one on Minton and Malabar road is much better naturally but I like this One, it's just outdated. Oh and the little blond who started bagging practically threw my glass jars into my cart then promptly went back to her register. Bad day I guess.

I went to this Winn Dixie to make a exchange on a purchase I had made. I didn't walk with the receipt because I have the store discount card (I believe it would be enough).

My daughter didn't like tomato soup with milk in it, so I just wanted to get another soup that they could use.

I placed it in any bag that I found, when I was going into the store I looked at the bag and just turned it inside out.

I gave the return to the cashier and for some reason the exchange wasn't even. The cashier it turn told the manager that I had gotten the soup from the Dollar General, because she said I had a bag from them. I informed them that the bag had come from Thrifty and not Dollar General.

The manager went to the shelf and came back with another can, telling me that the soup can labels was different and wanted me to take one can (I had brought back two).

What I realized that the soups were the same price on the shelf and the labels were different but the UPC were the same. I told her "no" to one because I had purchased two there and I was making an even exchange for two.

My conclusion was that the soup might have gone on sale and that's why the price was not an even exchange although the two item was the same price on the shelf.

They ultimately did the even exchange for the two cans of chicken noodle, but not after all of the humiliation and waiting I had to do. I could have just gone home and got the receipt and it would had been quicker and less painful.
