Winter Park Care & Rehabilitation Center reviews
14This place is a dump it reeks of urine the residents are not properly checked on the workers take more cigarette break than they have cigarettes the kitchen workers are dirty and dusty and the older spanish woman always look drunk! Do not bring your Loved ones here
FOOD SERVICE IS BAD. THERE ARE BUGS IN THE ROOM. SHARING ROOMS 4 PATIENTS HAVE TO SHARE ONE BATHROOM. CNA TAKES A LONG TIME TO ANSWER THE CALL AND SOMETIMES THEY TAKE THEIR FRUSTRATION WITH THE PATIENT. ONE NIGHT WHEN I REQUESTED FOR THE BEDPAN THE NURSE SAID WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO GO ON THE DIAPER. AS A PATIENT I FEEL TOTALLY UNSATISFIED WITH THE FACILITY, THAT'S WHY I DECIDED TO GO HOME. YOU BETTER THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR LOVE ONE'S TO THIS PLACE.
The best cna there is is yolanda gomez wow my mother says she is always smiling with everyone always attentive and good care
This
is a facility that basks in double standards. As long as I've been a nurse, I've never have had to experience such a degrading, undignified. I am so proud of the chaplain, she is amazing and so is Angela who handles the many tasks loaded on her with a grace that is only gifted by GOD. She is one of the ethical nurses I know. Others.including the head of nursing. I beg to differ. If The state where to, say come in and audits. They would wonder about A LOT. And to hurry to clean things up before they arrive.ethical? So many people have watered down ethical components of nursing. It's a shame!
My grandmother has been staying here 2+ years and it isn’t a good experience. I’ve been here a lot in the past, until COVID, to see her and the staff was rude to her, even myself when asking for assistance. We all constantly ask for tests to be run for her, nothing happens, we’re ignored. Staff members keep getting COVID so because of them not being safe, the elderly can’t even get visitation rights. My grandmother got COVID because of them. Shame.they are all neglected and you should steer away from this place.
I’ve used Coral rehab in winter park before with great success, however, this time very disappointing. I’m 60+ years old and COVID 19 has not been good to my generation. I went back today, there was a young man in waiting area not wearing a mask. All other employees and clients were following safety precautions wearing mask. I asked the receptionist if mask were required for the safety all all, I was told no. I was told it’s entirely up to the client. I cancelled my therapy with them.
Considering clients participate their to improve their health, I found Cory rehab policy week And not caring.
My grandma and I have been to three rehabs in the central area and this one for the past several months have been great to my grandpa. We take deep appreciation to all the staff at the rehabilitation center and for what they do but there is one person my family and I just have to shout-out and it’s Jeanette! You are amazing to our grandpa and treat him as if he was family and that’s really amazing. Your hard work is never unnoticed, thank you.

My father has been at this facility for two years. Recently, the management changed and I have seen a lot of new and positive things happening. The Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Worker, Business Manager, Activities Director all care about your loved one. There are some very special people working here. The nurses that take care of my Dad are wonderful. I think any facility will get some negative feedback - there is not a perfect facility out there. I can say from day 1, my father has been loved and cared for and they take any of your concerns seriously. I'm so happy we found this place. My father loves his room and calls it home.
My family member has been here over 10 years and this is the best management team this building has had, we are very happy.
I love the changes that are happening at this facility! I know my loved one is being taken are of!
I just started working for Signature Healthcare in the Winter Park Care and Rehabilitation Center and I am very impressed with the attitude towards improvement in care and team building. The facility has a great activities program and an incredible Chaplin! If there is any concerns or questions, the administrator and staff are there for you. I'm looking forward to a long career with Signature.
My father was at this facility for a short period. He passed away a couple weeks ago, right before we decided to bring him home to be around his entire family. My mother would visit him every single day while at Winter Park Care and Rehab. All the staff was kind and attentive to both my dad and my mother. My mother was pleased with them and was aware of the demands of their job, however anything she would ask for they would kindly oblige and never with a bad attitude always with kindness. Thank you.
My husband was only here for one night i had to take him out. Its a horrible place nurses take over an hr to show up. The place is old it smells. I would not ever sent anyone to this place. You hear patients calling for the nurse. Please always think of putting a family member here.
