Winter Quarters Manatee RV reviews
20Dirty campground that is not well maintained. Yes homeless people hanging out and several “locals” working on boat engines and automobiles in the lots. Highway noise on the back 40 is defining. Very tight spaces for any type of RV to get into. Thousand trails should be embarrassed by this place.forgot to mention like the other Thousand Trails campgrounds they all have full timers that take up all the decent spots either on the lake or with a view. Thank god we got the free membership when we bought the RV or I would not be happy.
Very nice for an older park. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Permanent residents are very friendly. The permanent units on the lake are well maintained. Permanent RVs off the lake are a little run down. Small camp sites for non-residents. Had a good time and enjoyed our stay!
This community was thoroughly disappointing. First and foremost, the staff was rude, pompous and disrespectful. The laundry facilities has dirty dank clothes left in them. The restroom facilities smelled of dead corpse and flies and cockroaches infested EVERYTHING. Run for the hills. And whatever you do, for the love of God, avoid this place like the plague
Nice resort but very tight quarters for motorhomes and RVs and lots of kids up and down the streets are motorized vehicles bicycle skateboards Etc
We like this rv park, stayed here twice once for a month, and again for a few days while going from one place to another.
We like a good hot tub and the one here is great. Staff friendly, campers nice. Enjoyed the food truck nights too.
Very accommodating people. We had an electrical problem at our first site they promptly investigated and allowed us to move to a new site. Park is clean and friendly.
The ladies at the office were extremely friendly and helpful when checking in. Will remember this place to come back and stay again at!
The most unfriendly camp resort that my husband and I have stayed at. Would speak to other campers and you would get no response. Staff was very unfriendly also. The information on the internet compared with what you are charged are very different. Rates are very high and then you are responsible for electric with no mention of that extra charge. Would not advise anyone to stay at this resort. Three months were long enough.
2nd year at this camping resort. Very disappointed. Repairs not done. Homeless people using the showers and sleeping in the bushes by the office.
This is the worst place we ever stayed at and we have stayed at a lot they are 5 feet from a very busy interstate and they are 4 to 5 times more expensive than any other park in the country and they don't even have cable TV
The people that give them a high rating are either liars or stupid it is a terrible place to stay at.
There's not much I can say about this RV resort except - it was Awesome! Lots of activities. Beautiful views and great swimming. I will definitely be back and if I ever settle down from full time RVing I will definitely consider this place as an option
Not much going on! Nice though! People are very friendly, the staff warms right up to you! Just don't try to come b4 check in time they do frown on that at least a couple of the staff do? Haha but all is fine that's what check in and check out times are all about right? The only things you here is the traffic from 75 but other than that very peaceful! Nice club house pool and jacuzzi, workout room, horseshoes fishing clean restrooms and showers! Run very professional!
It was good enough for a month. Lots of highway noise and very crowded. It was kept clean and was nice, but too expensive for me.
Great location. Clean amenities. Peaceful atmosphere. Friendly residents and staff. Safe neighborhood.
Love this place! Beautiful, clean and friendly. Mostly long term snow birds. Location is awesome. So close to lots of beautiful beaches
Excellent RV Resort! Super hospitable staff and nice sites. Unfortunately with Hurricane Irma bearing down we had to evacuate.
Spent 4 days being eaten by No seeums. No cable for short stays and not able to get TV reception with antenna. WiFi was available for a fee of $5 a day, that wasn't made very clear when booking. We really wanted to like this campground but we will not be back.
Very clean. Nice and friendly staff. Space between sites. Very quit at night. Just a great place to stay. The WiFi system has trouble when the park is full. I recommend finding a outside provider if you are staying a longtime.
No, not a well kept park. They have park rules, but nobody enforces them. I have been in parks all across the U. S, and this one does not rate that high. We bought a park model here and wish we hadnt.
Been here since mid December. Very much like our spot. Nice pools and hot tub. Lots of activities for folks to join in. Close to Anna Marie Island and Siesta Key Beach. Office staff are not all that friendly, but don't connect with them too often. Biggest deterrent is they're pricey. Will save $$ next winter at a different campground.
