Wolves Head Pizza & Wings, Bradenton FL

Wolves Head has become one of our new favorite spots. We have been searching for a place with a great atmosphere and good wings. The wings were amazing. The service was wonderful. Lauren and the kitchen staff were outstanding. Thank you for such an awesome experience.

Patty is awesome. But all the staff really is. This is our regular go to. I really wanted to give them a 1 star so all you peeps won’t go and I’ll actually be able to get a seat at the bar…. But nah!

We ordered take out for dinner and were not impressed. We got the white pizza and boneless wings. The pizza had SO much ricotta cheese it was really overwhelming. The “10” wings were a bunch of small pieces which I guess add up to 10. They came with the usual carrots and celery which looked more like a serving for a toddler…. The worst part was as my husband was paying, the girl at the register told him she automatically added 20% tip to the order. For takeout? ! Definitely not something you automatically add. Seems like she was trying to take advantage by tipping herself for a simple pick up order.

They are simply the best here! Even when they're busy, they remain professional, kind, and helpful. Love this place.

Had lunch here today, two different strombolis. Both were very well prepared and quite tasty. Service was excellent. Background music was good, not too loud. The seats in the booth were varnished wood, attractive but a bit hard on the behind, perhaps cushions would be appropriate? If the owners ever decide to franchise we could use one of these restaurants over in Brevard county!

The best pizza and wings this side of Saturn or Jupiter. Came all the way from goderich Ontario no comparison any where.

3 stars because I really like the place and the people. But tonight wasn’t your night…and hiding the 10 really burnt wings at the bottom of the batch…you’re better than that!

Ended up finding this place by chance, and have been 2 straight Sunday's now. Excellent service, nice atmosphere and phenomenal food. You will not be disappointed.

Just got seated with menus, and waited, and waited.
Not really too busy.
Had several servers walk right past without even a word.
No silverware No drinks No eye contact.
Finally got up and left without anyone asking us for anything.
Got no food or service.

Cool spot. Beer, pizza, wings, TV's to watch sports. Fun time for sure. Not upscale. Just a regular, good ole time.

I will not be going back to this place. I have been 4 times. Once we ate in, and 3 times pickup. The hostess seemed to have an issue with giving me change back. She asked if I needed change first of all. Then she did not give me all of the bills back, she kept one in her hand tipping herself. I have never experienced this sort of behavior in my life. I have worked in many restaurants during my youth. I never asked someone if they needed change let alone tip myself and keep their money in my hand as I give a portion of it back. Stealing is unacceptable behavior. We will not be back to this place. 2/5 since the pizza was good.

The food was hit and miss on our visit, but I'm going to give this restaraunt the benefit of the doubt since it had really good pizza and a relaxed, casual vibe.

When we walked in we were greeted by three waitresses at door.they sat us right away. It wasn't very busy when we arrived but it was completely full when we left. Our timing was perfect.

We ordered the pretzel appetizer to start and it wasn't that great. There were four in the basket and half of each pretzel were cold and the other half steaming hot.gave the impression they were microwaved. My husband liked the cheese sauce it came with but I found it bland. I wouldn't order again.

Dinner consisted of steak fajita quesadilla, a custom bar pie (basically a meatlovers pizza), and the slammers.

The steak fajita had more of a shaved steak filling with minimal cheese, peppers and onions. It was pretty moist with grease and the wrap felt apart. Presentation was nice but, again, not my favorite.

The two slammers my husband selected was the chicken parm (which came with no sauce.he ordered a side of marinara) and the chicken slammer (which had no sauce). The chicken pieces were huge.they were average.my husband took the plain one home and added his own sauce to it and enjoyed it. Served with chips.

The pizza my son ordered we all enjoyed. He had no left overs.

They serve beer and wine only. Happy hour 3p to 6p. Bar seating, high tops, booths and tables available inside; few tables outside. Numerous tvs available and will likely be a great venue to watch football on Sundays. Prices reasonable.considering we all had waters our bill was around $50 for the app and 3 meals.

We will be back but we will definitely stick to the pizzas or Stromboli.

We love this place! Food is consistently good. Best wings, fresh salads, great pizza & strombolis. The staff are always friendly and we've never had an issue with service. The only reason for the 4 star is they charge an additional 20% gratuity on take out orders which I was not aware of. Most take out gratuity should only be 10 - 15% if the customer chooses to leave a tip. We don't do take out any more which is sad because it's sometimes hard to get a seat there so we lose out on food and they lose out on $.

Don't order a burger everytime i have order one here and ask for medium they burn the meat. This is probably my third burger in a row that was way over cooked and basically black. I would love if I could post a picture aswell here.

Clean clean clean! Very attentive server. Make their own beer and bread. Really yummy food. Atmosphere is sports. Very comfortable vibe.
