The office staff is very nice, and efficient. Dr Nixon is wonderful. She is kind, and compassionate. She takes the time to explain everything and makes sure that I understand. I couldn't ask for a more caring Dr.

I called to get an exception to bring my TWO year old who sits in a stroller and wears a mask to a 10 min ultrasound. The office manager was extremely rude in making no exception! She also did not feel the need to allow me to speak to the head of her and lied about me using foul language so that they could resignate me as a patient! She then proceeded to tell me I was on SPEAKER for the entire office to hear me as I was angry because we can go to BARS, RESTAURANTS, GROCERY STORES, hospitals are allowing visitors but I cant bring my child for a quick ultrasound. She had personal issues with me stating how upset I was about some of these covid rules. However THIS is a violation of privacy!

The clinic seems to have some very qualified OB/GYNs! However, when I was in the process of establishing care with the clinic, they tried to push a binding arbitration agreement on me to waive my rights to a jury trial in the case of wrongful death, medical malpractice, etc. The office told me it was just a much speedy and less expensive alternative. Yeah, any clinic that tries to get me to waive my right to a trial jury in the case that I (or my family) would need to seek legal action is sketchy in my book (having worked in personal injury law). Do your research, don’t just sign the agreement because you don’t understand! There are plenty of clinics that do not require you to sign the agreement.

The pleasant atmosphere of this place helps put patients at ease. Soft lighting, comfortable temperature, ethereal relaxation music playing in the waiting room. The front office staff are kind and helpful, and the nurses I've seen have been warm and thoughtful. Dr. Damian is a character! My latest visit with her felt a little rushed, which is why I chose 4/5 stars. But other than that, I have no complaints. I can tell from my interactions with her that she cares about her patients and staff. She will be extra gentle with you if she knows you are a survivor of abuse/trauma, so make sure to mention that at the get-go if it applies. I no longer have to dread my annual Well Woman visits! Good place, good people.

I have a lifetime of experience as a patient of medical practices and about 15 years experience as an employee or volunteer of medical practices. Having said as much, I've never experienced a facility that came across w such little empathy/care and exuding such a desire for money.as if all I was to the practice was an MRN and bill. My Dr and her nurse have been amazing and understanding and have stood by me w deep empathy and fiery defense.my issue is w the company's business/admin practice. In a public waiting room, being asked for money at every single appt even though I had a formal arrangement to payment once per month and of which was paid in full every time aside from when we communicated that we had recently purchased a brand new auto transmission and could only pay part and would pay the other part in a few weeks.their response when this was reminded to them after their repeated request for more money was to (out loud in the waiting room) reference that they understand I'm experiencing financial crisis but if I don't pay then I can't go back to be seen. For one, humiliating and was not in financial crisis.just a brief set back, and second.keep me from being seen? That didn't go over well w me, my husband, nor my Dr. Their patient services model needs an intentionally magnified boost in care and consideration of the people they serve. Again, I'm not sharing this based off a one time event but something that occured EVERY appt for at least 7-8months of my pregnancy.and based off of similarly disappointing experiences from friends who were and are no longer patients.what a shame. Unless I experience quick/significant alterations to their patient experience practice, I have no intentions to continue my care through this practice after my immediate postnatal care.again, I'm so thankful for my Dr and nurse so this decision would be quite a shame.

The staff was really polite and helpful. The place was really nice and I felt very comfortable going. I have been going for years and will definitely continue to go. Was extremely satisfied with my visit.

Dr. Damien runs a tight ship. She’s punctual and knowledgeable about HRT. I also feel very comfortable with her abilities. I Highly recommend Lakeland OB/GYN.

The staff at Women’s Care Florida are always friendly, well organized, and efficient. Dr. Puretz is amazing, very calm and patient in his explanations about child birth and any procedure that he performs. I highly recommend both locations! In addition, Brandi at the front

Dr Damian is a compassionate and trustworthy physician. I have been her patient for more than 30 years. Never, have I left her office disappointed!

I just wanted to take time to Thank Women's Care center of Florida for taking care of me for the last 35 years I used to be called Lakeland OBGYN where doctor took Hartog of and Duboy took care me. Dr. Duboy delivered both my boys 34 + 32. Since doctor' Duboy went heaven doctor Alvarez has stepped in and taken very good care of me and the different stages of my life that Women face in our lives. Every nurse every receptionist every person that I have dealt with including the lab has been nothing but kind and helpful and good to me I'm very thankful that they've been here for the delivery of my children and I would just like to give him a big Thank you for the care they've given me and will continue to give me thank you.

My first time and i felt really happy and confident with doctor Demian ladies from the front desk always smiling good customer service the clinic very clean I really recommend this place

Dr. Damien put me at ease and calmly explained my possible contributors to my health concerns. It was very professional and made me feel comfortable. The appointment was quick but she answered all of my questions and was very informative.

Dr. Puretz is the best! I have been going to him since I moved to Lakeland and could not be happier. The staff, nurses, sonographers, everyone is great! Highly recommend!

I really wish I could recommend Women's Care, because as others have mentioned, Dr. Nixon is great. However, the majority of my time is spent dealing with the office staff and it is a legitimate nightmare having to do so much follow-up work. It isn't just this location, as I've also been to Tampa. It takes days to get a refill, or even a question answered. I've had to wait over an hour just for labs (with an appointment). They misplaced my orders once. Another time they almost drew labs I had already had done. Several of the staff are less than friendly. Prepare to wait a LONG time to be seen, regardless of the time of day (so frustrating!). Communication between offices is disorganized, along with the scheduling department. I work in Women's, and know that this is not how an OB's office is supposed to be run. It's beyond frustrating as a patient, and really very unfortunate as this is supposed to be a much more pleasant experience than what it has been.

I'm early on in my first pregnancy and so far dealing with this facility has been tedious and exhausting. The phones shut down an hour before 5 (the posted and told closing time) and no one deigns to message back on the portal unless you call and ask them a couple of times. I understand its a busy building but what's the point of a doctor's office if they cant answer your questions or concerns without a huge runaround? Its just more stress during an already stressful time of life.

Dr. Damian is great. She never makes me wait when I have an appointment and is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Damian and the Womens Care office to anyone.

Normally a pleasant office experience but today after I saw the nurse practitioner, I stopped at desk on my way out, to confirm I was 'all set', I was told rather rudely, that "I will check you out this time but next time, have a seat back in the lobby! ". Next time, I will just keep walking out the door.

I see Dr. Puretz at this practice. He is kind. Thoughtful and thorough. His staff is friendly, courteous and professional. I’d highly recommend.
