Woods Ferry River Camp reviews
6Nice place to camp, but be weary of the long walk. Ramp up and a good walk to some of the pavilions.
Stopped here over the weekend while on a canoe trip, great access to the river and very clean and spacious.
The facility was far above what I was expecting. Everything was well maintained and clean. The only downside was the camp host was super rude and aggressive. If it wasn’t such a remote location, I would have called the police on his behavior.
For those who don’t read all the comments, here it is again- YOU CANT DRIVE TO THIS PLACE- YOU HAVE TO ENTER BY THE RIVER. We parked at the locked gate at the end of the sand road and walked 1/2 mi.to explore- beautiful facilities if you’re canoeing. But don’t think you’ll drive here!
Dont drive here. Its boats ONLY. Roads go way out of the way and are in terrible condition
I would have gave it 5 stars. Campground host left the sink full of dishes and was no where to be found. Other than great camp. Nice hot showers were a 5 star.
