Wop's Hops Brewing Company And Kitchen reviews
20Delicious beer. Food is even better! Vegetarian dish artichoke pattys are worth the trip alone. IPAs are delicious.
Went for some beers, food, and a comedy show that was supposed to be at 7, left having a decent beer, some odd food, and a comedy show that was 1 1/2 hours late. They had a large beer list, but out of the 4 I tried, only 1 was decent at best. I had a hot Italian sandwich that came with Pepperoni, ham, and capicola, and a lot of pickled peppers. The combination of flavors was interesting. The bread was delicious though. My girlfriend had a pesto chicken flatbread and she’s pretty sure the chicken was from a can. Once the bar got busy it was nearly impossible to order a beer since the bar staff is also the wait staff and they didn’t think to remove a stool for walk-ups. Wop’s hops? Should’ve called it Walks hops Bc I will be walking right by this place in the future.
I was not expecting the food to be this good. The Mediterranean salad and flatbread were excellent, and the wings were perfectly cooked. Good beer, good food, cool atmosphere. Even a doggie menu.
Awesome service. Amazing beer. I found the poison pope to be my favorite. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed
After being let down at El Zocalos, I came here for a beer to cool off. Service is pretty good everyone, including patrons are nice and suggestive for new beers and very polite plus there are little duckies everywhere.
Love the variety of seating options inside and out, drinks were great and so was the food but even better was the friendly service would definitely come back
We’re new to the area. Been here a couple times and have had their beers at other places. It’s already my favorite brewery of all time! Sweet potato beer, coco puff daddy, butter rum… amazing!
We learned about this brewery at St. John’s Hops show a few years ago. Today we finally made it out here. And did not disappoint! Lots of beer choices and didn’t even know they served food, including for the dogs! The girls enjoyed the “mutt” meatballs and the bartender provided a big bowl of water. We enjoyed the outside patio - since we had our dogs with us. Plus we got sneak peaks of the air show. We tried a variety of the beers and even brought some home. We will plan another trip and visit soon.
Yeeeesh if we could give this place a 100/10 we would. Staff is super friendly, we feel safe, food is great and atmosphere is amazing. The staff however actually seems to bring everyone there together. It feels like your hanging out with a bunch of friends. Its very cool. Always a selection of meads which is hard to find
Extremely nice staff. Very personable. Nice selection off beer and food. The appetizers and main dinner items we had were delicious. It was a Friday night, a little early, it wasn't loud and you could definitely take a family in for a nice bite to eat.
This place was a little bit of a surprise, the restaurant we were going to go to was closed so we saw this across the street. What a cool little funky place. We sat at the bar and ordered a flight, the bartender was very informative and very personable. I actually loved every beer I tried which is unusual for me. Their sweet potato beer is out of this world. We also ordered a couple of appetizers which were amazing. We sat there for a little while and we met the owner as well who was very nice. This is definitely going to be on our list to go again soon. It has a nice atmosphere, great beer, great food and the people that work there are outstanding
Great beer! Best wings we've had since moving here! Finally a place that will cook them how you ask.
Bad beer, they try to make the strangest drinks. Do I want a jalapeño cucumber pretzel stout? Absolutely not!
There was a portly shorter man, I believe his name was Greg. A used car salesman of beer, Pushy and obnoxious.rude to his customers and employees, I pitty the people under him maybe there’s a reason I rarely see the same employee twice. He bragged to me once he was a parole officer. MAKES SENSE. Avoid at all cost
WOW! Had the Tiki Wings and the Hawaiian Flatbread Pizza and washed them both down with Scottish Toffee Ale.
The people here are great! Cynthia has a great team working with her and none of them are shy with their personality. Great people. Great food. Great drink and an even better time!
It was my first time visiting. When we arrived they told us to order at the bar, for our food. So we did, and sat back at our table. Another group arrived and they took there food order at table. The food wasn't all that good! Was not happy with service & food.
Best beer and food combo in Sanford. Not over priced lime Sanford Brewing. Bar is better than dining room. Located in a historical fish market. My fave in Sanford.
This was a nice surprise. I had been to downtown Sanford, but not to this area. Has a lot of character (love the full scale Velociraptor). Good and interesting food, great craft beers, and a super friendly atmosphere. A fun place to gather with friends or make new ones. Also, pet friendly with menu options for your dog.
Beers: unique and flavorful. Amazing
Food: everything has been excellent especially pasta nights
Service: super friendly and amazing people
In summary, my favorite place downtown Sanford, must stop if in the area.
My honest opinion, food is terrible service is bad but beer is ok. The nachos and flat bread pizza.
Love this place, absolutely delicious homemade food and some of the most unique, interesting beer selections I've seen and incredibly friendly staff. A frequent stop for us in Sanford, HIGHLY recommend!
