Workman Transportation Lake Sumter Landing Shuttle Depot, The Villages FL

Great service, friendly employees, things are still running slowly do to the BS pandemic. Great value provided service, easy drop off and don't have to drive to Orlando airport

We purchased tickets via Workman to the Valspar golf tournament, which got cancelled. Have not received our refund even after several phone calls and emails. Currently, not able to contact them.

Nothing wrong with the actual drive from Port Canaveral or the comfort of the seats. However, we were part of a large group being picked up at Port Canaveral first thing in the morning, and the lavatory on board was filthy and smelled before the bus was even ready to leave the port. It seems inexcusable to not have the entire bus cleaned before picking up a group. Another issue was that the arm rest in seat 26 would not lock in position and could not be used.
Update 3/9/20-the group traveling was Greenwood Cruise and Travel on 3/8/20.

I have been waiting over two weeks to receive a refund for the Valspar outing that was cancelled on March 12. Several attempts to contact company have been futile. Cannot recommend. Jude Thines.

Very uncomfortable temperature on the bus. We had been experiencing cold weather in the area- 32°. The inside of the bus was about 60°! The driver said this was as warm as it got. Terrible ride!

The phone staff are easily some of the worst people out there. How hard it is to be nice to a customer. It is mind boggling how you can work in customer service with a boot up your rear end karren/nancy.

Awesome experience renting a bus from this travel company for a group outing. George was great! Would 100% use again.

Always on time with friendly drivers and clean comfortable shuttles. They are in the process of changing their on line booking site so there was some confusion with booking and I had to call and rebook over the phone. 1st person I talked to had incorrect information. 2nd person was great. Seems that no matter what flights we get to return from MCO we have an hour plus wait for the shuttle. Always just too close to landing time to get one with less wait.

This is way below the standards set by the original Villages shuttle service.

The equipment is fine, the drivers are cheerful but the service sucks.

You start off with boarding at Orlando on time then you spend 40 mins sitting still as the driver tries to resolve each individual passenger aboard against a predetermined list complete with misspellings, reversed names and of course no-shows and folks rolled over from earlier missed shuttles. Now ad 10-15 mins to go between terminals (normal) and the repeat against a new set of riders at a second terminal and you will get away from the airport one hour after you first board.

They can solve most of this by using previous issued boarding passes that can be scanned in seconds by a drivers hand-held as you board

Shuttle was on time picking up at the airport and dropping off at Lake Sumter Landing. Adequate parking while waiting to pick up a passenger.

This shuttle is by far the best! Clean, quick and to the point! Most of the staff and drivers are great. Used to take the yellow and white van that picks you up at you door and drops you off but those vans were garbage. This shuttle will pick you up and drop off at home for extra 15 dollars.

Why do you say you can make a reservation 24 hours a day when you call your phone and it says you’re not. This is bad for business.

This was my 3rd day trip with The Villages Transportation, but now it is Workman. It is my understanding Workman has owned it for 3 or so years, but just recently changed the name over. My other two trips were great. And, if I were only judging this trip on the driver, the hostess and the fabulous seats we had at the Cirque du Solei show, I would have given them 5 stars. But, has Workman done to their inside what the airlines have done? Scrunched up the rows and put seats closer leaving absolutely no room so they can sell more seats? Thank goodness it was only an hour and a half bus ride. I have no desire to take a day trip again if this is the horrible seating arrangement. Could they at least have pockets on the back of the chairs to store a few things!

They are always on time even at 3 am. Got me to the airport on time very friendly drivers and helpful for all the passengers in his care.

I just don't like the last time I was picked up at Sumter Landing to take me home there was no step to get onto the van ended up scraping my legs. We're senior citizens they should know better

This is a retirement community. I visited this village. It reminded me of the program Stepford wives. One of everything. Disappointed no SEAFOOD? ITs Florida. No Mexican food, ni Chinese. Not enough fast food places. No Mcdonalds, burger king, wendys. I understand there are adults over 50, but what about the families that come to visit. You have to drive over an hour to Orlando. Too enclosed. Feels like a prison. Not good atmosphere.

My sister used it, and made friends with every one on the bus! Lol

Pick up times were accurate, and places were easy to find.

Cost was very reasonable.

Best shuttle between villages and Orlando airport! If you use their competitor Village Van, you'll have 3.5 hours crammed in a van to ponder you're mistake!

Fun tours of the 3 areas! Comfortable & clean busses, plus great guides & drivers! I highly recommend!
