Wyatt's Coffee reviews
19The music that was being played in the establishment was an awful hip hop, I think the music should be easy listening (for all crowds) a lot of times the clerks put their own music and that just ruins it for everybody else
My husband and I are in town for the downtown festival and art show, we bought the MOST DELICIOUS teas and coffees here, not too mention that they are friendly and the place is clean and organized. What a great coffee shop. Not pics of the teas and coffees because we drank them right away
Some of the best coffee my wife and I have had, it’s very unique compared to most coffee shops.
Got a pumpkin latte, and it was delicious. They care about their creations so I appreciated every sip!
We ordered a regular large coffee—$4, not cheap. It tastes SOUR. Never had such a bad coffee. Feels like the coffee was brewed yesterday. We ended up dumping all of them. Waste of money and time.
Favorite cafe in Gainesville. It's become an official ritual for me to spend mornings here when I'm visiting for Fest. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes a great espresso.
Awesome people, friendly, not snobby.
Great breakfast burrito if you like chorizo and a little bit of spice. $9 didn’t seem outrageous since prices are so high everywhere, and was able to share and still felt full. Also great crunchy exterior.
Interesting coffee flavors. We tried “the Wyatt” which wasn’t my favorite (tasted like Chinese red pork in coffee form), but I’m sure people like it. The flavors are good, but I can’t shake the pork feeling. Good temperature. Quick service.
Parking is a pain but we found a 15 min spot and that was enough time to get what we needed with a person or two in front of us in line.
Absolutely love this place for a morning study date and cute breakfast! The barista’s are so nice and the music always sets the right vibe. Love their coffee and pastries too!
Latte was excellent. Milk was silky and espresso was a tasty draw. The spinach feta pastry was quite good, too.
Once a month I get a treat and a cappuccino from Wyatt’s - I wish they were closer to my house. Best BEST pastry - i have tried something different every time- all were excellent. They even remember me from one time to the next.
The most incredible coffee shop in Gainesville. I can not believe they fly out to Colombia and get the beans themselves. Please go here asap. I also have a crush on one of the baristas but I can’t legally say who.
I am not a fan of Wyatt’s coffee—is a sentence I’d probably read in a fictional novel. Not in real life. The coffee is incredibly delicious and the staff consistently offers exceptional service, especially when I order with good manners.
Excellent coffees and the almond butter croissants are wonderful. The service is always great.
These folks don’t just sling you coffee, they create it. From bean to brew locally, the best coffee in town. The staff is super dope and love talking about coffee!
Amazing vibes, the coffee is incredible, their season specials always on point. It gets super crowded in the weekends so go early if you want to get a study spot
This is always a must stop when I’m in Gainesville. Yesterday must have been an off day. Ordered a large drip coffee with cream. Was asked to show the barista how light or dark I wanted the coffee from a section on the wood countertop. I chose medium light. It really was too dark and the coffee wasn’t fresh and tasted bitter. I went to ask for more milk but there was a long line. You should really let customers pour their own milk.
We've been going to Wyatt's for years! The staff is kind and welcoming, and their espresso is unlike any other. We love their local roast, BIG SHOT, which has a fruity flavor profile with a lot of brightness, making for the perfect cappuccino. The staff has shown that they're competent in the art and science of coffee (and tea). We also love that they recently added a breakfast burrito to the menu (pictured). It's incredible. We highly recommend!
I ordered The Wyatt iced and it was fantastic. Legit wouldn’t change a single thing about it. Plenty of space for studying and easy access to the wifi. They use reusable glasses/cups for those dining in which I think is great and more environmentally friendly.
I come to Wyatts for coffee a few days every week and love the atmosphere and staff there. You can't beat their artesian coffee and espresso drinks. Whenever I'm looking for a small gift for a friend or family member their bags of independent coffee are a go-to pick. I love going to a place where the staff are super friendly and already know my order before I even get in line!
