Wyndham Garden Ft Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port, Dania Beach FL

A great place to stay before cruise or after a cruise. Hotel is very clean. Really enjoy not having carpet in the rooms, they use laminate. Beds are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. The only downside of the hotel at this moment is the breakfast that used to be free is now $12 per person. A lot of great restaurants to go to within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel is clean but no microwaves in the rooms. So a bunch of us up on the 6th floor for one microwave was a bummer. I am a Wynham Rewards Diamond Member (highest level) of African descent (I'm saying it for a reason), Maria at the front desk checked me in early. She didn't offer me the welcome gift for Elite members. She didn't offer me complimentary breakfast/drink coupons that Paola the manager told me the next day that an Elite member is to receive. I checked in another day and told her what Paola told me that Elite members are to get yet again she still didn't give me the welcome gift or choice of coupons for breakfast/Happy Hour. But I saw her give the gifts to an older Caucasian couple who came in after me.

Great place to stay pre cruise. Nice and clean rooms. Shuttle service to/from airport and for $12pp dollars they take you to the port.

The rooms and lobby were very nice. The bed was comfortable, it had the necessary room amenities such as iron, ironing board, shower gel, shampoo etc.in the bathroom. The pool area was very nice with ample lounges, chairs, pool towels and sun umbrellas. It has a in house cafe offering a $12.00 per person buffet breakfast and a small yet satisfying dinner menu and beverages of your choice. There is a restaurant literally 3 minutes away offering all meals. The Wyndham website states there is a free shuttle service to Dania Pointe and this is not the case, however Eric on the front desk made this happen for us along with the best shuttle driver there is, Kenny! We got into the hotel early from a cruise and there was one room left that they provided to us with an early check in fee and that was the end of the conversation. We got to the elevators and only one was working and apparently it had been out of order for at least a week that I can gather. We get into our room and late afternoon we tried our phone to discover it was out of order. Back down to the front desk where they stated the phone utility company has been working on the situation as it was not a hotel issue. They said some phones worked and others did not. This is a huge safety issue as we have no cell phones and no way to communicate if there had been an emergency. No offer to move us to a room where the phone worked and no sign on the broken elevator which makes no sense to me as it does not take a lot to write a note or inform your guests of these two situations upon check in. If you are staying anytime soon I would definitely inquire if both the elevator and phone situations have been rectified and get it in writing.

I was there a few months ago with a group of friends for drinks and dinner.the food was nasty, it was like having air fried food. The drinks took forever as there was only one person taking orders, making drinks and she was also the cashier. The only good thing was the live music. Never again will I go there.

Love my room, with the amenities needed. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful customer service from front desk.

My room #608 smells like someone poured entire bottles of febreeze onto the headboards and the windows don’t open, so ventilation is impossible. You just have to suffocate in the neurotoxic chemical fumes and stench of cleaning products killing your brain cells.

The shuttle also smells dangerously like car fumes, so maybe that’s a signature of the Wyndham chain to smell like toxic chemicals.

There is no drinking water at all but plastic water bottles are sold downstairs for $2 each.

A clean quiet stop before the airport full of toxic fumes if you’re in an emergency.

The lobby staff were friendly and everything appeared clean, but we got bit all over from what had to be bed bugs even though the hotel denies it. We had another couple that were friends of ours that stayed two rooms down and they experienced the same thing. There is no other explanation for the 20-30 bites I got while sleeping.

Clean and efficient and close to airport and docks. Eat at The Fish Grill before you set sail or catch your flight. Only downside to this place is the street noise on Federal.

Comfortable rooms. Good buffet. Convenient shuttles to airport (free) and ship terminal ($20 a person).

As a flight attendant, hotels are very important. Comfort is a non negotiable for us and the Wyndham has surpass my expectations every time. The hotel has a restaurant/bar food and drinks are pretty good. Steven the bartender is very nice and attentive.
The location is very convenient and in some rooms you can see the Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Hotel.

Quiet hotel. Close to airport. Shuttle to airport was amazing.
Room could have had water and more than one coffee packet.

The room was very attractive, very clean, and filled with a lot of amenities such as a microwave, a refrigerator, unusual in a room at this price point. Great value!

For the price we got a view of a car park wall.the room was really noisy it was like sleeping in a car park next to a main road we were all woken multiple times through the night by people yelling in the carpark and slamming car doors. The air-conditioning was also very noisy and was a wall unit that turned on and off all night. Room was clean but the location wasn't great. Additionally the shower head was not attached to the wall so you had hold it while showering so it didn't hit the opposite wall and flood the bathroom and despite booking for 3 people only got 2 towels. Apart from the beds being ok this room sucked
