Really disappointed. I had a gift certificate from them and I called to make an appointment and they told me I could NOT use it because it was more than a year old certificate. There is no expiration date on the actual gift certificate! This is crazy that they told me no when someone spent money a gift certificate! Do not recommend!

I had a great experience at Xanadu! I brought a picture of the cut I wanted and they delivered 100%. I highly recommend!

My hair turned out great- but I was definitely in for a big surprise when I got my $295 bill- This small town Michigan girl found this location on Groupon and thought it was a beauty school. I asked up front how much to cover my roots and she said around $55- I got talked into the full treatment, which I later found out was much more! Way beyond this single lady’s budget.
It was confusing too, as it took such a long time to do my hair- so I thought it was a student- and my hair got caught in the back of the hair dryer - damaging a small part- yikes. The lady who did my hair was super sweet though. I just won’t be able to afford these prices again- not on my poverty budget!
I think the break down was this
$90 all over base color
$160 all over highlights
$45 The rest for a trim and blow dry.
Not really sure- but total was definitely $295-

My hair is absolute perfection all thanks to Carlie! She literally created a custom root and highlight for me with a method she created herself that left my hair looking so glamorous, this is hair looks like it’s worth a million dollars! She corrected all my brassiness and turned it all into perfection, she is extremely sweet and also has a great sense of style (: so glad I found her thank you so much Carlie I found my new stylist for life

Let me start off by saying, I rarely come here with nothing good to say about something, but this will be the exception! Orli came 20 minutes late for my 10 AM appointment for a powder dip manicure, no apologies. Then she didn’t want to give me that service and talked me into a hard gel, a special product from Israel (which I later discovered doesn’t come off like regular gel and ruined my nails). Her station was absolutely filthy with gel and nail residue covering everything in sight. Then she rushed through my pedicure because she had to leave. To my surprise my bill totaled $113.00, $70.00 for the manicure and $40.00 for the worst pedicure I have ever had! I paid and left, but I will never go bavk there.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience here. Both of us were long over due for hair cuts. The last salon I went to I had a bad experience so I was nervous to try a new place. I called and the got us both an appointment that very day. Everyone was friendly and gave great advice for both of us on how to do better with our hair. Having curly hair, I often have salons try to just straighten my hair and ignore my concerns. The stylists here listened to everything and were very considerate and even gave me products for curly hair. They asked if I wanted a different style than curly, I said no, and they respected that. If I had known how great they would be I would have maybe taken a few more inches off. We will be back again and might try more of their services!

First time in this Salon. Got Tina as my hair stylist and she was amazing! I couldn’t remember how I looked when I walked in, I could only see how mind blowing my hair looked afterwards! Totally recommend

Im not much of a review person but xanadu salon & spa deserve it! My hair was totally botched! Carlie & lourdes were not just able to fix it, but were able to give me exactly what i wanted.they were proffesional and friendly and made me so comfortable. Thank you guys so much! Yall deserve way more than 5 stars! See yall soon ladies!

Came in for a root touch up and was greeted with the amazing colorist Manya who did an amazing color melt, cut and blowout in less than two hours! Great service and quality work

Came in for highlights with Mali, and she did great! From my highlights to my haircut it was great service and I love my hair! Very talented stylist, fixed my hair when it had multiple colors after going dark as a natural blonde! Couldn’t be more impressed! I’ll be back!

Shampoo and conditioning was great! Hairstylist was horrible. I had to go get my hair fixed. Won’t go there again. She also made several politically motivated comments - I don’t go to get my hair done to hear someone’s political views. I gave it 2 stars because the shampoo and conditioning person was so good.

I’m so happy with my hair! It came out exactly how I wanted, beautifully blended. Actually showed a photo of what I wanted and I think mine ended up coming out better. Mali and Lourdes did an incredible job and I am so so happy with the outcome! 11/10

I was very impressed After taking my 11 year old step daughter to get her hair washed, cut, blow dried and styled, and they did an excellent job. My fiance purchase a gift certificate for me to have whatever done. I decided to take my mother with me as we both got full sets of acrylics. Mom's came out perfect, and mine were completely rushed through to get done, obviously she had another client. My first time in seven years, a complete messy job, leaving nail polish on all my finger tips and to experience the nail tech reply to me warm dish water will help clean the excess

Mali is the absolute BEST! I came in with a corn-yellow balayage done at a different salon and all I could do was cry every time I saw how light my hair was, especially since I have an olive complexion and naturally dark hair. It did NOT look good but I wanted to fix it somewhere else since I lost trust in that salon. At Xanadu, I was immediately booked at a convenient date and time and greeted so warmly at the reception. Mali took a look all over my hot mess of hair and I explained to her what I was looking for and showed her a picture for reference. She understood the assignment and went above and beyond! My balayage was toned to more of a beautiful light brown that looks so much more natural, and the hair cut she gave me makes my hair look so healthy. Do not hesitate to book an appointment with Mali, you will not be disappointed. I’m truly a satisfied (and returning) customer. Thank you!

Came into xanadu salon with low expectations because no hair dresser/ stylist wanted to touch my hair so a lot of them turned me down and if they did want to do it they wanted insane amounts of money! Or they wasn’t sure if they could achieve what I wanted to, that changed when I met Angi, an awesome women with cool crazy split hair who was willing to do my hair after doing an insane at home bleach job myself (and butchering my hair) she was so kind enough to fix it and look after my hair while doing what I wanted, she took the process slowly and we got an amazing out come in the end, a huge thanks to angi (and Rachel for stepping in while angi was away) these ladies transformed my hair in the best way possible:) and I am forever greatful, definitely come into Xanadu salon (especially if u did a terrible at home bleach job and u need someone to correct it) thank u ladies I hope to see u soon:)

Been coming here for about a year. Was seeing Julia for all my eye brow needs. Never had an issue until 3 weeks ago. Every visit we made small talk about what was happening in our lives. I decided to bring my girlfriend here with me for an eyebrow wax. As she starts waxing my eyebrows she says a very inappropriate joke at my expense in front of my girlfriend. Im thinking in my head why would I think that’s funny? So unprofessional. Then after she gets ready to do my girlfriends eyebrows and my girlfriend says I don’t want them thin I just want to clean them up as I like thick eyebrows. What does Julia do, she says no you need to thin them more it will look better and proceeds to disregard what the customer says and she thins them out. My girlfriend was very upset afterward and I was still bothered by her offensive joke regarding myself. This is the last time I will ever come here after coming here for over a year.

Hands down, the best salon I’ve ever been to! I will definitely be making this my go to for nails and hair. Everyone is super friendly and it’s all around a great environment. Kami especially, her expertise and service is absolutely unmatched. She made sure I was comfortable, and I really never thought my hair would be so beautiful! I really couldn’t recommend the salon and Kami enough.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much help I needed with my hair! I had crazy bright orange hair by my roots and the middle of my hair was brown and major spilt/dead ends. I was contemplating cutting my hair short and just dying the rest a dark color but I booked an appointment out of faith (haven’t gone to a salon for 8years) and Miri preformed a miracle! Not only did she give me the color I wanted she gave my hair beautiful layers and curled my hair! I could not be happier lol I’m so excited to show off my hair to everyone and I haven’t even left my salon seat. Booking was easy too. I’m so happy definitely recommend coming here. Great service everyone is so nice as well.
