Yachtsman Steakhouse reviews
17 As a couple who cook at home a lot we take these reviews serious and have high expectations. The staff was.incredible from the time you check in. Waitress was excellent and you can see the chefs calling out the orders. Great ambiance as well and well decorated.
The lobster bisque was excellent. The breads were fresh and very tasty. When the main course showed up the steaks were very tasty but slightly under temperature ordered. The medium was more rare and red. The sides need a major work. Potatoes were very pasty and fries were cold and not a good taste. We did like the cream spinach and the verts (green beans) but to pay extra for the sides seems a lil like price gouging.but the serving were large enough to share.
We ordered desserts which were decent size and priced right. The yachtsman chocolate cake for 2 was delicious and had a lot of different flavors well blended. The strawberry shortcake tasted frozen not fresh and what seemed like a syrup on the strawberries made it overly sweet. Combine this with an equally overpowering sherbert made it not as enjoyable if paired with a softer flavor like vanilla.
If you're there for the steak it's awesome.just know the pros and cons prior.
Beautiful restraunt. Very much enjoyed dinning experience and wonderful food. Deffently will return. Only draw back is they don't really enforce dress code my girlfriend and I dressed up for Valentine's Day and table next to us had four adults all wearing either shorts or one guy wearing tank top. But overall wonderful restraunt
Amazing steak house. Food was fantastic and service amazing. Everything from the bread to the dessert was great. Many cuts of amazing steaks to choice from as well as other choices. Sides were also great. Steaks are flavored and cooked perfectly.
Loved our meal! Our waiter William was fantastic. The steaks were amazing. The wedge salad is fantastic. The Mac and cheese, omg.so good. We both got the potatoes as a side with our meals. They were sliced thinly, with the onions and shallots and cheese baked on top.delish! Love this place. Hubby said the cream Brule was awesome. The strawberry shortcake isn't tradtional.it was okay. Not what I expected.
Service was excellent. Food was hit or miss. My filet was cooked to a crisp even though I requested it be medium well. I could barely eat it. French Onion soup was excellent as was the bread. My husband had the rib eye and he said it was good but he’s had better. For the price I probably wouldn’t go back with the steaks that weren’t even as good as Outback Steakhouse.
This is, by far my family's favorite food/drink in all of Orlando. Its makes us feel like vacation the minute we enter the Yacht club. We have an annual tradition to go out here every year before Christmas. Everyone looks forward to it. The peel apart onion bread that is in the table bread basket is soooooo delicious. Even the pickiest people love it. Also their filet, is my father in law's favorite (great for anyone who loves steak but has trouble chewing it up). Kids menu has traditional kid stuff but also has shrimp or steak on skewers. Wait staff is just the right amount of attentive, and always knowledgeable. Guaranteed great dinner experience for all. Also a soft ambiance to relax in after a hectic day at the parks.
As always, blown away by a great dinner and fantastic service. Jordan was an amazing help at the front and Victoria was a great server. Extremely happy Yatchtsman is back, Thank you for such a great dinner!
The service is AMAZING and Carrie she knows how to really make you feel at home when you are there. I was disappointed that one of the menu items is no longer on the menu. (Beef Fat Potaotes). I was really looking forward to having those once The Yachtsman reopened. The food is indescribable in relationship to how deliciously good it is. There is nothing better than good friends, good food and great atmosphere to end your evening. Carrie, thank you for reminding us of why we love dining at Yachtsman.
No where near the quality of Ruth Chris. Waitress who said she had been there 31 years was rude and unattentive - in 2 hours she never once refilled the tea, or the bread. One food was brought in three trips (there were only 5 of us). The steaks were good, but nothing worth writing home about. The sides were all cold. The Disney site describes this as an upscale and romantic spot, also states a recommended dress code. It is loud, basic in appearance and there is no dress code policy evident.
This is my favorite restaurant on disney property hands down. After moving to Florida right before this pandemic started. My wife and I been waiting to have dinner here again. Last night 8/23/21 was our first trip back since 2014. I had the French onion soup (Nothing less then perfect). I ordered the ribeye medium raw (also perfect). My wife food was perfect. Food, service and the atmosphere was flawless. Sorry for whom is reading this. I just really enjoy this place. 10/10
Absolutely spectacular! We ate here two nights on our Disney trip. Both nights we were blessed to have Barry as our waiter. What a passion he has for his job! Top notch service and recommendations! Thank you, Barry!
Went here for my 3 year wedding anniversary. Never been here but the ambience was very nice and cozy. Our waitress was excellent throughout the whole experience.we ordered the 28oz Porterhouse for 2.that bad boy was one delicious steak loved how they cooked it in garlic butter.we also got truffle mac and cheese and a loaded potato. Just and FYI you can definitely taste the truffle in the mac and cheese.but the one thing that I enjoyed the most was the cheese board! That 1st course was outstanding.we got a chocolate lava cake and by our waitress (will get her name) she gave us Champagne for a toast which we appreciated.will come back for special dates.
FYI the bone marrow is unique for me it tasted sweet and I liked it but my wife didnt like it.
We visited this place 2 times, 2 times we had a great experience with outstanding customer service. The first time we visited in 2019 and in our opinion the food tasted better that year, maybe they change the cook, but the last time we went, it was in February 2020, the lobster bisque was too salty, the charcuterie didn’t have that good choice of meats. But the seafood tower was amazing! In my opinion definitely worse it’s money, especially I like the Oyster shots and ceviche with pineapples and scallops. Also we love Mac and cheese with truffles. This place is one of the best places to go in Disney World and definitely worth trying.
Yactsman Steakhouse is absolutely the best steakhouse that we've ever have been. The food, experience and the dining was amazing. If you go to Disney you have to make an attempt to visit this restaurant! I wish we had gotten our desserts but unfortunately they were forgotten. We had the porterhouse steak and it was delicious! A must try!
Located at Disney's Yacht Club resort, this classic steakhouse can really deliver the goods. Tasty cuts of beef, chicken and seafood are on deck, as well as some delicious sides like Lobster Mac and cheese. Our server, Ken, was polite, polished and professional - ask for him! It is pricey, but in line with other steakhouses. A must visit for the carnivore!
Yachtsman Steakhouse is a wonderful place for fine dining just because or for a special occasion. Their steaks are excellent, specifically their filet. We loved the mashed potatoes and sauteed onions as sides. We will definitely go back on future visits!
Fancy. Expensive. 40$ per person. But high quality food for vacation! Such a beautiful spot in hotel. Has border walk outside. So beautiful at night. Right next to the lake with boat cruise. Romantic area for date. 135$ the porterhouse steak.
