Yarumba Restaurant & Lounge reviews
20The service is always great when I come here. Andres is one of the best servers that works there! Never disappointed, food is always fresh and hot! Very family oriented and great setting! I love Yarumba!
Gave 3 stars because the food was delicious and plentiful but safe distancing is clearly not a concern for them. I visited 1/8/21. When I arrived the place looked full enough but we decided to take our diner to go due to how packed it got without concern of Covid. The music was loud forcing us to lean in to converse which isn't ideal with Covid. I would return after it's safer because the food was very good.
Best attention, best music by Dj criss and the food was amazing highly recommend, la mejor atención del personal, la mejor música por dj criss y la comida increíble lo recomiendo altamente.
Went there with my wife this past Monday January 4,2021 thinking this was a nice family restaurant And we left after waiting 45 minutes of waiting for a simple Dominican Sampler plate. The waitress was nowhere to be found during all that time and to me it’s obvious based on the place scenery that this is a Bebedero! (Beer drink joint) if you don’t go there to consume alcohol you will not be given priority. As appealing as their menu looks their food seems overpriced! There are better choices out there if you are looking to eat Dominican food in Miami. If you come across this place. Don’t walk away from it. Run away from it!
This visit was during COVID-19. The place had information properly posted to remind customers about safety guidelines. The menu was accessed via QR code on the tables.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and they offered "concon" (the slightly burned portion of the rice when making it in certain pots/pans).
I had empanadas: the ones made from yuca. They were delicious and tasted freshly made. The complimentary sauce had a nice spicy kick and was slightly sweet.
Mofongo with Chicharron de Pollo: The Mofongo Mocano was amazing, and the touch on cheddar on top was a nice touch, though I removed most of it as I though the mofongo tasted well on its own.
I took home some Dominican cake as I was quite full. Delicious authentic Dominican cake with properly made icing (egg whites and sugar-amazing! ")
The chicken could use something to set it apart a little, from other establishments (maybe seasoned in lime juice before frying?)
Best Dominican Food, Definitely would recommend to all. If u have eaten in NYC this is the place to visit to eat & the presentation is amazing. The wait is worth the Drive See U soon.
The server don’t have one single answer to our question on what she had to offer for drinks, we ask for a menu and she repeated the same answer what do you want to see if I have it, that was her answer to every single questions, we end up walking out and for sure will never return
You have to stop here if you ever go to Miami! The food and the service are amazing. Ask for Juan!
Very impressive. Resurants clean top bottom. Even the bathroom looks spotless, dirty bathroom dirty staff. You absolutely have to try the mofungo!
Absolutely amazing I couldn't even finish the food before I wrote the review. Hands down best way to start a trip here.
MY LAST EXPERIENCE AT YARUMBA INVOLVED A SECURITY GUARD KEEPING MY BOTTLE, THE FOOD WE HAD TO GO, AND POCKETING THE WAITRESSES MONEY FOR HIMSELF.
Awesome place for lunch or dinner. Food is super good, presentation is even better. We went there for company lunch and was told by the waitress next time we come to give her a call first so she can have our tables ready in advance. Never been there night time, but was told it gets busy and is super fun with live music and dancing. All the waitresses are really nice and really beautiful, always a smile on their face.
Excellent service, the food was very tasty, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I can't wait to enjoy another moment here
Good food, no soap in bathroom. You gotta wonder how the cooks wash their hands after using the bathroom
I had hair on my salami.the waitress got my order wrong and when I got my food finally it was gross
It was our 1st time going to this restaurant and I must say it was such a great experience. The food, the service, and Juan our waiter was amazing! Next time we're staying for the entertainment. So I will highly recommend this restaurant.
First time there and it was amazing a little pricey but you get your money's worth! You literally get what you pay for huge plates great food with great staff
Amazing taste of the beautiful Dominican Republic in Miami! The place is a lil dark, however, I was told that it becomes a club at night. The menu is truly authentic Dominican. The empanadas are delicious and so is the quipe. The Picahna is really good and so is the churrasco! Their mofongo is out of this world! I go often whenever I am homesick! Great place!
Music and environment OK. Didn't actually kill me.
I might go another time to give an opportunity and also based on the worth of mouth received from friends.
Even though they charge us $26.00 for a small portion of mangu mix of yuca and plantain with a churrasco steak. The service was nice and the "chivo en salsa" was great!
